Welcome to The Unwinding Woods! Tucked away between the trees, this charming cabin with Nordic inspired touches will immerse you in the sounds of nature. We invite you to sit back, relax, and unwind.
The cabin is:

18 mins to Mercier Orchards
22 mins to Downtown Blue Ridge and Blue Ridge Scenic Railway
25 mins to the Ocoee Whitewater Center

BEDROOMS & BATH
The main bedroom is on the first floor and features a king sized Helix mattress. The second bed is in the upstairs loft space with a queen sized Helix mattress. Both beds are fitted with 100% cotton sheets and an alternative down duvet insert.
There are two bathrooms in the cabin. Each of these offer rainfall shower heads. The upstairs loft space has an attached bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub.
KITCHEN & DINING
There is a full kitchen with an electric range, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
Nothing says cozy cabin trip like a warm cup of coffee by the fire. You will find a French press, coffee grinder, electric kettle, and a Keurig in case you need a quick cup.
The kitchen also features a live-edge dining table with seating for 4 people. This makes a great place to play one of the provided board games.
LIVING SPACE
When you open the door to the cabin, you walk into the open concept living space with soaring cathedral ceilings. It showcases a wood burning, river-rock fireplace and a smart tv for all those cuddled-up movie nights.
There are two pouf ottomans to put your feet up from the leather couch and a Scandi-inspired armchair.
If you want a break from screen time, we've included a record player and board game station under the staircase.
PROPERTY
The Unwinding Woods is situated on a little over an acre of wooded land. Out the back door is a deck looking out to the trees and woodland creatures (there is always a squirrel jumping from tree to tree and birds chirping away. The occasional deer family is seen galloping through as well).
There is patio seating to watch/listen to the wildlife as well as a table top firepit to use on the outdoor coffee table. We provide 4 roasting sticks for a smore's night.
Step down the back stairs or walk along the side of the cabin and you'll find the hot tub deck. It's the perfect spot to relax among the trees with a warm market light ambiance.

Zu Gast bei June and Brandon
We're June and Brandon and we're the hosts of The Unwinding Woods. We currently live in Knoxville Tennessee with our doggo, Holly Berry. We grew up in San Diego, but after getting married in 2020 we decided to pack everything into our two cars that year and moved across the country to TN.
After living in TN for a couple years, we were blessed with the opportunity to purchase this cabin in GA and spent a year fixing it up. We knew Blue Ridge was thriving and loved the idea of a place that felt just far enough to feel like our own little getaway. We cannot wait to hear of all the memories made at this place and hope you'll be as captivated by the charm of this cabin as we are!

The Unwinding Woods is located in the northern part of Blue Ridge on a 1.28 Acre lot with a wooded back-drop. Though in Fannin County and the limits of Blue Ridge, it is close to a small town called Epworth that's on the way to McCaysville (15 minutes away on the GA/TN line).
