Das Bailey Sands ist ein bezauberndes Cottage auf einer privaten Straße, direkt gegenüber dem schönen Pere Marquette Beach, dem großen öffentlichen Strand in Muskegon, Michigan. Gehen Sie den Strand entlang zum Strand-Grillrestaurant oder den bewaldeten Pfad direkt hinter dem Cottage hinunter, um ein Naturerlebnis zu erleben. Am Strand gibt es Spielgeräte und Händler, die Eis und Getränke verkaufen. Es gibt einen Hundestrand und Hunde sind auch in den bewaldeten Sanddünen erlaubt. Kurze Fahrt zum Michigan Adventure Amusement Park oder den vielen Brauereien und Weingütern in diesem Teil von West Michigan. Bailey Sands verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer - 1 Queen-Size-Bett, 1 Etagenbett mit zwei Einzelbetten und eine ausziehbare Couch. Das Bad verfügt über eine Badewanne mit Dusche. Komplett eingerichtete Küche, Gasgrill, Feuerstelle, alles, was Sie für den Strand benötigen, Sandkasten für die Kinder, erweitertes privates Deck auf der Rückseite und große 3-Jahreszeiten-Veranda. Cottage verfügt über Highspeed-Internet, eine Antenne für lokale Kanäle und Smart-TV mit Netflix. Das Cottage verfügt über eine Zentralheizung und eine große Fensterklimaanlage. Parkplatz für zwei Standardfahrzeuge direkt am Ferienhaus, Platz für andere auf der nahe gelegenen Straße.
Das Haus ist die ganze Saison; Dieses Gebiet bietet im Winter tolle Outdoor-Aktivitäten wie ein öffentliches Rodeln, in der Nähe ausgezeichnete Rodel- und Eislaufmöglichkeiten sowie Langlaufloipen.
Die Sommer, die 2018 beginnen, werden von Woche zu Woche von Samstag bis Samstag (Mitte Juni - Tag der Arbeit) sein.

Location is perfect! Enjoyed sipping our coffee in the screen porch watching the water. Very clean and nice size for a small family or two couples. Loved being able to walk to the Deck restaurant. Owner is very responsive.

Terrific views of Lake Michigan

I grew up in this neighborhood, so I was already in love with this area. The Lake Michigan views are exceptional. This little cabin is rustic, so if you're looking for an updated modern chic decor and amenities, you should stay in a newer condo but you won't enjoy the beautiful Lake Michigan experience that this little cabin offers.

Lake Mi Mother & Son's Vacation

Bailey Sands is the PERFECT location for a Summer Vacation ! Just across the street from the beautiful Pere Marquette Park/Beach (Lk Mi) we all loved the convenience to be able to easily walk back and take a break from the sun/sand/water mid-day. Very quiet surrounded by other nice, friendly rentals as well so as a single mom traveling I felt safe. The cabin itself was much nicer and more affordable than a hotel room, we had plenty of space to spread out and relax, I enjoyed morning coffee on the screened front porch as well as the back deck, evening bonfire was fun as well. The cabin has plenty of supplies to make the stay smooth and easy. And there is plenty to do close by.... Definitely check out The Deck bar/restaurant -excellent food, fun atmosphere with beach games, and live music. Dockside Donuts was a big hit (just a short drive into town) The Lavender Latte was delicious and donuts were so fresh fun flavors! Lombardo's pizza was another spot we tried..don't skip the Dill Pickle Pizza....AMAZING! All of us had a wonderful time! Memories were made and we are excited to return/stay again!

Perfect location but more dirty than I would like

My family stayed at Bailey Sands for a few nights while we were in town visiting family. The location was perfect! It was so nice to have the beach only a few steps away. The owner was good to do business with. She answered emails in a timely fashion and seemed friendly. The cottage is old (which we knew when renting). I wish it was cleaned better. A deep cleaning once a month is necessary. Light fixtures, upper shelves, top of fridge and ceiling fans should be cleaned. The shower curtain was cloth without a liner. The curtain was stained and looked quite dirty. The wall next to the toilet had what looked like urine splattered on it. (Boys!). This sort of detail to cleaning is necessary when renting a home out. The wifi shut off half way through our stay. Thus, the TV would not work either. One might say "who cares, you're on the beach!" I would agree except for at night time when my husband has insomnia and can't sleep. He depends on TV to keep him company. The furniture and beds are old and not comfortable. One of the rocking chairs has the seat bottom broken out and a piece of vinyl siding there for support. I know this because I'm a little chubby and heard a little 'crack' when I sat down. The oven and stove were dirty. Luckily, I didn't need to cook while there. Overall, it was ok. My suggestion is to upgrade a bit, keep it cleaner and provide more shower towels. You probably could charge a little more if you did these things.

We booked the sister cottage last spring for Mother’s Day and had such a great experience we immediately came home and booked Bailey Sands for my birthday week. What a nice little cottage. Super clean, plenty of seating and comfy beds. Had a nice relaxing fire after a day of shopping and dinner at kazumis. Five stars!!

Perfect for Family of Four

The cottage was exactly what we expected based on description and photos. Clean, easy check-in. Had everything we needed, even firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks for the fire pit! I most enjoyed the enclosed front porch with the screened windows open, and a small view of the beach/lake. One of our box fans did not work, but the property manager quickly brought a replacement. With fans in both bedrooms, and the porch and bathroom doors closed, most of the cottage stayed fairly cool. Proximity to beach was fantastic, but it is also easy to get out to other locations when desired. Two restaurants and a nice WWII submarine museum are within walking distance, as well as the channel and walk out to the small lighthouse. We enjoyed hiking dunes and woods off the end of Nelson St. Very relaxing trip for us!

Great location; well maintained, super clean, nice walking neighborhood, so nice to be so near our beautiful Lake Michigan. A classic beach cottage. Perfect for a small group or family. The only negative was having difficulty with the lockbox. It is old and should be retired for a new model.

Good experience

Weather was a little chilly in mid- May but was sunny. The cabin is as described, clean and well stocked vacation cabin. No fireplace that was listed. It was close to everything and the beach is beautiful! Thanks for a great stay. Parking is very tight!

Great place to stay!!

It’s very pet/family friendly. The lake is less than five minutes away. There is construction at the time. My dogs have never been around sand. Me and my husband found out our dogs love sand. We are thinking about coming next year.

Clean and Close to the Beach

Bailey Sands was just the place for my family of 4 to have a short getaway. The cottage was clean and just the right size. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything that we needed to cook food on site, including oil, a toaster, tea kettle and even some spices! The proximity to the beach was perfect and the outdoor spaces gave the kids a place to dig and play when we were not at the beach. The host was communicative and gave us many details to make our stay enjoyable. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

beautiful relaxing home away from home....

It is so close to the water and beach. The place was clean and cute. We had everything we needed and was great for kids. We went when it was after swimming season, but we still enjoyed the parks and the beach. Our host was super and very responsive. The time away was great.

Siblings vs vacation

This is a nice cottage. Exactly as shown in pictures. It was set back from the road so we didn't get a lot of street noise. We would of used the beach more, but weather disallow us to. There were lots of other things to do in the area that kept us occupied. I would rent this cute cottage again.My

Peggy Kleinert and Tara Merlo are the mother / daughter co-owners of Bailey Sands and Savannah Sands Beach Cottages. The twin beach cottages are named after Peggy's 2 grand-daughters. Tara does the booking online and manages them.

These cottages were built in 1930's as a collective of 5 cottages with a bathhouse in the middle...much has changed since then. What has not changed is the absolute beauty of this area...a very large, extremely clean beach with wooded areas too. One beach restaurant and ice cream shop, but otherwise quiet and spacious area. A place to decompress.
