Roseate's Roost at Maravilla Condos

Welcome to this sweet condo with an expanded balcony enjoying gulf views as well as views to the hot tub and the largest of the 3 pools at the complex. Maravilla also has a dog park, picnic and grilling areas and some of the most gorgeous grounds you'll find in Galveston dotted with palm trees and other local flora and fauna. 1 Bedroom/1 Bath condo, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and child appropriate bunks in the hallway alcove welcome up to 6 total guests.

The roseate spoonbill is one of the hundreds of species of birds found in Galveston, as nearby to this condo as the lagoon on the east side of the Maravilla itself. The spoonbill is a symbol of strength, freedom and unity of fellow creatures. Whether you are seeking your inner strength, freedom from the everyday grind by visiting our island paradise, or sharing your trip with your fellow creatures (your family and friends) you have found the perfect spot for your trip to Galveston. Possibly the only negative is that you’ll have to fight them for the best seafood as the roseate spoonbill gets its color from what it eats – the local crustaceans! But you’ll find so many delicious eateries in Galveston from a great burger to amazing locally sourced seafood (that the spoonbill’s don’t beat the boats to!) if you leave Galveston hungry it’s not because the local businesses aren’t trying to feed you well. A few days or a month at Roseate’s Roost will reinvigorate you! The condo’s owner has thought of your comfort and peace while staying here – from the comfortable furnishings to the expanded balcony (first floor units at this complex have a larger balcony than other condos) with views to the gulf as well as the hot tub and the largest of the 3 pools) to the fully equipped kitchen – you will find everything you need to enjoy your stay.

My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started!

We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels. Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost.

The complex charges $10 per night per vehicle, up to a maximum of $70 per vehicle per month as a parking/resort/amenities fee. This is collected upon your arrival to the Maravilla complex and is not something we are able to collect in advance or pay for you.

Please be sure to read the House Rules section before booking. By booking you are agreeing to those rules - and these explain the additional taxes and fees that we are required to notify you about, as well as to collect, report and pay. We don't like it either - but we do very much value our guests.

We strive for 5 star reviews at all times - and the first part of that is notifying everyone of every cost they may incur so that there are no surprises. If during your stay with us you find any reason that you are not able to rate our service and the property a 5 star review based upon the description of the property, that the pictures accurately depict the property, or our courteous service - please let us know and give us the opportunity to turn that frown upside down and EARN your 5 star review.

The Maravilla condominiums - your new "home away from home" when in Galveston - whether an individual, a couple, a family, a family reunion, class reunion, wedding party ---- we manage multiple condos at multiple complexes and we would be honored to be your host! 3 pools, hot tub, fitness room, outdoor tropical grounds dotted with picnic tables & BBQ grills, a volleyball net, outdoor ping pong, corn hole and more!

There is currently construction going on in one building of the complex. This does not affect the condo you are reserving from us or any of the amities of the complex.

While this is a pet friendly complex, and the owners of this condo allow us to invite one canine family member to join it's humans on vacation, there is a nonrefundable $75 dog fee required and there are breed restrictions as well. (Pit Bulls, Rotweilers, Shepherds, Doberman's and Chows, or any "mutt" containing the bloodline of any of these breeds are not permitted per the owner's insurance policy.) When in doubt - please ask us before bringing your dog.
