Es gibt auch eine private Terrasse an der Vorderseite des Hauses (neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett) - mit einem NEUEN Esstisch und Sitzbänken, mit Blick auf das Meer und die Wälder. ** ALLE ZIMMER, einschließlich Schlafzimmer, haben OCEAN VIEWS & Deckenventilatoren! Die oberste Etage verfügt über: ein Hauptschlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad 1/2, privates Deck mit Esstisch, Deckenventilator, Kathedralendecke und Meerblick. Die oberste Etage hat auch einen offenen Grundriss - Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Küche (neue Granittheken), alle Holzböden, Kathedralendecken und Fensterwände (herrlicher Panoramablick auf das Meer!) mit Schiebetüren zum großen Rundum-Deck. Das Deck hat eine Treppe zum grasbewachsenen Hinterhof mit vier Adirondack-Stühlen, einer Bank, einer Hängematte und einem Gasgrill. An der Seite befindet sich die Treppe zu Ihrem Privatstrand. Es gibt viel Privatsphäre und Parkplätze. Die 1. Etage - alle NEU Fliesenböden - verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer - alle mit Deckenventilatoren, auch ein Vollbad und eine Waschküche. Es gibt Schiebetüren zum Garten und Strand. Alle neuen Möbel, alle neuen Betten und weichen Matratzen! Private Warmwasserdusche im Freien mit Teelichtern. Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful location. I would just add to the description, spices and seasonings are available. Additionally, the only thing that was missing in the kitchen was a colander, but besides that 10 out of 10.

Fabulous location!

My husband and two young adult daughters had a wonderful week of playing on the beach with our dogs, swimming with our dogs, enjoying sunrises and sunsets over the water. It was absolutely beautiful and Annette was gracious even when I screwed up where I left keys upon exiting. We can’t wait to go back!

We had such an amazing time at Nina's! The sunset views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location is just perfect. You get the privacy you want, and it's only a 15-20 minute drive to Vineyard Haven, making it super convenient to get to restaurants and shops. The house was stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed, and the seamless connection from the living room to the outdoor deck was just perfect. Driving down the long dirt road with beautiful scenery and then being greeted by the stunning view of the ocean and Elizabeth's Island was such an exciting experience. I highly recommend paying a visit, even if it's just for a weekend - it's incredibly relaxing!

Magical sunset views from the deck !

We stayed at this little slice of heaven for 3 nights during the Memorial Day weekend , the property is a perfect get away for people looking solicitude and mesmerizing sunset views , we enjoyed the sunset every evening , did some grilling and just chilled on the deck star gazing as the sky was very clear during our stay . The property is perfect for 2 families, the kitchen is small but there is plenty of utensils for a quick meal.

Each day: coffee on the deck overlooking the spectacular water view, a hike through the community which felt like a state park, trip into town for a bike ride, shopping, and grab the daily catch at the Net Result, back for time on the private beach and a glass of wine. we had a wonderful stay. Its everything described and more. So much attention to detail .The home is so obviously loved and well cared for. I visited the vineyard in my early teens during a family retreat. I was unable to reenact it until recently. My wife and I came with our 2 boys and brides (early thirties) and baby each (5 and 2 years old).......and our standard poodle. It was a glorious time 1-heed the recommendation of the host re ; linen service 2-heed the recommendation of the host regarding ferry arrangements - we booked day they went on sale ..first day permitted ....in winter as i recall 3-no dishwasher -use "green responsible" disposables 4-treat as if your own ...such that you may be permitted a return visit take pictures ...leave only footprints in the sand great stay .....could not have been better or more enjoyable

Fantastic way to unwind and recharge

Hello! My family (two parents, 1 5-year old, and a couple) stayed at David and Nina’s home. Out stay was fantastic as we wanted to spend some quality time with our family and create new memories. David and Nina were so wonderful to talk to and communicate with. They thought of so many things you might ask or need for a beach trip. Their thoughtfulness made me think I was home with my family. At the end of our trip, we wanted a few more days here. The location is amazing, the beach is energizing, and the island has so many fun things to do. Would highly recommend folks stay here here.

Serenity Awaits

Positives: Incredible views of ocean, sunrise and sunsets! Remote location offers seclusion, peace and serenity! Private beach, and for an older home, the place is well maintained and very clean. Negatives: Due to the tiny kitchen and only one full bath on the lower floor, I don't think this would be a place suitable for large groups. Weak water pressure - showering was a bit of challenge. Upon arrival, keys were jammed into lockbox, and it took a call to owner to figure out how to get out. Overall, if your not looking for a fancy, big place, this rental affords a great place to relax and take in the beautiful scenery, and puts you with in a short drive of key Vinyard towns and attractions.

Location of the house was very remote on the island through the woods but beautiful beautiful private beach so completely worth it. House has been lovingly taken care of and updated by the owners and we thank them for allowing us to stay. Everything we needed was made available . We provided our linens and towels. Initial listing was for more than one full bathroom I thought but maybe we were mistaken. Actually had one full bathroom and one half bath but that was no problem for our family. We all shared just fine. Will always remember our time on the island.

Loved our stay in Lower Makonikey

We absolutely loved the property.. the views, the beach, the deck etc were spectacular. It was perfect for my husband and me and our 2 adults daughters and their partners. We managed better than expected with the 1 bath due to the great outside shower. The only tough part was the very small kitchen area. But we definitely made the best of it and cooked 3-4 meals there. We would absolutely love to stay there again in the future.
