This was our first time to PDC and had such a fun trip. May return next year at the same time.

Good experience. The property manager Luciano was great with his communication with me. The condo was so perfect for our group- 3 primary bedrooms with each having its own private bathrooms. Loved the first floor unit. So convenient and the location and proximity to 5th Avenue was superb. Would definitely love to rent this unit again.

Enjoyable family trip

For the most part we were very pleased with the property and our experience renting it for 10 days. There are many great things I could list, including plenty of space in the condo, very close pool access, elevator access to parking etc. *** A few minor concerns are as follows. *** The staff member who checked us into the property tried to get me to pay him cash for a security deposit even though the deposit had already been charged to my credit card. I've visited Mexico nearly 20 times and have learned to be cautious in these scenarios. I politely declined to pay and he did not push the issue. *** The laundry machine did not work although it was nearly new. Eventually the staff had a maintenance person come and fix it. It had never been set up properly from when it was unpackaged from the box. By the time it was repaired, we had already paid someone to do our laundry separately so we did not get to use them equipment to find out if it worked. *** If you have your own vehicle, as we did, the process for getting into the underground parking is inefficient. You have to pull into the entrance ramp and then send somebody walking down the sidewalk and inside the lobby to ask them to open it for you. We came and went many times throughout our 10 days, so this was very frustrating after a while. *** Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would recommend it.

Just be careful

The place is nice, the room is also very pretty. The issue was that the room was dirty. The showers had hair strands and the trash cans had toilet paper inside. Our towels were dirty with stains. Our contract said that there would be people cleaning daily and it did not happen. Also be careful with your personal stuff. They are not aware at the lobby of who comes in and out and because of that someone stole one of our iPhones in the pool area, luckily we caught her on time and she returned the phone. There is no Tupperware, no trash bags and please check your bedsheets before going to bed. It was just our experience, just watch out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great stay. Location was very close to town. Beds were a bit hard. We asked for a toilet to be serviced, and no one ever came. When we checked in to the unit I noticed the water container was leaking and was told it would be replaced. They didn't come and I had to call again because by the second morning the kitchen was flooded with the water that was leaking (I slipped on the water). They had to change it 2 times before it stopped leaking.

Great service by the reservations team, the pick up was perfectly coordinated to pick us up from the airport to our condo. The check in was easy and friendly. They explain all the rules to us and we had a chance to book some activities with our concierge. The follow up during the stay was effective and attentive. We received our stock of towels and trust me! the best towels we used besides some of the best hotels we stayed at,The housekeeping team did also a great job with little details that made our stay even more comfortable. The condo was well appointed with plenty of glassware, dishes, and utilities to use during our stay. Each bedroom was stocked with a safety box big enough to fit a laptop! But we felt very safe and we left money and valuables outisde the safe and nothing was missed and we felt very safe. And Karina was always very responsive and friendly to our every need. Thanks Karina and Playamoments Team!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were three unpleasant incidents during our stay. and I wrote to Karina about it. Her response does not knowledge the validity of my complaint. Nor did she apologize for the missing money. I'll try to summarize the incidents: 1) Number of towels in the apartment. There were 9, not 10 and it was suggested that my daughter who got to the apartment earlier had taken it on her walk with her. 2) The amount of 400 dollars were taken fom our apartment. The cleaning lady came to our apartment the day after she had cleaned it- she was not supposed to come that day.3.Number of towels again. I counted and recounted and there were 8 towels not 9. The head concierge came to demand thatI I sign the paper. When I refused to sign the paper the gentleman left but 15 min later he was back. I explained to him that I had not travelled so many miles and pay so much money just to be acussed of stealing a towel. He then threatened with evicting us from the apartment, That was outrageous!!!!No apologies from Karina or the head concierge for the stolen money. I would be happy to share the complete story but there is not much space here.

THE PROBLEM WAS THAT A OLD LADY STARTED SHOUTING AT MY 3 AND 4 YEAR OLD FOR APPARENTLY MAKING TO MUCH NOISE AT 7PM. WE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT TO THE RECEPTIONIST( MIGUEL), HE TOLD US THAT OUR 3 AND 4 YEAR OLD WERE MAKING TO MUCH NOISE AND THAT THE LADY WAS RIGHT TO YELL AT OUT KIDS. AND THAT WE SHOULD LEAVE IF WE DIDNT LIKE IT. THE RUDEST RECEPTIONIST I HAVE EVEY ENCOUNTERED, HE MADE US FEEL SO UNWELCOME THERE.

They would say & agree on one thing then change thier minds without notice.We arranged for a late checkout on day of departure, left my son in the room while we went last minute shopping & others went to beach, another on an excursion. They knocked on the door & told my son who was alone he had 10 minites to get everything out. That is very unprofessional! Esp when we arrnaged for a late checkout. Also we had no water one morning. The wayer heater broke & had 2 days with no hot water. Lost our deposit on an excursion, because we could not go due to repair men in our unit going in and out. We were not going to leave with people in our unit with valuables. Playa moments did not care. Then the condition of the units was bad! All faucets were corroded my son cut his foot on chipped shower tiles. The best had very old used mattresses terrinle to sleep on. Our first night went to sleep in my bed the pillows had no pillow cases on them & the sheets had a stain! I was so uncomfortable sleeping that i sleeped in pants & a hooded sweater because i did not want to touch the sheets. Disgusting. Also the listing prior to booking said washer/dryer. The dryer did not work and when reported it was never fixed. We did not pack much cause we thought we could wash and dry our clothes. We had to hang dry! For 9 ppl! Thats alot of laundry to hang.... I though i was supposed to be on vacation! The tv also had issues the volume would go up really high or go down all by itself when watching tv. Met another rental company at sabbia and thier units were 100 times better than ours. Playamoments is terrible. When we would go into the office to talk to someone they would speak spanish to each other & laugh! That's very rude. Sabbia itself was very nice. Great location to be. The pool is not heated and very cold. It was just our unit in disrepair, I would go back but not book with playamoments.

The bad was you are 6 blocks from the beach and the pool was closed for half of our stay. I'm so devided on how I feel overall . I wouldn't stay here again As you have to give a $500.00 cash deposite to stay and I don't think anyone gets out without an extra charge.

Spacious, Modern Apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented a three bed, all ensuite apartment for two weeks over Christmas 2014. We were very impressed with the apartment. It was spacious and modern with plenty of room for our extended family. The apartment was nicely decorated, had comfortable beds, good aircon and hot showers. The internet was reliable and cable TV in the living area and two bedrooms was a bonus. The apartment was cleaned regularly during our stay.The concierge service as part of the apartment was very useful in arranging transfer around the area (safe van, good driver, baby seats). The location of the apartment was great, a short walk to 5th Ave and all it's restaurants. A few negative points - We found the swimming pool and hot tub too cold to use. The kitchen did not have a dishwasher and lacked a few essential kitchen items like grater, bottle opener etc which we ended up buying and leaving for the next guests. The apartment has a combo washer/dryer which did not work well and took a really long time to wash and dry a load of clothes - up to eight hours! It's probably better to use the laundry services near by.

Amazing and unforgettable

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really nice experience, very helpful and understanding staff. We would definitely try it again when possible
