Nice week!

Our stay was overall great. There were Some cleanliness issues upon arrival.. which I understand with a large beach house. Mostly dog hair, stains on furniture (older) Crumbs and bugs on stairs. Some trash out by pool. We cleaned some and called back to office and they came back. The refrigerator door is broken and if you do not know it, your food inside will not stay cold. We were able to rig the door to close for us for the week. Also, the outdoor speakers do not work and need replaced, per maintenance. Overall, the state was and the management was very kind and supportive. The house was great for our family with A young child, middle and teen

The place is, as described, with the pool and hot tub being the highlight. This property offers a fantastic amount of space and includes a great guidebook for all things within it. You can tell the place is well-used, but this means so many people have enjoyed it. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. Of the two issues we had, the property mgmt company/maintenance crews were quick to respond and resolve the issues to the best of their abilities. No complaints there! Top-notch customer service. Our only issue was upon arrival, the cleaning staff member was still in our home until about 530. We were told we could access it at 4 pm and after a 6+ hour drive we had to wait in the driveway another hour and a half. Other than that, we would happily return to this property and recommend it to any large group visiting the area!

Loved It

The house was REALLY people, toddler & dog friendly! It was spacious, lovely and super comfortable. Best kitchen & utensils of any place we've rented. Most thorough guest manual that often was referenced. Really grateful for all the switches being marked. A storm was just blowing out when we arrived & had created a mess in the back yard. Except for a multi-day fiasco cleaning the pool, the yard was quickly put to rights. Best jacuzzi I've ever used! We hope to return.

Satisfying stay

The property was great had all the featured amenities. Supported our families needs. Only cons..were the cleanliness first appears clean but once sitting down you could see dog hair and sand in the furniture. Also, the outdoor pool furniture was very weathered and cracked when I set on it. Overall it was a good property and would stay again.

Beautiful views

The home was exactly as pictured. The views were even better. For the price and when we went it was perfect for us. There were some negatives, unsure if the home was actually cleaned by cleaners, there were numerous stains to furniture and carpets (to be expected with a dog friendly place), and you have to drive to the beach with limited parking. Some other small details but nothing too drastic. The property manager had said there weren’t beach chairs but there were some there when we arrived. That was an added bonus! The hot tub and pool were fantastic. My one year old also loves the sand and play set at the house. There are two charcoal grills which were nice to have!

Great vacation rental for those who like to cook

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kitchen supplies were abundant, but don’t expect to have any basics like salt/pepper. Literally nothing is left behind, luckily I even brought salt/pepper. I have learned to not rely on certain items like citrus press, basting brushes, big casserole dishes. This kitchen had all of them and more, including a garlic press. We’ve been staying in similar homes for a few years in different locations and this kitchen had the best supplies. Our air went out on top floor and they responded quickly. On the downside, we saw a difference in this was a “professional host”. We had to pay 200 for sheets/bath towels and they were in a tote in the driveway (poorly communicated as well, so we thought we had no towels by our mistake and bought some, then when sheets were missing we knew something was wrong). The expectations of our cleaning before leaving included vacuuming, mopping, etc, instead of emptying trash and fridge and stripping beds. We also had to sign a separate contact outside of Vrbo, couldn’t use the damage insurance purchased via Vrbo and had to purchase through the professional agency, had to get keys from them instead of going straight to home, and couldn’t cancel at any time with any portion of reimbursement and we booked well in advance... all conveniences we have had with precious VRBO reservations. Although we were overall happy with this place, the value seemed less than previous places through VRBO in different locations (we’ve been left bottles of wine, houses seemed more cared for, had more amenities) and we will definitely be looking to not book with “professional hosts” in the future as we feel the other hosts homes are better kept and we get more value/personalized help from non-professional hosts.

Great 4th of July week...went way too fast!

House was as expected/described. Great views off the back balcony for several different fireworks along the beach! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. Beds were all very comfortable and so was the furniture. Large dining table with lazy susan in middle was a nice touch for a large group! Some of the plastic pool chairs were cracked in different places. Showers not meant for taller folks as you can bump your head upon entering and the nozzles are a little low.

Luckily my kids had a great time with the fun foosball, private pool and playset in the backyard. It was our second time staying at this house. We just love it! When the beach is open it's literally a 1 minute drive right across the road! You can watch the ocean and sunrise from the back deck.

Really nice place especially for dogs

This place pretty much had it all including a fenced-in yard for dogs to run free, hot tub, pool and backyard games. Very spacious house and excellent video electronics and sound systems that reached throughout the house. Foosball table a little junior grade and you had to cross a main road to get to the beach but no problem parking for the time we were there (mid-May). Would recommend staying at Fore Sea Suns for beach fun.

House is very nice inside & out. We loved it! Location is close to main road so is noisy though. No highchair or beach chairs, however, lots of water & beach toys. The cleaning people didn't do that great of job.

Relaxing with amazing views

Overall this was a nice property to stay at. I know some people complained about the noise from the highway, but it’s honestly not bad. The pool and hot tub are amazing. The overall deck area is really nice. The house has amazing views of the ocean from one side, and the golf course from the other.

Great getaway!

The house is clean, well stocked and close to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The rental company was great, we had no issues and the place was ready for early check in. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 kiddos as well as our dog. The pool and hot tub were great to really tire the kids out after the beach. My only complaints are the distance to the beach, walking isn’t an option due to having to cross a VERY busy highway (but I’ll take that responsibility for not looking at the map closer prior to booking) and it’s located right on the green of a golf course… fortunately none of our cars were damaged and snagged plenty of golf balls from the driveway as souvenirs.

Relaxation stay

The property was very well decorated. There were four of us and our dog and it was very spacious. The property could use a deep cleaning as there was a lot of dog hair on the blankets and pillows. It would be nice if they had a Keurig machine and margarita/ champagne glasses. The pool and whirl pool were wonderful. Overall it was a wonderful week.

Great Place to stay in the OBX

What a location, right on SeaScapes golf course (hole 11) and minutes away from the beach! Upstairs has a terrific view of the golf course from one side of the home and the ocean from the other. Definitely reccomend!

This was a very nice house in a great location and the beach was just a couple blocks away. The neighborhood was very quiet and out of the way. I would absolutely rent this house again. The only thing we were disappointed in was that the few essentials that I felt should have been provided by the owners was not. We had to quickly go to Walmart to buy house essentials as soon as we got there. I feel for the prices charged there should be the bare essentials provided. Also we were told we could pick up our key at 4pm but when we got there the cleaning lady was not finished and took about 90 minutes longer to finish the house. That was a bit uncomfortable as we had dogs and had to sit outside and it was very hot.
