Wonderful stay in Ko Olina

We had an amazing stay in Ko Olina! The condo was great and the property was amazing - multiple pools and hot tubs and right by the beach. Beach was never crowded and the condo came with beach supplies (chairs, toys for kids, boogie boards) and a collapsible wagon to make it easy to get everything to the beach. And to end each day there were amazing sunset views from the condo’s lanai. We’d definitely stay again!!

Very good!!

Great spacious villa. Resort is fantastic in an excellent location. Check-in and check-out were easy. Parking was the only issue. Do not rent a large car and if you do be sure to let them know so you get a parking space that will fit your car. They are very strict with the parking. We got a few calls about the wheels on the lines, or a window left cracked open. They gave us a compact space for a full-size car. If you plan to stay in the area, you won't need a car. The location is great for taking walks to restaurants, local shopping and of course the beach. Parking issues aside, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing View and Location

The Ko Olina area of Oahu is beautiful and this unit provided the most affordable, convenient and spacious option if you want to stay there. I appreciated the layout, space, having a very efficient kitchen and the property grounds are also very well kept. The unit itself is older than you would think based on the photos, but I would still rent there again in a heartbeat. One major disappointment is the quality of the cleaning. The shower doors/toilets need a good scrub down (could be done with the right products), there were easily wipeable dirt marks around all the light switches and walls, and there was someone else' s hair in the shower drain. If I ignored all of that it was a wonderful unit, even with it showing signs of age. The view is far better than captured in any of the photos and was amazing to wake up to (even with the unfortunate dry vacant lot next door). The beach items available to use were so helpful and in good condition. Bring your own bathing toiletries as they supplied very little for our party of 5 for 6 nights. They did supply adequate dishwasher and laundry detergent, which I appreciated! Also the host and property managers were very responsive.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Ko Olina Villas Resort, and have nothing but positive things to say about the resort. The challenge is to find the right unit to stay in that suits your needs. Below is for the unit, not the resort. Pros: easy check-in, quick response time with host, responsive property manager, great views (9th floor) - you pay more the higher you go up, but felt 9th floor was high enough to get the amazing views without paying premium penthouse rates for a higher floor, well-stocked with pack and play, wagon (!!), and beach gear - sand toys, boogie boards, snorkel gear. Overall unit is as described in listing and photos. Book with confidence. Below are neutral observations, none are deal breakers, and still giving 5-stars overall, but sharing if it helps others when deciding between listings, kitchen has all the essentials you'll need - but did not carry any of the "extras" (e.g. no kid friendly plates/utensils, no blender, only 1 cutting board (that I could find), no indoor vs. outdoor lanai friendly plate settings). There also wasn't a "welcome basket" - we had no coffee the next day, so would recommend picking up coffee and bottled water prior to checking in (if you're like us and don't plan on leaving the first day after traveling all day), otherwise you might need to make a run last minute.

Ko Olina Family Reunion

We enjoyed our stay at KoOlina. This was the 3rd time we stayed here while visiting my husband’s family on Oahu. The 6 and 10 year old particularly enjoyed the ponds and lagoons. We adults appreciated the safe and beautiful environment. Shane, our property mgr was most helpful from arrival to departure.

Amazing location!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will be back. We've stayed in this area many times, mostly at the Marriott or Four Seasons, and very much wanted a higher end rental apartment with quiet pools. We definitely found that here. The unit was great - plenty of room for six people and the pullout sofa was in the dining room area so you could leave it out without compromising the living room. The parking situation was fantastic and I really enjoyed having an assigned stall for the stay. The kitchen was lovely and there was everything you could possibly need during your stay. We spent many days and nights looking out at the ocean from the amazing lanai. I can't recommend this place enough. Book it now. :) Note: It looks like this property was not on the rental market for a bit (many things were new - including pots, pans, beach gear, etc.). Don't be alarmed that there aren't many reviews over the past few years - it looks like the owners may have used it for other purposes. It was a legitimate rental and an amazing experience!

Great Hawaiian Vacation Home!

The condo is very well appointed and well stocked with quality cookware, the condo itself is well finished in a pleasing and relaxing style. The lānai is spectacular! We made poke bowls with fresh caught aku and had a wonderful evening watching the sunset over the Pacific. A great location and a great space, all which helped to combine into a great vacation!

Beach Villas review

Staff were friendly, property was beautiful ,safe and clean. View was amazing. Pool and lagoon were awesome, close to beaches and restaurants. Only concern was washing machine didn’t work. However, response to service request was quick. Initial amenities provided upon arrival which was great after a long day of travel.

Beautiful, quiet, would stay again.

2nd time staying in this condo. Love it. Beautiful views, pictures online are accurate. All the comforts of home. Much quieter end of the island. No hustle and bustle of Waikiki area. Great pools, walking, beach area, Costco, grocery, golf all nearby. Love it here and will hopefully come back again.

Exceptional Property

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Mike’s property. We love it. Comfortable beds, lovely amenities. The view from the lanai is spectacular. Easy access from HNL. All the activities at Ko Olina are close by. Mike responds quickly to any questions you might have. Highly recommend.

Perfect for families

This location is perfect for families. The nearby restaurants and shops are convenient but expensive. We traveled into Kapolei for dining and groceries. Wonderful pool and beachfront. Quiet and peaceful. Owner was easy to communicate with. Location is central to the island. My only complaint is the living room is not comfortable. There is really only one comfortable seat you can watch tv from. There is only seating for 4. Again, only one seat that is comfortable and has a good tv view. We did not spend much time at the rental but in the evenings it was a problem.

Loved the property and the amenities! I would suggest to maybe add clearer instructions in the property notebook i.e. how to turn on the lights, how to use the appliances, etc. as the orientation was lacking in these departments. I would also add that the introduction be more comprehensible regarding the elevators as it is confusing first go-around which one to get in! But overall, we loved the beautiful complex and the proximity to all conveniences! We'll be back!

Perfect view and perfect villa

im so glad it had snorkel equipment in the villa! saved us a trip and about $50. Perfect location. Best Lagoon out of any nearby resort and so much more. Mike was great to deal with and the location was seriously perfect. Best Honeymoon ever.

Clean, convenient and cozy place with great view and awesome location for staying with kids.

The property is great, with ample room, good furniture with modern appliances. My litmus test for how good the property is whether the pots are scratched and weather knives are dull (I bring my own). The knives were sharp and pots were in good condition. On top of that we found beach toys for the kids and even snorkeling gear and foam boards which came in handy. We had one issue with dishwasher and the property manager sent us a technician very quickly. We also asked for a step stool and we got one the same day. There are a couple of reasons for giving 4 stars only. I found the shower heads to be very inconvenient (you can't point them down much so, it was very hard to wash the kids. At the moment there is a pool reconstruction going on until end of December and it can be distracting in the middle of the day when the kids are napping. I would recommend this property and would stay here again next time.

50th wedding anniversary celebration

We rented 2 side by side condos from Mike for our family of 10. It was perfect! We scattered all over the island during the day, but gathered in the 3 bedroom condo for meals, games and sharing the days experiences. This complex is beyond beautiful, we loved the Luau at the Marriott, we loved everything about the trip!

Family getaway

We were traveling with several families that are vacation club members of nearby resorts so we wanted to find something very close. The Beach Villas couldn’t be any closer. The nice thing is it’s the quietest place in the entire area. So if you are looking for relaxation, this is the place. The unit was equipped with all of the essentials to get you started. Depending on how long you stay and on your group, you will need to go out for more supplies. The spare room closet is filled with swim and beach toys and even a small ice chest to use while out and about. The kitchen is left with an assortment of spices so at least you don’t have to buy every little thing if you want to cook. The best thing of all is the view. Once you open up to the balcony, you’ll. Want to sit out there day and night. Even with the warm weather you get a nice breeze. Watching the waves and boats was wonderful. If I ever come back to this area, I will definitely want to stay here again.

This villa holds so many amazing memories. This was my family's vacation home when we would come visit Hawaii. I would spend all day going back and forth between the lagoon and pool. We would finally come upstairs for dinner while we watched the beautiful sunset right from our cozy kitchen. I moved to Hawai'i at 15 and lived at this condo while I attended high school where I would take advantage of the fitness center and jacuzzi while I played high school volleyball. I then became a surf instructor and taught people how to surf from a beach thats only 15 minutes away! I recently just had a baby and spent the first 8 weeks at this condo with her. We went on morning walks and enjoyed the live music on the weekends. It is such a beautiful place with so much to do, and I hope you create life-long memories here just as I did.

It is peaceful with world class amenities. Beautiful pools, koi pond, ocean front walking path, beach, workout facilities, sauna, hot tub, beach bar.
