Der Saranac-See ist ein ganzjähriges Resort mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten. Dieses Haus befindet sich in perfekter Lage, 1,6 km von den Bars und Restaurants in der Innenstadt von Saranac Lake entfernt und dennoch abgeschieden an einer ruhigen Privatstraße. Von der Unterkunft sind keine Nachbarn zu sehen. 1,6 km von der Bootsrampe Lake Flower, 1,6 km von der Innenstadt von Saranac Lake, 4,8 km von Mt. Pisgah, 11 km von Lake Placid & Olympic Village, 30 km von Whiteface Mountain, Memorial Drive und North Pole Santa's Village entfernt. Es gibt Strände, Bootsrampen, Kajak, Wanderwege, Snowtubing, Motorschlitten, X-Country-Ski in der Nähe. In Lake Placid gibt es auch eine Sprungschanze, eine Bobbahn und öffentliches Eislaufen. Bootsverleih in der Nähe für totalen Genuss an der Saranac-Seenkette. Wir verfügen über 2 Kajaks und ein Kanu, die Sie im nahe gelegenen Lake Flower oder im zweiten Teich nutzen können. Dieses Blockhaus verfügt über 2 große Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss, beide mit Queensize-Betten. Ein großes Badezimmer mit Duschkabine befindet sich ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss. Auf der unteren Ebene befindet sich ein privater Eingang, ein großes 3. Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelstockbett und einem Queensize-Bett. Ein zweites Badezimmer mit Badewanne befindet sich auf der unteren Ebene. Das Zimmer auf der unteren Ebene kann eine ganze Familie alleine bewältigen. Ein offenes Wohnzimmer mit einem schönen Kamin aus Kunststein hält Sie nachts warm. Ausziehbarer Pub-Esstisch für 8 Personen und eine voll ausgestattete, frisch renovierte Küche. Eine Ausziehcouch befindet sich im Wohnzimmer. An der Seite ist eine abgeschirmte Veranda und ein Achterdeck mit einem Terrassentisch / Stühlen und Edelstahl-Gasgrill. (Propan zur Verfügung gestellt). Im Nebenhof befindet sich eine brandneue Terrasse / Feuerstelle mit Adirondack-Stühlen zum Genießen eines Lagerfeuers und Entspannen. Waschmaschine / Trockner ist vorhanden. Kostenloses Highspeed-WLAN zur Verfügung gestellt. Zustellbett und Luftmatratze. 50 'HD-Fernseher im Wohnzimmer und 32 "LED-Fernseher im Erdgeschoss. Thanksgiving in Saranac Lake

This is our second stay at the house. It is cozy, warm, and inviting and has a perfect location. Tucked away under the pines but minutes from town. And we had snow!! A wonderful holiday.

We have stayed in this home 3 times now and every year we love it. It just feels like home. Always clean and always ready for us to stay. Jason is so helpful and couldnt ask for a more responsive property manager. From the beautiful property and all the pretty trees. My dog also loved roaming around and playing with the girls in the snow. As usual cant wait to come back next year.

Beautiful and Spacious home

The house as a whole, was very clean and well appointed. The main bathroom was very nice. Everything needed for an awesome family stay was there. From, the kitchen which had most anything needed for cooking. The outside layout was great. The fire pit for s'mores was really nice. They actually had all the supplies for s'mores too, which was a surprise. The deck outside, and enclosed porch was great too. We had such a restful stay, and would certainly return.

Family reunion

This cozy home in the woods provided the perfect setting for our family reunion. The large dining table set the place for warm family gatherings. With the house set back a comfortable distance from the road, we could be assured that our young grandchildren would be safe too. Last, the house is located in a convenient location enabling us to easily take advantage of the Adirondack setting.

Great Experience!

Completely private well maintained home located right outside of Saranac Lake and 10-15 minutes from Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to bring our dogs which was a huge plus. Our host communicated well the property was nicer than even described. We made use of the gorgeous fireplace anytime we weren't enjoying the many outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend this property and host and we will look to book again in the future!

The property had a log cabin feel in a cottage style home. Very quiet neighborhood with privacy. Location was fantastic. 15 minutes to Lake Placid and 5 minutes to the center of the town of Saranac Lake. Ample accommodations if you want the deep woods cabin feel without being away from civilization. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity presented itself!

House in the woods

We are hikers so we are looking for a place to lay our head, shower and make some food and cold drinks or hot. Beautiful house and well stocked. We tried using the fire pit but the bugs were bad and the citronella candles were all gone so we just retreated inside for drinks and playing cards. Nice holiday get-away!

My husband and I took our parents away to boat in the Saranac Lake region. The weather was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay at this home - where it was easy to prepare big breakfasts before setting off on our adventures for the day! We did not take advantage of the fireplace (not needed) nor the outdoor firepit - but that was due to the presence of black flies and mosquitoes! They too, it seems , were enjoying the exceptionally warm weather that weekend! Great home - provided all we needed for a relaxing get-away!

Cozy cabin in the woods

Highly recommend this property for a stay in the Lake Placid region. Communication with homeowner was prompt and clear, and check in was a breeze! The cabin was spotlessly clean, very cozy, warm and welcoming. The decor matched the surroundings and gave the house an upscale, rustic feel. All the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, glassware, cookware, etc. you could possible need. There were even spices available in the cabinet! The wood burning stove/fireplace was great, adding warmth and charm to the living area. Some wood was provided by the homeowner...and more wood was easily available to purchase at nearby stores. The location was convenient to virtually all of the attractions in the area, with drive times generally less than 15 minutes. 5 STARS+++

This welcoming log home is a vacation of its own!

This log home was one of the highlights of our very enjoyable week long stay in Saranac Lake. It has such natural, rustic beauty. The views of the woods outside each window add to its inside beauty and peace. There were 6 adults, 2 toddlers and everyone had room to spread out! The very large lower level bedroom was perfect for my daughter's family of four at the end of the day. Her two toddlers (4 & 2 yrs) had loads of fun inside and outside of the spacious, clean, well kept home. After our daily Adirondack adventures, we enjoyed returning to its comfort and peace. Grocery stores and restaurants were not far. We would love to return to this peaceful log home!

This is a very comfortable home that can accommodate a large family. Beautiful private area yet so close to town. As Neil Peart says, the best Adirondack cabins have a warm fireplace and good internet. We have both.
