Best vacation

This is my second time booking this house for a family gathering. Like the first time it did not disappoint. I personally loved the hot tub, house is extra spacious and cleanliness of the property is exceptional. The host is quick to answer your messages. I give this rental 5 star's.

Best Bach Weekend Ever!

Awesome House with an amazing pool! Fast and friendly response time to any questions we had about the property! This house will NOT disappoint. We had a huge bachelorette weekend here and the house was so spacious! Huge rooms with huge beds and amazing mattresses and linens! Best choice ever!!!

Fun Thanksgiving with Family

We had a wonderful time at this amazing property. There was plenty of room for everyone and kids loved using the hot tub. Drives to Sea World and Six Flags from the house were pretty easy. The 2 ovens and gas grill made cooking for Thanksgiving much easier. Overall fun times!

Wrong address given at time of booking. Gave this address to all guests and found out day before correct address. Place was very roomy for 25+ but pool area not clean, furniture, chairs broke or damaged, seats worn out. Looked like update projects were starting but never finished. Random debris laying around sitting area.

Thanksgiving 2025 - Quirky but Functional

Overall, we had a good stay. There wasn’t much time for TV, but the electronics could use some TLC. We planned to drop stuff off and go meet friends for dinner. I had to wait for TV maintenance to come get the TVs working, and by that time, we missed our dinner date. There were five remotes in the living room. One turned it on, one controlled the volume, and one changed the channel. Direct TV had been notified there were issues, and on our last day, they arrived to troubleshoot TV issues. Many of the TVs run on Roku rather than Direct TV. Some Roku modules were in various states of disrepair as were the gaming consoles in the family room. One of the doors on the dryer didn't close, but there were two dryers so we used the one that worked. All of this to say, it would be nice to have these issues resolved before guests arrive. The TV situation was not a deal breaker. We will most likely rent this same property next year. A good deep cleaning and some organization of kitchen cabinets would be nice. Pro tip: There are no hand towels or a trash can in the hall bath. Put a roll of paper towels and the trash can from the bedroom in the bath and it's all good.

Beautiful house! Super big and a great place to stay! Our stay was amazing! The host was very nice and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as it could be …they were very good and all requests we had were made possible by the host! Great experience! Will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous house

Very spacious to fit a family of 25 people high speed internet and accommodation was just fenomenal. And the pool was just a dream. Host was fast at replying text and a very nice lady.

Quinceanera celebration

We truly enjoyed the house and pool during those hot San Antonio days. We were in town celebrating our daughter's quinceanera, it was wonderful being able to spend time under same roof since we all live in different states..The trees kept it cool and we thoroughly enjoyed being outside! Thank you! We will be renting again!!

Disappointing Stay with Multiple issues

Review: Our stay was not what we expected. The problems started when the address provided was incorrect, leading to a last-minute change that added stress to our arrival. The address listed says it is in Helotes however the home is actually in San Antonio. Additionally, the property did not seem well-maintained. The floors and rugs were very dirty, and there were areas that could use a deep clean. Although the overall space and function of the home was nice, it was concerning that there were exposed wires and modem in the living area, which was particularly alarming as we had small children with us. The first night we went to cook dinner we discovered the oven was broken and we had to order food last minute. Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations. Would not recommend.

“Casa de los abuelos”

The house is very accommodating for large families. We took our grandparents. They enjoyed staying there while we were out at the water parks. It was a home away from home for them. They need to get a better cleaning service or maybe it’s time for a deep cleaning & organizing day. But then I’m a bit OCD ;)

La casa de Abuelos

The house is very big very beautiful Plenty of room for our big family. Pool is very nice not to cold although the pool is hotter then the hot tub. The house was cleaned very well just a couple pieces of trash in the dinning area. My big complaint was not getting the address ahead of time, we had to rearrange our whole schedule because we didn’t get the address until 3:45 and check in was at 4! Showers are very nice water pressure is Great and temperature is way better than hot tub.

The floors were so dirty you had to wear shoes at all times. We ran out of toilet paper on the second day. The reservation was sent with the wrong address in LARGE, BOLD print and the correct address in tiny font at the very bottom. This was only realized once we showed up at the wrong address. A deep clean is needed and broken furniture needs to be fixed or replaced

Very nice property, minutes from interstate and major attractions

This property was great, only minutes from all the attractions, and the neighborhood was wonderful. The beautiful home slept 19 of us comfortably. The neighborhood swimming and tennis courts was in walking distance and we loved sitting on the patio at night enjoying each other company and the gas grill was a plus. We had enough towels for us all to use and having body wash and shampoo and conditioners were a big plus. Only downer was that probably need a better cleaning crew after vacationers leave property because as we were cleaning to make sure we didn't leave anything we found a garment bag in the closet with a man's tie and pants that had been left. We will stay at this property again and again if we come back to San Antonio. We couldn't have stayed at a better place. I wish Evelyn had properties all over so I could use her again and again, she was great and was willing to do whatever needed to be done during our stay. I give this stay a 4 1/2 stars.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

We rented this VRBO home for a special needs mom weekend, all us moms bond, unite and enjoy these weekends, a small get-a-way from our jam packed life with our special ones. Moms from all over the USA and Canada came to the reunion. Upon arrival the host permitted us to check in a day early, we showed up to find the cleaners in the home, once they left we were able to get in, the home was filthy!! And I mean so dirty, we found trash in the floor, the refrigerator was not clean and had left over food in it, the beds were not made, the home appeared to us as if it had never been deep cleaned at all, some beds didn’t have pillows they had sofa cushions as pillows, cloths hangers were left on the blinds, the ladder to the bunk bed was broken, missing light bulbs.. the list goes on and on. I called the host and explained this, she sent the cleaners back in the morning, again it was more of a tidy pass through then a clean. In the middle of our stay the hot tub water completely drained, we did not have a hot tub for that day until the pool guy came over the next day. We were very disappointed with the home.

Dirty. Manager unprofessional

When we first walked into this home, it was beautiful and smelled fresh. Once we entered the bedrooms/bathrooms, that's when it all began. The floors where filthy (including rugs). Looked like they hadn't been swept or vacuumed for days. Bed linens were dirty. There was crumbs and hair on some of the beds. The bathroom closet had dirty towels on the floor. The lavatory had dirty face towels under them. The hallway linen closet had sheets just balled up in it. Some were damp. The refrigerator was nasty. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I called the "manager" to tell her the place was not cleaned. She told me she had just left the house and the house keeper was moping the floors. She should have double checked the house to make sure it was properly cleaned. She told me she would send the housekeeper back. I was to call her back(Evelyn/manager) when the housekeeper got there because she only spoke Spanish and she would have to interpret anything we needed done. Once the lady got there, she didn't answer her phone. The only reason we were able to communicate with the housekeeper was because she brought her daughter with her and she had an app on her phone that would interpret for us. We ended up washing our own sheets because it was late in the evening. The next day I asked her if there was anyway would could get a DVD player. She sent someone later that day with one which didn't work. I called her to tell her it didn't work and she didn't answer so I sent her a text. She never did respond to me. The following day a nice guy dropped another one off and connected it for us. I never did hear back from her. Some other minor things came up but we just took care of it ourselves because we didn't think she would respond again. Later during the week I went ahead and text her asking if she could get someone to come and check out the clothes dryers because both were taking about 3-4 cycles to dry. She did text back saying she would but no one ever showed up. She never did checked back with us and we didn't bother calling or texting her again. All of this could have been forgiven/forgotten if she wouldn't have handled us the way she did. Also there is no longer a diving board by the pool as shown in the pictures which was no biggie for us.
