We are an extended family of 4 couples we stayed here for a simple weekend.
It really wasn't long enough. I'd recommend a long weekend.
We loved it and will endeavor to return and do it all over again.
The house is quaint and rustic. The setting is rural, yet very convenient to the wineries and an easy drive into town for shopping.
It has 1 master bedroom with private bath, 3 double bedrooms with a shared bath between them, and a renovated outhouse building with a small bedroom and private bath. The shared bath between 3 couples was fine for us, since we are all family. But if you had a group of friends it might be a little awkward and inconvenient. The outhouse bedroom is tiny with low ceiling, but very cozy. I stayed there and loved it.
The courtyard has a fire pit, if weather is cool bring your own wood. It was a lovely place to sip wine and chat and play games till all hours of the night.
Inside the house is a wood burning fireplace too. BYO wood. On the patio is a gas grill with a propane tank available.
The house has a standard full kitchen, and accessories provided are superior to the average VRBO. They had a pantry full of spices, tin foil, etc. Don’t steal all of their spices, but it was handy if you need a pinch of oregano or cinnamon.
Everything was in working order, no complaints. Be sure to use Google maps to find it as the turn off road is unmarked and very small. There are photogenic cows in the pasture up front.
The owner Adriana was quick and thoughtful in replies.
