The Flying Squirrel Getaway

Flying Squirrel Getaway has everything you need to create lasting memories. Breathe in the cool mountain air from the deck and watch the wildlife stroll by. Our 1100sqft newly remodeled cabin is nestled quietly among the trees over looking the meadow, you may even get a chance to watch the private planes land! The perfect place for you to enjoy ATV rides, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding and fishing. Just relax by the fireplace or watch the stars from the deck!

The space:
This newly remodeled and rustic cabin offers: -1st Floor has an open living space (kitchen, eat-in bar, living area, bedroom) w/ a wood stove, TV, 3/4 bath and a bedroom with a king sized bed.
-2nd Floor has a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and a loft w/ 2 twin beds

Guest access:
Enjoy all the area has to offer near Panguitch Lake, Aspen Mirror Pond or Navajo Lake. Visit the area's beautiful national and state parks. Zion NP, Bryce Canyon or Escalante Grand Staircase are all day adventures. A little closer to "home base" you can explore Mammoth Caves, go horseback riding (summer months) or visit Cedar Breaks National Monument. Regardless of your activity level, enjoy the fresh mountain air and amazing stars that make this area such a natural beauty. The cabin is only a 10 minute drive from the main village of Duck Creek.

Welcome to The Flying Squirrel Getaway. Here are some rules you need know about during your visit. Breaking these rules may result in immediate termination of your stay with no refunds.

All toiletries, paper towels, clean towels, clean blankets, laundry detergent, cleaning products, coffee, tea, snacks, breakfast food items condiments and fire wood are welcome items which will not be replenished during your stay.

⚠️⚠️Trash: Pack it in pack it out! Take ALL garbage to the dumpsters on your way out of the neighborhood. $50 Trash removal fee will be charged for any trash bags left from your stay. We recommend taking trash out any time you leave the neighborhood.

This home is only currently capable to accommodate 6 people MAXIMUM including children. Any visitors are considered guests. There is an additional charge for the 5th & 6th guest, $30 per guest, per night. Unregistered guests after 4 people will be charged $100 per person per night of all nights booked.

We are on a septic system.  Please only flush toilet paper, everything else needs to go in the waste basket. This includes "flushable items" in the waste basket!  Please do not put any grease down the drains (use paper towel and put in the trash can). 

***PARKING***
1 parking space accessible to any car in the upper part of the driveway.
1 parking space 4x4 or AWD ONLY in front of the cabin, please back down.
Please park in the designated areas. And no street parking is allowed. This property is not suitable for trailers. If you are intending to bring a trailer, please let us know for parking accommodations/suggestions. We are not responsible for any tickets/tows.

**Winter Time ONLY*** We have central heat to keep you nice and warm during the cooler months. This should be left on at all times and set to the minimum of 50F degrees when the house is unattended.

No animals allowed. Service animals are exempt and are not to be left unattended, this does not include any ESA (emotional support animals). Anyone with unapproved animals will be charged $200 per animal per stay.

WIFI is not guaranteed. We are not responsible for power outages or weather conditions. A 4x4 vehicle and chains may be required during the winter months, due to snow/ice and mud.

Late check out needs to be approved a minimum of 2 hours prior check out time. Our cleaner is on a tight schedule, for unapproved late checkouts a $50 fee will be applied for every 30 mins. After 12pm the next day will also be charged, and/or the entire next reservation, minus the next reservations cleaning fee.

Rules our guests have inspired:
-There is no guarantee that the property or home is bug, vermin and wild animal free. We live in the forest. Please do not leave the doors open.
-NO climbing on structures, trees or anything that can jeopardize your safety and/or others.
-NO Food, beverages or animals on the beds or couches.
-Furniture is to not be moved without permission.
-Fires are to be in the designated approved firepit and are not to exceed the designated area.  Fires are not to be left unattended.

Up to a $500 cleaning fee will be charged for:
Body paint, spray tanning, nail polish, glitter and smoking.
