This location on Sebec Lake is awesome. A long dock for boating, fishing and swimming- 15' depth is perfect for diving and jumping. Three kayaks, life jackets and noodles are supplied. A big deck almost on the water is fabulous. A big firepit, just a bit further away from the lake, is very nicely put together, with a massive supply of wood nearby. Another little deck area near the house is a bit inexplicable- an old hot tub spot? Another big sitting area on the other side of the house is cute but not really that appealing or practical. In the house itself, there is a very large porch overlooking the lake, half screened, half open- perfect!! BBQ trout there. Very comfortable with beautiful views westward,- sunsets are excellent!
The Great Room has a majestic fieldstone fireplace and comfortable sofas and chairs, with a nice TV for DVDs. The kitchen is well stocked and quite modern. There are two bedrooms (one queen bed ea)- comfortable & okay. An open area has six bunk beds- rustic, but okay. Two bathrooms- okay. It was very hot in mid July, and quite buggy, so it was quite unfortunate that the screens were a bit lacking, 92°... 5 windows had no screens. But there were plenty of fans!
All in all, a fabulous spot and a very nice cabin and facilities!
