Das Studio wurde ursprünglich in den frühen 1960er Jahren erbaut, wurde jedoch nachdenklich renoviert und mit vielen modernen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, darunter ein renoviertes Bad und Küchengeräte. Offener Grundriss mit Sitzecke und Küche sowie separatem Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett. Komplettes Badezimmer nur mit Dusche.

Es gibt so viele Touristenattraktionen in der Gegend, dass man unmöglich alle nennen kann. Genießen Sie alle Annehmlichkeiten des nahe gelegenen Acadia-Nationalparks und des Bar Harbor in nur 25 Autominuten Entfernung (ca. 4,8 km zu Wasser). Nordost- und Südwesthafen sowie Blue Hill befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hauptgeschäftsviertel ist Ellsworth (15 Autominuten) mit allem, was Sie jemals brauchen könnten. Es gibt den ganzen Sommer über zahlreiche Musikfestivals, ausgezeichnete Restaurants und sogar ein Kino für Regentage. Zu den unterhaltsamen Attraktionen zählen verschiedene Flug- und Walbeobachtungsunternehmen, professionelle Kajaktouren, Protokollshows, hervorragende Golfplätze sowie Minigolf und vieles mehr. Blunt's Pond ist ein wunderschöner und sauberer, frühlingsgespeister Badeteich, den Sie zu Fuß in 12 Minuten auf dem Waldweg erreichen können. Natürlich können Sie auch den Atlantik am Ufer überstehen. Lamoine Beach ist ein paar Meilen die Straße runter, ebenso wie der Lamoine State Park.

Unsere wundervolle Anlage, die seit Generationen in unserem Familienbesitz ist, befindet sich am östlichen Ende von Berry's Cove und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf Frenchman's Bay und den Mt. Desert Island mit direktem Zugang zum Ufer über den Rasen. Bei einer Ausrichtung nach Südwesten werden Sie die strahlenden Sonnentage und wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge lieben. Sie werden von vielen wunderschönen Tieren umgeben sein, darunter Adler, Seetaucher, Reiher und viele andere See- und Küstenvögel.

Idealer Ort zum Entspannen

Dieses Cottage ist gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Hosts haben uns willkommen geheißen und waren sehr unkompliziert. Wir haben die Privacy und Ruhe sehr genossen. Die Lage direkt am Berry Cove ist sehr schön. Das Häuschen ist umgeben von schattenspendenden Bäumen. Der Acadia Nationalpark mit all seinen Angeboten ist in gut 24 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit!

Perfect!

The setting is beautiful, even magnificent, and peaceful. The Studio is a lovely, simple roomy cabin well furnished for sleeping comfortably, cooking indoors and out, eating and lounging and simply taking in the beauty. Hot water was plentiful and all appliances worked! Freddie was a most cordial and friendly host--not at all intrusive but quicklly responsive to questions and specific needs (even supplied an extra (third) pillow and a yoga mat we couldn't bring with us) and was happy to share his knowledge about the local area. When the old Weber grill finally bit the dust, he had a new one fully assembled in a day. We were most pleased with our stay and would happily return.

Beautiful, peaceful cove

Perfect cozy cottage right on the water, bald Eagle’s, osprey’s in the trees, many different sea birds to watch from the porch as well as deer on the property, short trip to bar harbor and many other places to see, leaving the cottage was hard to do, host are very nice people , just simply loved our trip

The Studio

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the small cottage in Lamoine. Fred was a very accommodating host, friendly and had everything we needed for a comfortable home away from home. Quiet, great view of the water and wildlife, comfy bed for a great night’s sleep! The cabin was ideally located for easy driving to Acadia and other sites in the area. His recommendations for great restaurants, shopping, activities and sights were valuable as well!

A Piece of Maine Heaven

My husband and I loved staying at The Studio. The Cottage was charming, had a beautiful view of the water, and was clean and well stocked with everything we might need. Our hosts were helpful and knowledgeable. We loved our morning coffee on the porch overlooking the water, listening to the many birds nearby. We saw Bald Eagles, Osprey, Gulls and Loons in addition to many song birds. Sunsets were spectacular and the full moon over the cove was amazing. We slept some of the best sleep we've had outside our own home on the comfortable bed. The cottage was quiet and outside the crazy traffic of MDI/Acadia National Park yet close to everything by taking the back roads that bypass Ellsworth. Everything was perfect and we are already hoping to return for a longer stay next year.

Another great stay at this wonderful cabin by the bay!

We were so happy to return this year to this beautiful little slice of paradise on Frenchmen Bay. Fredi and Aja were the perfect hosts and provided us with all that we needed. So wonderful to be on vacation in such a relaxing place and so close to Arcadia and Bar Hatbor, yet far enough away to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the place. The cabin is so cozy and peaceful and has everything we needed, including the porch where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning looking out at the bay and hearing all the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back again!

A perfect honeymoon spot for my daughter!

We had waited five years to finally celebrate our honeymoon and I can’t think of a more perfect way than what we got. Freddi was the ideal host! From the moment we got there he was welcoming, giving us a tour and helping with our bags, as well as friendly, communicative and meeting us where our needs were. It truly felt like a home away from home and a family member away from family. And the view!! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean, the feeling of being tucked away in the woods, and the serene, peaceful atmosphere. The cottage itself is charming and cozy, with everything you need. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing and enjoying our morning coffee on the private deck overlooking the water was pure bliss. The sunsets were equally mesmerizing, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings. The location is ideal, offering both seclusion and convenience. We were only 20 minutes from Acadia National Park and 10 minutes from the local lobster man (highly recommended and his info is provided!). If you're looking for a serene escape with stunning ocean views and a great location, this cottage by the sea is a gem!

A Perfect Getaway

Peaceful Paradise

The cottage was perfect for our getaway! We enjoyed the lovely view of the cove and the saltwater breeze blowing through the windows. It was the perfect oasis - far enough from the “hustle and bustle”, but still close enough to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We hope to be back soon!

Hidden gem near Acadia with amazing views

Relaxing and peaceful stay

We had a great time at The Studio while visiting Acadia National Park despite the rainy/foggy weather. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very sweet and accommodating. They even gave an amazing local recommendation for lobster and offered us a late checkout. The location was convenient for traveling into the park and exploring the nearby area. We also loved looking out into the bay every morning. Everything was very clean and tidy. Exceptionally quiet at night with a comfortable bed. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect Getaway

A fantastic location for our anniversary trip. Studio was quaint, clean, and peaceful. The hosts were so pleasant and accommodating, they had several useful suggestions and readily available for any questions or needs. Perfect Retreat!

“The Studio” in Lamoine was the perfect getaway for our 4 night stay. It was just the right size for the 2 of us, and was clean, comfortable, cozy and private. We took countless photos of the stunning view of Berry Cove, including beautiful sunsets, and enjoyed sitting out in the porch taking it all in. Fredi was a friendly host and we enjoyed strolling around the property and talking with him. If you are coming here to spend time in Acadia, it was about a 20 minute drive. This is a place we’d surely stay in again!

Perfect Relaxing Vacation

The Studio offered everything we needed; bedding, towels, body wash, shampoo, etc. Pretty much the only thing we needed was our food, and a Roku stick to use with the WIFI. It was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. We had great views of the bay from the windows, as well as from the deck. The grounds are set at the end of a private road where it was very quiet. We felt no need to lock the door at anytime. Next time we plan our vacation in the area we surely will be staying here once again.
