Welcome to San Juan Surf and Stay, a rustic home away from home nestled along the shores of the Pacific ocean. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or an adventure by the sea, our seaside retreat offers the perfect setting for a great vacation.
Our coastal gem is located in Port Renfrew, a tranquil and undiscovered treasure of the coast. The house is steps away from the San Juan River and the Pacific Ocean, allowing you to wake up to the soothing sound of the waves.

Our home features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, providing comfortable accommodations for up to 7 guests. The interior boasts a delightful blend of coastal decor and modern amenities, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

The open-plan living area is perfect for family gatherings, with a fully-equipped kitchen for preparing delicious meals using the freshest seafood from your day on the water or from the local fishermen.
The living room is a cozy spot to unwind, with a wood-burning fireplace for those cooler evenings and a library of hand selected books and board games to keep you entertained.
Step outside to our expansive deck, where you can enjoy al fresco dining, BBQs, and sunsets that are nothing short of magical.
The private staircase to the water is just a few steps from the back door, making it incredibly convenient for surfers or brave swimmers.
You will have full access to the whole home and property.
We offer a private guest experience, with convenient self check-in.
We have a comprehensive guidebook and signage around the home and property to help you during your stay.
We are happy to assist you remotely, or are near by in case we need to attend in person.
On the unceded territory of the Pacheedat First Nation, the San Juan Surf and Stay is located in Port Renfrew, BC at the mouth of the San Juan River, in the Beach Camp Neighbourhood.
Our street is a quiet cul-de-sac which offers a serene getaway while staying close to town. Our home is walking distance to both South Pacheedat Beach and Beach Camp Beach. A few steps further you will find the Bridgemans Marina and Pub, where you can a restaurant and Boat Launch/Slips (with short term moorage rates!)
Port Renfrew is best accessed by car. There is currently no public transportation from Nanaimo or Victoria and no local transportation once you are here. Although we’re in a walkable neighbourhood, it’s suggested you drive(carpool!) to SJS&S.
There is limited grocery selection in Port Renfrew. Please bring your own groceries and pantry essentials. Salt, Pepper and Olive Oil are provided.
There are a couple options for restaurants, but opening hours and offering can vary, especially in the winter.
