Finca Bocas del Mar: the unique experience of your own private coffee estate

Immerse yourself in a stunning contemporary house with luxury features and unbeatable panoramic views of breathtaking Baru volcano. The property is unique as it is set in its own 6 ha working coffee estate, with the premium Geisha variety as well as Caturra, for you to experience, explore and enjoy during your stay. All this is just a 15 minute drive from downtown Boquete and its many facilities.

The accommodations

Luxurious private house with breathtaking views of the valley and the Baru volcano. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, one very spacious Master with King bed, one with Queen bed and one with 2x Twin/Single. There is also a separate annex bedroom with Queen bed and its own bathroom. The living room with open-plan fully equipped kitchen has floor to ceiling views where it really feels that nature is surrounding you. There is a large, outdoor terrace with volcano and plantation views that will captivate you. The whole coffee farm for a relaxing and unique walk in on your doorstep.

Guest access

Outside, enjoy the picturesque trails of the private estate through the coffee plants: we grow the premium variety Geisha and Caturra and you can even see the harvest in season (mid-November to mid-February).

The house and farm are a short drive from the centre of Boquete in the elevated neighbourhood of Jaramillo Abajo, with breathtaking views over the valley and towards the Baru Volcano.

It is a feeling of true exclusivity to stroll along the private trails of your gated plantation, breathe in the fresh mountain air and watch the coffee buds ripen. Most of the trails are hilly or with steps, although the immediate area around the house is flat or terraced.

The finca is located in a quiet residential and coffee-growing area. The Lucero golf course (18 holes) with its gourmet restaurant is only a 15 minute drive away, as is the interesting centre of Boquete with its shops, malls, outdoor holiday activity providers and a variety of places to eat. Directions:

Before you get to Boquete, turn right, direction Lucero Golf Course. After the bridge over the river you will come to a crossroads where you will see a large sign for Lucero Golf Course. Here you turn left onto a smaller tarmac road towards Jaramillo Bajo. The road changes to stones and you will pass a sign with "Montaña Verde" on your left.

Continue for about 5 minutes and you will have the entrance to the estate on your left. There is a sign with "Finca Bocas del Mar" at the entrance.

How to get around

The estate is less than an hour from Enrique Malek airport in David by car. At the airport in David you will find all major brands of rental agencies or if you wish we can arrange a cab service for you.

If you are traveling by public transportation, you could take a bus from the bus terminal in David. In Boquete you would have to take a cab to the estate. If you are driving, we will send you the location link.

Getting around the area requires a car or cab.

The last part of the access road to the estate is partially paved/cemented and partially stone. A 4x4 vehicle is not necessary but recommended. If driving a sedan it is advisable to drive very slowly because of possible unevenness and to allow vehicles coming from the opposite direction to pass.
