Deerwood Station Guest Cabin ist eine schöne neue Hütte am Deerwood Ranch entfernt. Die Hütte liegt am Ufer des Middle Fork des Kleinen Laramie River. Unsere Gäste können sich einfach nur entspannen auf der Terrasse und genießen Sie die Landschaft, oder sie auf dem Grundstück oder Langlaufloipe im Winter wandern und angeln kann. Die Ranch ist ein Wild Horse Eco-Sanctuary so wild horse Betrachtung zur Verfügung. Einer privaten Ranch Tour kann bei Verfügbarkeit berücksichtigt werden. Die Tour dauert etwa 1. 5-2 Uhr und wird eine zusätzliche Gebühr. Die Kabine bietet Platz für bis zu sieben Personen.

Another great stay

We first visited in 2022 and have come every spring break since to ski with the kids. We always have a great time. The cabin is very well stocked and a cozy place to relax. Our kids love the cabin and love seeing all the horses on the road in.

The perfect, tranquil getaway

This was our second time staying at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. We are a family of 5, with kids ages 11, 9 and 4, and there was enough room for all of us. We enjoyed the serene beauty around us and seeing the wild horses as we came in and out of the property. It’s quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives. The hosts are great to work with and respond to any communication promptly. We would love to stay again if we come out this way in the future.

Mountain getaway and so much more!

My daughter and I came to go skiing for the long weekend and this cabin was in the right location, so we reserved it. We did not expect the cabin experience to be equally as amazing as the skiing! It is a gem in a beautiful, natural location! The fire in the stove greeted us upon each arrival. It was cozy and relaxing, and we enjoyed our time in the cabin as much as our time on the slopes! The views of the horses also completely took our breath away! Jana and Rich were responsive and attentive hosts. They are good communicators and quickly helped us resolve any problems or concerns we had. We truly hope to come back here again and maybe even stay longer!

Magical

Absolute heaven on earth. This lil slice was just what we needed. Although it was arctic temps…the property was seriously magical. The 350 head of wild horses really put me in my happy place. Absolutely incredible. We planned to go into town to watch the Bronco game…yet loved the absolute coziness of the cabin that we opted to stay in and watch. So happy we did. Stsnding on the back porch made me feel like I was in 1800 old west. The bed was super comfy. Everything you need and was super clean. We will be back to experience another season here. Authentic Wyoming!

What a comfortable cabin nestled into a beautiful horse sanctuary rimmed by mountains on all sides. Simply breathtaking. We visited after Christmas and totally enjoyed the snow (coming from the Sandhills of North Carolina), but imagine the rushing stream - just outside the cabin’s patio - to be amazing to sit beside in milder weather and also to fly fish in the season. We drove up to Snowy Range and hiked in the Medicine Bow National Forest - gorgeous!Sweet Melissa’s in Laramie is delicious - we ate there twice, and the Laramie Penitentiary is worth visiting. Getting in/out of the house and communicating w the owners was easy. Thanks for a great experience!

A happy place!

This beautiful cabin is located on a wild horse sanctuary. You couldn’t ask for a better location, because it’s also a sanctuary for the soul. Rich and Jana are gracious hosts. The cabin has all the comforts of home and is so nicely decorated. The peace and tranquility will soothe your senses.

Reset Ranch

A beautiful retreat to reset, and cleanse, body and mind. Just sitting on the back deck listening to The Little Laramie River and breathing clean, sweet smelling air was rejuvenating. And the rainbow show after early evening showers was spectacular!

Beautiful setting!

Loved this place for it's beauty and serenity. The back deck is so relaxing with the sound of the creek. We enjoyed the firepit every evening and ate hot dogs and s'mores. Took many walks to see the wild mustangs in the fields.

Dream vacation

My husband and I have been married for 50+ years. We met and married in Wyoming, and our first daughter was born there. We've spoken about taking a trip back, but this was the first time we've returned since moving to Indiana to be near family. We opted to stay in the Laramie area over where we lived in Cheyenne since we wanted a quiet area to stay and we were returning during Cheyenne Frontier Days. We chose Deerwood Station based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! Beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Jana did her best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She is the dream hostess and we can't say enough good about our experience there! We highly recommend a trip here if you visit Wyoming. Exceptional in every way!

I could be afraid to share a review because of how amazing this cabin is and then people will flock, and then I’ll be hard pressed to get on the calendar ever again. Jana and Rich are incredible. The guest books in the cabin tell the same story over and over and over again. Just so peaceful, quiet, serene, clean, completely outfitted, and a place I will return to!!! A real gem

Absolutely terrific cabin...well-stocked with lovely amenities and very comfortable. The wild horse tour was fantastic but one could just as easily have a great time sitting on the porch and watching the river roll by. It's not hard to get to Laramie to stock up on supplies but you might want to swing by the Safeway there before heading out to the property.

very peaceful, the running creek behind the cabin was great to just watch and listen to. The horse tour is a must, not only the exquisite horse but Rich's talks will keep you laughing. a very rewarding part of our vacation. plus there were happy dogs just waiting to be petted.

This was our 6th time at the Deerwood and it never disappoints. The quiet and serenity is always so nice. Rich and Jana are wonderful hosts and the wild horse tour is the best! If you want to learn about truly what the ranch life involves, this is the place.

Just What We Needed

What a fantastic weekend getaway. We couldn't have been more impressed with this property and our stay. Everything was clean and felt modern for a rustic cabin. Our stay was very peaceful and we mainly hung around the cabin and played board games and soaked in the views. The amenities were nice and we grilled some steaks on the barbecue grill. Highly recommend!

We have lived on the ranch for 39. We are lucky enough to get to own the family ranch. We have three kids who help us out whenever possible. The ranch is a family venture! The Deerwood Ranch is now a Wild Horse Eco-Sanctuary. Wild Horse viewing is available.

The Deerwood Ranch has been in our family since 1982. The Centennial Valley is one of the most scenic landscapes we have ever seen. Falling in love with this country is easy to do!

While staying at the cabin our guests can walk, hike, fish, take a ranch tour, mountain bike, cross country ski and enjoy their beautiful mountain surroundings. Photographers will be thrilled with the photo opportunities. We have a firepit in the yard so campfires are enjoyed by many. The cabin sits on the bank of the Middle Fork of the Little Laramie River. Let the sounds of the river lull you to sleep at night with your window open to breathe the fresh mountain air. As of October, 2012 we are a wild horse eco-sanctuary. Guests can enjoy viewing the horses, from a distance and seeing them in their natural surroundings. We also have deer, elk, antelope, moose, fox, coyotes and other animals that might be seen while out sightseeing. if you are staying at the cabin May-September we do offer wild horse tours.
