Nestled on a scenic 1-acre lot, there’s ample space for kids to explore, and the driveway can accommodate boats.

Night Bus Schedule - Every Hour

The shuttle runs late on night we operate Twilight Skiing: Daily December 26-31. Fridays & Saturdays only January 5 - March 2, 2024. (Additional Twilight skiing nights: January 14, 2023 , and February 18, 2024.)

- 8:00pm - last bus up from Red Barn
- 8:30pm - last bus down from Village

The home is located at the base of Schweitzer Ski Resort in Sandpoint Idaho. Schweitzer's free shuttle parking lot is located right across the street.
Guests have access to the entire property.
Free Shuttle to Schweitzer: The Sandpoint Sanctuary is conveniently situated across the street from Schweitzer Mountain Resort’s winter shuttle parking lot, known as 'The Red Barn.' Guests can easily stroll across, catch a shuttle, and reach Schweitzer without the need to drive up the hill. The shuttle service also provides a hassle-free return journey from the mountain. Important: Please be aware of the potential for train noise at the Sandpoint Sanctuary. The Sandpoint area is a hub for train activity, and the train tracks are situated between the home and Schweitzer's Red Barn winter shuttle parking lot. It's important to note that the sound of trains can be heard. To address this, sound machines have been thoughtfully provided in every room by the homeowners to mitigate the potential for noise."

At HAVEN we value the significance of providing clear information about a vacation home's layout to guests during their search and stay. Below, we've structured the descriptions in a way that takes you through the home, starting from the main entry and concluding in the upstairs guestroom.

1st Floor (Downstairs):

- Entry: Upon Entry, you will be greeted by a staircase leading to the second floor and to your left, the kitchen and dining room. On the other side of the stairs on the first floor is Guestroom 1 and 2, bathroom 1 and the laundry closet.

- Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare a meal in. This includes a fridge, freezer, microwave, gas oven/range, dishwasher. For the coffee lovers, this home offers a drip coffee maker, pour over style and French press.

- Dining Area: Gather around for good food and conversation at the dining table, which can accommodate 8 guests, complemented by 2 additional barstools at the kitchen counter. There is also a wood-burning stove to create that ambiance of warmth during colder evenings, making every gathering a cozy and memorable experience for all. Please note that the wood-burning stove is not the primary source of heat.

- Living Room: Discover the focal point of the home in this inviting living room. Kick back on the spacious sectional sofa next to the cozy gas fireplace, immersing yourself in entertainment on the generous big-screen TV. Engage in some friendly banter at the game table, accommodating 4 guests, and create cherished moments of shared laughter in this comfortable and welcoming space.

- Guestroom 1: Ideal for two guests, this room features a queen-size bed, side tables, lamps, sound machine and a closet.

- Laundry Closet: Experience convenience with our fully equipped laundry closet, boasting a washer, dryer, and all the essentials you’ll need for effortless cleaning during your stay.

- Bathroom 1: Unwind in our common area full bathroom featuring a shower/tub combination, single vanity sink, toilet, and plenty of bathroom storage. Towels and bathroom amenities are provided for your stay.

- Guestroom 2: Ideal for 2 guests, sink into the comfort of a queen-size bed and catch up on your favorite shows in the attached media room. Stay warm or cool and comfortable with the split system ac/heater.

2nd Floor (Upstairs):

- Guestroom 3 (Master Bedroom): Escape to this generously sized room, offering a comfortable couch, a king-size bed, a smart TV, a closet, a private deck, a dining area, and a kitchenette. Please be aware that the master bedroom DOES NOT have its own en-suite bathroom; however, bathroom 2 is located just outside the bedroom door. Guestrooms 3 and 4 share the upstairs full bathroom for convenience.

- Bathroom 2: Nestled between guestrooms 3 and 4, this complete bathroom features a single vanity sink, toilet, and a convenient shower/tub combination. Your stay is enhanced with the provision of towels and essential bathroom amenities, ensuring a comfortable and well-equipped experience.

- Guestroom 4: Grant the little ones their exclusive haven in this spacious room designed for four, featuring two twin beds and an additional twin bunk bed. Complete with ample clothing storage, a selection of books, and entertaining games, this room caters to the kids' every need. Ensure their comfort year-round with the versatile split-system AC/heater, creating a cozy and enjoyable retreat for the young adventurers.

Parking:

- Parking: Enjoy the convenience of two designated spots in the garage, and additional parking spaces on the driveway. The driveway can also accommodate a boat trailer.

- Garage: Accommodates up to two vehicles, providing a spacious haven to shield your car from overnight snow and summer heat. Beyond parking, the generous garage serves as an ideal storage space for winter gear after a day on the mountain. Additionally, there's ample room to store bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards during the warmer summer months.
