New Management Company Needed
The house and pool were great.
What soured the experience for us was the management company (Andes STR). The vehicle gate pass that they sent did not work. This was needed to drive into the gated community and to get to the community pool and all the amenities. After many days and many emails back and forth in which they promised to address the issue, they never did. As a result, every time we wanted to get into the neighborhood, we had to contact someone to let us in.
Also, the house did not include any info about the home or the community. For example, if we wanted to walk outside the gated community, another code was needed to exit the gate by foot. It was not provided by the management company even after many requests. So, whenever we wanted to leave by foot we had to wait by the gate for a car to enter so we could sneak out.
We also had an issue with part of the carpet upstairs being very wet when we arrived. I contacted the management company immediately and requested someone come by and take a look. A maintenance person arrived the next day and said that the a/c had broken recently and flooded that area. I asked if they could soak up some of the water and bring a fan to speed up the drying. I was concerned that there could be mold because of the smell. She promised to bring a fan, but never did.
The dishwasher also didn’t work, but no one came to fix it.
Hopefully, the owners get a new management company.
