Great Cabin, owner very helpful!

Clean, new and full of entertainment. We enjoyed our stay, we had a great time at the cabin. My whole family had a blast, with so many activities at the cabin there was no need to leave anywhere else. The beds, couches, restrooms, carpet, etc all new and clean. It was a great getaway, fully recommed!

An Amazing House In A Beautiful Area

We had a great weekend at this Cabin retreat. Everything that was stated was there and able to use. We had absolutely no problems and found the neighbors and neighborhood to be friendly. We highly recommend this to any Family or Boys Weekend. Pool table, poke,r, horseshoes, this place has got it all.

Great stay!

Well kept and clean. The host was helpful and attentive. Only had small issues with the outside grills, but the host said he will try to alleviate the issue. Overall a great and fun place!

Helicopter trip

We stayed at this property last summer with our children. It was my 13yo bday. We had a helicopter ride planned as a surprise for him but due to the fires it got canceled. He was super bummed of course so we brought him back for round 2. Mike was an amazing communicative host and the property is in great condition! There is usually a thing or 2 at most cabins needing some tlc but we did not find that to be true either time we stayed here! The cabin is clean,cozy and spacious with lots to do. We will definitely be back in the winter 😊

Spacious, Relaxing Game House

I recently hosted a get together with a group of buddies in our late 30d and the house was perfect. The pool table and poker table are conveniently located upstairs kitchen/living room with the open floor concept keeping everyone involved. The front and back porch offer great space to relax and eat meals outside. The house is in great condition, clean and spacious. It easily accommodated 8 of us. The only draw backs: no AC nor a ceiling fan, so the upstairs got a bit hot (however this would be a plus in winter and the porch’s and many windows made it easy to create a breeze). The only other potential issue is that you are a 10-15 minute drive from bars/casinos and getting an Uber home took some time. Still, we were able to get rides when we we needed, so overall not a big issue. The house is awesome, and the owner was incredibly easy to communicate with and rent from. Would return again with family and/or friends!

Awesome Bachelor Party Weekend!

We rented Mike and Amy's house for a bachelor party weekend and couldn't have been happier! Mike was very communicative and easy to work with. All the instructions on how to get into the house, where to find things, etc. were very clear and very helpful. The house was conveniently located near grocery stores and other amenities and only a short Uber ride to the casinos. Everything was very clean and very comfortable for our group. Most of all though, there was so much to do!!! Between the pool table, dart board, ping pong table, poker table, horse shoes, corn hole, and many other games and activities that are too numerous to list, we never found ourselves bored. Everyone in our group had a blast and we would absolutely stay here again!

Super rental, Super Host

6 of us stayed for a 4-night winter weekend. The cabin was in a great location and not too far from town. It was spacious, clean and quite equipped with fun games. The host, Mike, was very communicative and accommodating. Tahoe had record snowfall a couple weeks before our stay and the highly anticipated patios and grills were completely covered and piled high (approximately 3-4ft) with icy snow. We weren't able to use these amenities the first night, but after talking with Mike, he explained the challenges he's had with the snow removal company. And, despite Mike not being local, he was able to find someone, in a timely manner, to clear off the massive amounts of snow on one of the patios so we could access the grills the next evening and enjoy the patio space. A few things we wish would have gone smoother: 1) We wanted to buy some nice cuts of steak and sear them well on one of the 3 bbqs or the kitchen stove top. Unfortunately, the grills weren't suitable for this purpose as the heat was unevenly distributed. They were better suited for something quick and easy, like burgers or dogs. The professional grade grill wouldn't stay lit long enough to heat up, despite the propane being filled. The two Char-Broil grills would only partially ignite due to clogged burners and had rust and food on the grates. 2) The kitchen was lovely and open, and had what we needed for some easy home-cooked meals. The stove top burners, however, did not put out a ton of heat to get the sear we were looking for on the steaks, so we decided to eat out instead of grill. 3) The downstairs shower drain did not drain well. 4) We didn't have hot water for showers the second night. There wasn't really an explanation and nothing seemed wrong with the water heater. We weren't able to get the jacuzzi tub in the main bathroom a quarter-filled with hot water before the water turned to ice cold. Aside from those hiccups, we had a great time and were able to spread out yet still felt together in the open layout. The games (specifically the pool table, darts and poker table) were a huge reason why we picked this rental and there was always something to do when we were in the cabin. We really appreciated Mike's communication and generosity. He granted us an early check-in that we would have taken if we flew in earlier, and we were thankful for the later check-out. We'd definitely stay here again.

Superb Rental Experience

Besides the exceptional rental property, the communications with the owner made this trip very easy and stress free. All information and instructions were very clear. Cozy Stay

We had a blast spending our Thanksgiving in Mike’s cabin. He was extremely accommodating and very responsive whenever we had a question. He allowed us early check-in and late check-out. They had just about anything you could think of in the kitchen, with additional pantry items. Lots of games for the kids and adults to keep everyone entertained. Thank you!

Bachelor Party Weekend

Mike's Place was fantastic for a low-key bachelor party that focused on golf and gambling. The house is in a great location that is a quick 10-15 minute uber from South Lake Tahoe. Right next to one golf course and a short drive to any others around the lake. The house itself easily fit all ten of us, and included a nice pool table, a poker table, full kitchen, multiple grills, games, and horseshoes. Neighbors did not bother us even on nights that we stayed up late. Highly recommend!

Very nice property!

Me,my husband and our children stayed at this property for our annual family summer Tahoe trip/my 12yo bday. The house is spacious and clean. That's wonderful, Tahoe has many wonderful, clean cabins but what set this one apart for us was the organization. I greatly appreciate that everything is clearly laid out and labeled. The house has plenty of space for everyone to spread out and lots to do,pool,poker,board games,darts etc.... We all had a lot of fun! Mike was a great and communicative host. Highly recommend!

The property was great and had everything we needed for our short stay. The first night the power went out but Mike checked in to let us know what was going on and let us know where to find flashlights. Will stay again with my family if we ever make it back to Tahoe.

The owner is very communicative and the property has all the amenities you need. This property is very well maintained and super clean. There is a grocery store two minutes from the house and the lake is a short drive. Be prepared for a hospitable owner, Mike is awesome.

Awesome place to hangout

This place had a little bit of everything including ping pong, pool table, card game table, and big TV. It's awesome even on days you decide to stay in and there is plenty to do. Its in a quiet neighborhood and you can see the stars at night as we'll. It is about a 15-20 min drive to the lake, but I would definitely stay here again. Mike, the owner, was very helpful and communicative and the place was very clean when we arrived.

Relaxing and great stay in Tahoe

My family and friends had a great time at this cabin. Everything was as shown in the photos. It was like our home away from home. Everything you need to cook and clean are available. There are plenty of games to play and keep everyone occupied and happy. Would definitely recommend to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is so clean and provided almost everything!

The booking was so easy, checking in was so smooth! The owner, Mike even let us check in as early as we can on a Memorial Weekend!!! Before the date of our stay he provided us everything we need to know via email and text messages so we know what to do ahead of time which is very helpful for us! When we get there, we were so amazed by the cleanliness of the cabin and with all the amenities included. He provided all the basic neccesities from hand soaps to basic condiments in the kitchen. There were lots of extra airbeds and linens. Lots of activities for kids and adults too! We love the pool table!!! The cabin has 3 bbq grill!!!!!! love that too!! Mike always reply to all my text messages concerning little problems during our stay. He made sure that issues were addressed right away. Definitely will recommend this cabin to my friends and family and definitely will come back again and book this in our future vacation in Tahoe! Thank you Mike!
