Wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge! Weniger als zweieinhalb Stunden von NYC, zehn Minuten vom Belleayre Ski Centre und 40 Minuten vom historischen Woodstock entfernt, ist dieses gemütliche und private Cottage perfekt für einen romantischen Rückzugsort für Paare, zwei Paare, eine kleine Familie oder eine Gruppe von Freunden für einen erholsamen und ruhigen Kurzurlaub in den historischen Catskill Mountains.

Das Cottage verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer (beide mit Queensize-Betten), ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Dusche / Badewanne und einen tollen Raum bestehend aus Küche, Ess- und Wohnbereich. In der Mitte des großen Raums befindet sich ein Holzkamin. Wohnzimmer Sofa ausziehbar für ein Doppelbett. Hartholzbambusböden und moderne Möbel aus der Mitte des Jahrhunderts, Kabel-TV und Breitband-Wifi-Internet im gesamten Cottage.


Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über Glasschiebetüren, die auf eine Terrasse mit herrlichem Bergblick auf den Catskill Park und offene Felder mit einer Feuerstelle führen.

Dieses Haus ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt von Phoenicia, Woodstock, Anden und Margaretville entfernt. Trailways Bus nach NYC befindet sich im nahe gelegenen Fleischmanns, fünf Meilen entfernt. Ein örtlicher Taxiservice ist verfügbar.

Zum Skifahren ist das Haus zentral gelegen und in der Nähe von Belleayre, Hunter Mountain, Windham und Plattekill.

Cozy cottage near Belleayre

Great location only 15 minutes from Belleayre. Paul was a great host and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Beautiful mountain views.

Best of the Catskills

We had a wonderful stay. The location was very private, and the views were amazing. The trails on site were a plus. Loved the little store down the road where the locals sold local meats, jams, meats and produce. A perfect week in the catskill wilderness!

Wonderful winter stay in the Catskills

We loved our stay at Halcott Cottage. Check-in was easy, the cottage is super clean and great size for a small family like us, and the location was amazing! Wonderful views of the mountains and secluded but accessible to lots of Catskill towns and skiing. Definitely will be back!

Wonderful Catskills Cottage

Quiet getaway

Great cottage, great location

Enjoyed how remote Halcott Cottage felt, yet we were less than 15 minutes to Belleayre. Spent the MLK long weekend here with the family. Comfortable, clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. We hiked the surrounding property which is beautiful. Paul the host was easy to communicate with. Would come again in any season.

Beautiful little place

The cabin is immaculately clean & neat and has a gorgeous view of the nearby mountains. A shame it was winter or I would have enjoyed sitting on the porch. Location is peaceful & quiet. Owner was a pleasure to deal with as well. My only issue was that the couches were not comfortable for sitting.

We had a great time at the house. Everything was perfect. The house was very clean and had excellent natural light from all the windows and sliding doors. The kitchen had every pot and appliance we needed and I loved having the choice of either gas or charcoal grill. The amount of property provided excellent privacy and I also loved the nice, big fire pit. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather.

Perfect winter getaway

This was our second trip to the Halcott Cottage and just as the first time we were there, everything was perfect! Amazingly clean, equipped with everything you could need (including more then sufficant heat as I was a little apprehensive to go in winter since I'm always cold but that was definitely not a problem) and a gorgeous view ...Paul the property owner is great, he is extremely accommodating, easy to get in touch with and very responsive, a great host! I have been coming up to Fleishmanns my entire life but this was my first trip during the winter months and this place made it the perfect cozy winter getaway my husband and I were hoping for, will definitely be back yet again!!

Amazing Views

Property did not disappoint. It was true to its listing, photos and reviews. Meadow and wood trails right off back deck. Mountain trailheads nearby. Flat easy walking trails in nearby Roxbury (Catskill Scenic Trail) and Boiceville (Ashokan Rail Trail). Awesome food all around. Oakley's is more than just wood fired pizza and is packed the minute it opens. Woodstock Brewery had awesome food and beer. Scenic drives abound. The Town of Livingston Manor had amazing sandwiches at Main Street Farm Market Cafe. So many places had vegetarian and vegan options. However, you don't need to go anywhere. This cottage view grabs you every minute. The night sky is huge and beautiful. Enjoy yoga with a view. Relax to the views on the huge deck or from indoor comfort of the couch. Views from bedroom also. Our dog loved this place. So quiet. We only heard the calming running of the nearby brook. Cottage had absolutely everything you need with a very well stocked kitchen. Full grocery store in nearby Margaretville. Beds were comfy. Shower never lost hot water. Plenty of room. Town Halcott is quaint with old working farms and the river along the road. Paul, who lives on the 50 acre property but out of sight, was so attentative to any questions we had. Bring your binoculars to watch wildlife in the mountain meadow on an adjacent mountain. Bald eagles, hawks, deer and tons of song birds. Truly a relaxing getaway.

Perfect getaway in a picturesque setting

My wife and I and our dog enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating week in this beautifully decorated cottage. The mountain views out of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room space are breathtaking. The cottage is in a very quiet location within a short driving distance to many beautiful hikes and charming villages. Every drive in this region is a scenic drive. The cottage is very well stocked and has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a great time. And if you need anything else, Paul the owner is very attentive and responsive. Mountain stay

Our stay was all that we could have hoped for. A warm welcoming cottage with an owner that was supportive and attentive to our needs. A dozen fresh eggs from local chickens greeted us after we arrived and helped to remind us that our stay would be defined by the mountain views and the chance to enjoy the country.
