The Masthope Mountain Guesthouse is a unique vacation home with a breathtaking view of a wooded backyard with a pond. Nestled in the 4-season Masthope Mountain Community, our three level house is a 3BR, 2BA comfy home for 8-9 people to gather, enjoy the amenities, play games, watch movies by a fireplace and explore the outdoors.
Amenities abound within 5 min: lake, beach, 2 pools, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, restaurant & bar. We are within a 10 min. drive from a luxury spa and a winery.

The Masthope Mountain Community is a 2.5 hour drive from NYC and 3.5 from Philly. It is nestled in the Northeast Poconos, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River area. There are 1,700 single family homes with a mix of full-time and part-time residents. The MMC offers many amenities such as a boat friendly lake with a beach, a ski and tubing mountain, hiking trails, two large pools, fitness center, trail horseback riding, tennis and pickleball courts, Summit restaurant, bar at the lodge, a small market for sandwiches and basic needs and so much more! We'll assign you a temporary entry code for the front door smart lock. The house has a 36 inch wide by 6 feet ramp for easy access. There's also a second door for ground level entry.

Indoors:
Enjoy a newly renovated 3 level house with 3BR, 2 bath, rec room, fully stocked kitchen.
Bedroom 1 on the main floor: King bed
Bedroom 2 "The Pier Room" on 2nd floor: King bed
Bedroom 3 "Exploration Room" on 2nd floor: Bunk with a twin over a full + twin trundle bed. The room is large therefore we squeed in another Queen bed.
We can easily accommodate 8-10 people depending on sleeping arrangements. The large windows and the elevated deck with glass railing will let you absorb nature and help destress you.
Open floor plan that allows everyone in the kitchen and living room to enjoy the wood burning fireplace.
3 Season Room: with fresh pine walls. This is another sweet spot to enjoy a book or a favorite beverage with your friends and family.
Rec Room: The fun filled, ground level, recreation room to play ping-pong, pool, foosball, darts, board games and watch movies on a large screen TV.
The Nook: a unique child friendly nook where they like to hide and switch the LED light colors.
Outdoors: Among others, our abundant property amenities are:

Masthope Amenities:
The Masthope Mountain Community amenities will make you feel like you are in a resort. Daily renters amenity passes must be purchased at the POC office - $10 per person for the use of the two pools, beach access at the lake with paddle boats and kayaks, fitness center, mini golf and horseback riding. Please note that certain restrictions apply for Holiday weekends. In the winter, lift tickets for skiing, snowboarding and tubing must be purchased separately.
You will be within a 5 min. drive from the Lodge where there's The Summit restaurant with a large bar, an arcade and the Marketplace for sandwiches and more. Next to the Lodge is our Pool Complex which has two pools. One has slides and a splash pad for children. The Community also has a fitness center, horse stables with a petting zoo, park by the Delaware River, basketball, volleyball, tennis and pickleball courts, mini golf, bocci ball, shuffleboard just to name a few. You will need a car to get around. You will be sharing the community's roads with ATV, UTVs, Golf carts. Speed limit is 25 mph.
We have a large driveway however guests can only park a max. of 4 cars during the night. This is mandated by our Community and Township ordinance. No street parking.
There is no central air conditioning however, there's one powerful unit for the main floor open space, a window unit in each bedroom and ceiling fans in each room. Open windows can sometimes work wonders due to the breeze coming from the pond.
For security reasons, while the house is vacant, there are two exterior security cameras.
For the indoor fireplace and firepit, we supply a limited amount of wood. Resources to purchase additional wood are listed in the Guestbook. Please note that local fire bans can be mandated by our local fire dept. We will inform you ahead of time if applicable.
