Diese Kabine in schönen Connestee Falls, Gated Community verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett im Master-und zwei Einzelbetten in extra Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer mit Badewanne, offene Wohnzimmer / Esszimmer / Küche Konzept bietet eine 4-köpfige Familie komfortable Unterkünfte. Ein Rundum-Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen für Naturliebhaber zu genießen. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Granit wird die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten an den Tagen "Essen in" bevorzugt ermöglichen. Waschmaschine und Trockner in Kabine für Mieter. Keramische Fliesen in Bädern und Hartholz durch aus mit Teppichen machen aufzuräumen einfach.

Great cabin and location

My elder brother and I came to fish in the Connestee Falls lakes(4)My wife and I some years back owned a home there and thought my aging brother a big trout fisherman would enjoy a few days fishing. The fishing was outstanding also. The Donaldson owners were gracious and their cabin more than well equipped. A double plus !!

Mountain vacation

We all enjoyed the vacation in the woods, 20 minutes from Brevard's quaint shopping historic shopping district. We took hikes on the trails of the neighborhood and saw a couple of waterfalls along the way. The open concept living area fit four adults very well.

Perfect get-a-way

We enjoyed everything about are stay here! The cabin was very comfortable, very clean and had everything you possibly would of needed! We loved the location and the gated community was a plus! Close to all the sights we wanted to see! We will definitely be back to this cabin in the near future! The hosts were fantastic and made check-in & check-out very easy! Fabulous Labor Day Stay

Just returned from a fabulous stay in Brevard! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The communication with Susan was great - from check-in, amenities and things to do. She even left us a goodie bag! The house was spotless, very comfortable and well-stocked. We spent the majority of our time outdoors lounging on the wrap around deck watching the deer frolic. The neighborhood is full of activities which I plan on partaking in at our next visit - tennis, pickleball, kayaking, golfing. We did spend our days hiking at the nearby parks, all of which were within 30 minutes from the house. I would recommend getting groceries on your way up the hill as it is a 20 minute windy drive to get back down. Thank you Susan for allowing us to share your special place - we will be back!

Wonderful Brevard weekend get-away!

We loved this little cabin - the owner was super responsive and left us a sweet note and treats. The place was clean and well-equipped. Loved being able to use the pool and have access to hiking, lakes, etc. Perfect location! Definitely recommend staying here if visiting Brevard! We will be back!

Memorial Day weekend in the mountains

We had a lovely long weekend Susan and Donald's property. Communication was very good and their property was as described. Loved the big deck in the woods which was very peaceful. For adults, the main bed would have been more comfortable if not sagging in the middle. Would also suggest leaving instructions to lock the main door as it's not a conventional lock.

Cabin in the Trees

We just finished a stay at what I call the Cabin in the Trees. In mid-winter the view from the deck was fantastic. I felt like I was in a tree house! This cabin was cozy and as clean as you could ask for. Very well stocked and the hosts were great to deal with. Lots of communication and also lots of info in the cabin on what to do and where to eat. Close to Brevard and lots of hiking trails right in the community. Perfect.

Lovely Mountain Cottage/Cabin

Due to some flight cancellations, we shifted our year end trip to the Brevard, NC area. We were able to find this lovely rental in the Connesstee Falls area. The owners were great to work with. They handle our sudden change of plans with prompt and clear communication. The property was perfect for our family of four plus our dog. We were able to take morning and evening walks around the properties roads, lakes and hiking trails. We ventured into Brevard, NC and Hendersonville, NC several times. Susan and Dave took great care of us and made sure that anything we would possible need was taken care of. We look forward to returning in the future. Overall, it was a great experience.

Birthday Fishing Trip

When to Brevard for a birthday fishing trip! Susan and Dave Donaldson’s cabin was perfect! Situated in the gated community of Connestee Falls, literally you have everything within reach! The community has Great Lakes for fishing, 18 hole regulation golf course which includes a beautiful and less than ten minutes and you’re in downtown Brevard. Their cabin was clean, comfortable with everything you could need! They even left snacks, candies and a bottle of wine! Great hosts!!! This will be my regular go-to place going forward! Bob

Perfect long weekend getaway to recharge

The property owners are doing everything right with this cabin. It's well-appointed and perfectly situated near everything the area has to offer. On arrival we were greeted with fresh flowers, a bottle of wine and music playing on the stereo. They'd thoughtfully left a few lights on, as we arrived after dark. The welcome binder had all the numbers of local restaurants and activities and directions for how to access hiking within the private community. Connestee Falls is spectacular. We went to all the lakes, parks and many of the trails. It was an easy drive to Brevard and Hendersonville, Piscah National Forest and DuPont State Forest. The cabin itself was cozy, clean and the perfect setting for cooking and playing cards in front of a fire after a long day of hiking. The deck was a great spot to drink some wine and even get in some yoga. We had such a wonderful time and hope to return!

Perfect location

Location was just what we were looking for. Quiet setting, beautiful scenery. We opened the doors to soft music, complementary wine, flowers etc… wonderful hosts that really added that personal touch.

Perfect location to enjoy the Beautiful Waterfalls and very Peaceful

We had a Wonderful time- we were able to hike at Pisgah National forest, Dupont State forest and most Beautiful Connestee Falls right in the community. So Beautiful- loved all the cascades. Perfect location!

The property was beautiful! The owners were so accommodating and easy to contact. There were great hiking trails in Connestee Falls, and we weren't far from Pisgah National Forrest. We had a great time.

Dave and I bought this cabin strictly for a get away. We retired and loved the area so much we ended up relocating here permanently. We built a home right next door to the cabin that we live in year around so if you need assistance we are next door. The houses are separated by 100yards making the property private for all guests. In the summer, foliage is abundant and blocks each house completely!

We lived in New Orleans for 28 years and decided to find a small get a way from the summer heat, hurricane season and to view the fall foliage. We looked in North Carolina and decided on a subdivision which offers us a gated community for security especially when we were 600 miles away from the property.

You would not have to leave the area except for grocery shopping if you want to take advantage of peace and quiet and just enjoy nature. We are located at the end of a long street making traffic almost non existent. We have hiking, waterfalls, fishing, swimming, clubhouse, golf course, tennis, pickleball, playground, small beach at one of the parks on the lake, boating, picnicking etc. Swimming is allowed in all for lakes. A fishing license is required but children under 16 aren’t required to do so. Please call us when obtaining a license, 864-354-1702 (Susan’s cell)
