We had an excellent stay!

Wonderful spacious condo in playacar literally steps from the pool and beach. The beach here is much nicer than the beaches in Playa Del Carmen proper. The pool is fantastic as well. We did not have a car and even though playacar is a little ways away, we walked to town everyday with no problem. You can walk along the beach or via the cobbled road. Communication from Blaine and Wendy was great and they each even swung by to say hi one day since they live in the area part of the year. Highly recommend, we will stay here again when back in the area!

Great condo close to town

My husband and I had a great stay at Fisherman’s Village. The property owners were great and Wendy even took us grocery shopping on our first day. The location was excellent and the beach was beautiful. My husband was thrilled by the fact that he could kiteboard right from the beach at the condo. We would definitely return!

Great location. I joined my sister and her family who own a timeshare at Fisherman and plan to return. Steps away from the pool. Wonderful condo as well. Just a heads up that I misunderstood when checking I could leave a tip for all the staff. You can leave a tip at checkout. I was tipping individually for services , again fabulous

Great locations and amenities

Everything was great. Love being just a short walk from town and also right on the ocean. The unit was clean and comfortable. It’s nice being on the ground floor so that you can pop in and out from the pool and beach for drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Best Vacation Yet!

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week stay at Blaine's and Wendy's condo at Fishermen's (Feb-Mar 2019). This was our 2nd annual vacation at Fishermen's but the first time that we stayed in Blaine's and Wendy's condo. Their unit is perfect! It is spotless, the décor is neutral and modern and it felt like home. We love this property as well. The pool is great, the beach is fantastic and we never had a problem getting a chair with a nearby umbrella at either the pool or on the beach. In the days leading up to our arrival we received an email wishing us a good and safe journey; shortly after arriving Blaine checked in to ensure that we had everything that we needed and he also stopped to introduce himself when he saw us sitting on the patio late that first afternoon. We had the opportunity to meet Wendy one afternoon at the pool and both were so helpful and freely shared information as well as recommendations of restaurants to try in town. The staff are also very friendly and helpful at Fishermen's. We met so many great people and are already looking forward to next year's vacation having already reserved the condo for the same 2 weeks next year! Fishermen's is an easy walk into Playa for groceries and restaurants. Hubby brought a backpack and easily carried what we needed for 2 days at a time. We really enjoyed our walks into town - taking a different route each time, discovering new and off the beaten path little restaurants. We never felt unsafe in Playa during the day (we were back to the condo before or shortly after dark) - no different than at home so I can't comment on the Playa nightlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Fishermen's and Blaine's and Wendy's condo. Heaven on earth!

Great holiday spot

A great holiday at Sunset Fishermen this February. Our hosts Blaine and Wendy were readily available and most helpful. Our comfortable condo was well equipped and located on the ground floor with easy access to the pool and beach. The suite has a comfortable king sized bed with luxurious sheets. We appreciated the complimentary telephone, good wifi and television access. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

Wonderfully comfortable condo unit in a very well maintained smaller resort

Our second time to Fishermans. #108 is comfortable, full function kitchen, very comfortable bed with second AC in bedroom, and is very quiet. This unit is well situated, ground floor, ocean view, yet offers lots of privacy . We loved the Canadian TV channels and the phone, to stay in touch with home. Wendy and Blaine go beyond expectations to be helpful and make you feel welcome. Fishermans is in a gated community, an easy walk into town, with a great beach. Also has a beach Cafe/bar. We used the Hobi cat several times, more than enough new loungers and umbrellas to relax on. Will return to this private unit Sid and Bev

Paradise! One of a kind spot! Outstanding hosts!

There are not enough words to express how much we love our vacations at Fishermen’s Village. First, Blaine and Wendy are incredible. They want nothing more than for their guests to be happy, so they go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. The resort is very small and beautiful. Only fifty or so condos, so everyone is close to the beach. This condo is in a perfect ground floor location just a few steps from the pool and the beach. We absolutely love it here....never want to leave!

Perfect!

Very special place - memorable vacation - will refer others

Fishermens is as the owners says in advertisement - a boutique resort with all the services within 70 yards of the patio door. The beach is fantastic!! and the proximity to downtown Playa del Carmen is convenient. The condo was everything we expected. It was very comfortable with easy access to the beach, spa and lobby. We met a lot of friend people sitting on the patio who were also interested in renting the condo. We rate the rental experience of the unit very high as the owners were in contact with us during our stay to make sure everything went well. They were most helpful with suggestions and ideas The staff at the resort were amazing right from the day we arrived until the day we departed. They were very personable and helpful. We hope to return to this resort one day in the future as we had a great beach vacation. Thank you to the owners !!

The best place to be in Playa Del Carmen !

L'endroit où être ! Playacar Phase 1 est un quartier résidentiel très sécuritaire. Ce complexe intime est directement sur la plage qui est super bien entretenue par le personnel du complexe. L’accueil est chaleureux le personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable. Le condo de Blaine et Wendy est parfait. Le lit est très confortable, il y a une salle de bain complète ainsi qu'une salle d'eau, très pratique. Rien ne manque, la cuisine est bien équipée par se faire à manger, beaucoup de prises électrique pour brancher les appareils rechargeables ! petite terrasse parfaite pour l'apéro, accès direct à la plage. Le village de playa del carmen est à 15 minutes à pied et la plage de playacar tellement plus belle que celle de Playa Del Carmen. Blaine et Wendy s’occupent très bien de leur invités. Ils habitent à quelques minutes, donc sont très accessible si requis. Je recommande vivement ce condo. Nous sommes des habituées de Playa Del Carmen et c'est sans contredit le meilleur endroit où se loger afin de profiter de la belle plage et aussi du centre de PDC

Location, Location, Location!!!

This property is located inside of a gated community. Although small, this property has all the adminities you could ask for. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner met us at our arrival and checked on us throughout our stay. The condo itself has a modern decor and is very spacious. There were pots, pans, dishes, silverware and spices in the kitchen. There were extra pillows and blankets too! Town was a quick 15 minute walk, or 90 pesos for a one way cab ride. Their is a partial view of the beach and full view of the pool area from the patio. The reason for 4 stars is due to the noise level in the front bedroom. Overall we were very impressed by the condo and would stay again!

My husband and I stayed in this condo for a week to relax and enjoy the beach and it was perfect. The condos first FL location is perfect for access to beach, pool and hotel restaurants and spa. The unit is nicely decorated, well maintained, AC works well - very comfortable. The owners were very gracious, helped us get settled and available if we needed anything or had any questions. All in all, a great week in great accommodations.

Can't imagine a better place to stay in Playa del Carmen!

Very detailed owner's description speaks for itself. And it is all true and operational; indeed Fisherman's is the best located beach front condominium in Playa del Carmen. Years back when we transitioned from all inclusive to independent vacations we came to Playa, rented some apartment (not the best location and not the best apartment) and spent a few days walking along the beach from Fisherman's in the South to the 60 st in the North to find the perfect spot where we want to stay down the road. Fisherman's and Xaman Ha were on the top of our list. We tried both and Fisherman's won because of multiple amenities it offers. We selected 108 because it is on the ground floor. We were not disappointed when we rented it. This beautiful place made us come back this year. Property management is unbeatable and friendly. Property owners Blaine and Wendy are easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs.

Lovely condo , great location

Perfect place to relax and unwinde! Best location on ground floor and well maintained with everything you would need. Owners were great and always available if you needed them. Make your own meals or enjoy the restaurant on site. The complex is small, friendly and we couldn't ask for anything more. Let's just say that we enjoyed it so much that we have family renting it next year... Thanks Blaine and Wendy for the wonderful condo!

Perfect condo!

My husband and I stayed here for one week and it was perfect for us. Everything was as expected and the owners were very nice to deal with. The location in Playacar was great, too. Just far enough from the busy Playa Del Carmen area but only a 15 minute walk to all the action, which we enjoyed every night! Nice to come back each night to peace and quiet. The condo has everything you need, and is nice and clean, and the resort is beautiful and well maintained. Thank you Blaine & Wendy for a great vacation!

Great Condo, even better view!

My wife and I stayed here for a week and we can't say enough great things about the condo or the owners. The best thing was sitting on the shaded patio, just stones throw from the beach. The view from the patio is, for us, heavenly. Having a full kitchen with everything you need to make all of your meals and a great blender to make frozen cocktails was great. The pool area was nice and was not usually a problem to find a sunlounger. The beds and loungers on the beach are a great touch. The property is well kept with work going on to keep it clean all the time. The one downside was not having an ATM on site, but it is a relatively quick walk to town, so not that big of a deal. The owners were great people, and we can't wait to rent from them again next year. Love, Love, Love Playa Del Carmen and this condo is a great way to visit.

Heaven in Playa car

this unit met all our expectations. The staff was very attentive and helpful and the restuarants were great and really reasonably priced. The beach beds were the best for lying around in the sun. It was so easy to get around from there and beautiful to walk either on the beach or thru the exclusive residential area of playa car. There is so much to do in the area you will never get bored. Although a little boredom on the beach is kind of special too. We will definitely be back. Barb

would definitely rent this one again

Description was very accurate, photos reflect property well, condo was clean and well maintained as was the resort property. Owner met us our first day answered questions and was very helpful. This condo is in a perfect location for pool and beach activities. Was easy to come and go - loved having a full kitchen. 2 bathrooms was also very nice when getting ready. The bedroom is on the back of the building,away from the beach, near the entry doors. This made for noisy nights with people coming and going with loud voices. One long night of noisy residents..ear plugs helped the next night. The curtains could be a bit heavier in the bedroom to keep morning sun out. Scrambling the last day to get out by noon was cumbersome since our transfer didn't arrive until 3:00 - would have been nice to be able to stay until then, especially since the calendar showed no new renters until Tuesday. Bottom line - would recommend this condo and would rent again.

Blaine & Wendy are retired professionals who own timeshare & have travelled extensively to MANY countries & resorts in the world. We put the CARIBBEAN, and most particularly the Mayan Riviera at the top of the list of all countries viisted. Without doubt - Fishermen's Spa & Resort is the BEST of ALL !

BEACH VACATIONS are by our definition a time for rest and relaxation with the occasional activity - the opposite of an adventure getaway. There is nothing more relaxing than LOUNGING on the BEACH or by the pool under an umbrella with a good book and my favorite beverage in hand. Our adventure vacation would be one that I see, do or experience something new like swimming with dolphins, exploring CENOTES and trying new cuisine.

We particularly enjoy meeting new people with interesting stories to tell, travel tips and life experiences.

We also enjoy searching out new restaurants with new friends recently met. No visit to Playa del Carmen would be complete without going to Lido's beach bar for live music, and Ah Cacoa for a refreshing mocha/frappachino.

Blaine & Wendy purchased this condo because of its LOCATION in Playa del Carmen and its proximity to a PRIVATE BEACH and DOWNTOWN. The condo patio door is 30-yards from the POOLS and 50-yards from the Caribbean WHITE SAND BEACH. It is 100-yards from ocean waters edge to the refrigerator handle in the condo.

Nothing is better then a fresh cup of coffee on the BEACHFRONT TERRACE at 6:00 am as the SUN rises while the staff begin their day, except possibly a drink on the TERRACE at the end of another RELAXING day on the BEACH.

Fishermens is in a FULL service, ALL CONDO, hotel resort' including SPA and training GYM. The staff is extremely FRIENDLY and fully committed to GUEST SERVICE. The resort has +20 years maturity, and is professionally managed & very well maintained.

Fishermens Village is in the PRESTIGEOUS, GATED & SECURE community of Playcar Fase One, and is known to be a very 'LAID BACK' resort with "very friendly" top notch services.

The location is very SCENIC and QUIET; the 15-20 minute walk to downtown or the COZUMEL FERRY, through the community of cobbled streets and Mayan Ruins of Playacar is WORLD CLASS and UNIQUE.

Fishermens is truly a very 'PRIVATE' beach resort; the quality of sand and surf is 'SECOND TO NONE' that we have experienced. We have not found a better resort in all our worldly travels.

We can say with HONESTY that Fishermans Resort, with its LOCATION on the Mayan Riviera, has GOT IT ALL!! R&R, Adventure, Culture and Comraderie!!!
