Unfortunately we were not pleased at all with this place. You can tell the experience of the renter was not the priority of the homeowner. First some positives, the property mgt company and the location were the only positives. They were very responsive, easy checking and out. The location is about 4 blocks from a very busy public access beach but walkable. About 7-10 minutes.
What made our stay unpleasant was:
The amount of bugs in the unit. You could tell it had not been rented for a while and was not checked prior to being rented. Many alive and dead roaches and other bugs.
The AC did not function properly at night. We woke up the first night to it being 80 degrees on the first and second floor. I contacted property mgt and they had someone out within the hour. It seemed fixed but we had the same issue the second night. Woke up at 2:00am to it being 80 degrees.
The fan in the master bedroom made so much noise we couldn’t use that to satisfy it being so hot. We had to go sleep in the second bedroom with our children because that fan didn’t make noise.
The kitchen is not suited for any kind of cooking.you would have to supply EVERYTHING down to salt and pepper. So many spoons??
My 10 year old daughter leaned against the kitchen island and it moved about a foot.
Many decorations that were shown in the listing were not there as advertised except for the big furniture.
Overall a terrible experience for our family.
