This was my first time using VRBO and I must say I might have wrong expectations for some things (like communication) please take into consideration.
We arrived about 6pm (late) due to our plane being delayed. When we got in the house it was 80 degrees and felt very hot. We tried lowering the thermostat but nothing helped so we contacted the managers. They were very responsive and tried all they could to get the air to come on, with no luck. They had a AC Company who would be out within the hour, but it was already getting close to 8pm and we still hadn't eaten dinner and didn't know where we would be able to sleep. We decided to try to find another place to stay. They were understanding and refunded our money in full.
I will leave out information about both places we tried to stay that night, but suffice it say they were horrible.
at 3:15pm the next day, David sent me a text saying the AC was working and it was apparently a blown fuse and asked if we were interested in coming back to the house at a discounted rate. I was thrilled. We returned to Kinder Haus and it was so nice and cool!
The house is beautiful and very much like it is described online. The beds were a little stiff, but doable. My only complaints were it was not well-stocked: there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra in the cabinets except in one bathroom and only 1 laundry pod. When I texted David said he would bring more TP over, but never showed up and stopped responding.
