Get away from it all at this tranquil 3BR/2BA San Diego Oceanside home, less than 2 miles from the beach. Fitted with wooden finishes, brick accents, and a breezy open floor plan that makes it a pleasure to entertain guests.

The space
The space
Spend quality time together in the tastefully decorated living room, featuring a 55” flat screen TV and plenty of seating on a couch and several chairs. Charming and practical, the fully equipped kitchen has
stylish cabinets, Granite counter tops, and full-size stainless appliances - including a Wolf six-burner gas stove oven and griddle.
Sip morning coffee and enjoy the pool views from the breakfast nook with table that seats five. Gather the whole family around the formal dining room table, where nine can enjoy a sit-down meal together. Two built-in buffets offer perfect spots for serving up dinner. While the kids burn off some energy playing on 1.5 acres Gated Property, you can settle into one of the loungers on the pool deck with a book and cold drink. Everyone will love the home’s pool for an afternoon of playing and splashing. The back patio also has a lounge area and patio table for six. The home’s Three Large bedrooms and living room sleep 8-10 comfortably. Elegant with a splash of whimsy, the master bedroom comes with a king bed, 32” TV, and tons of storage in two closets. There’s plenty of space in the en-suite master bath, featuring a tiled walk-in shower and vanity. In the second bedroom, King bed with cheerful bedding, and a ceiling fan provides year-round comfort. The third bedroom is slumber party-ready with a full-over-full bunk bed plus another twin bed. The fourth bedroom rounds out the sleeping space with a queen sofa bed and large window facing the backyard, and another full bath.

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer. Driveway parking is provided for more than 6 cars RV’s Boats ; as well as additional street parking. Please note that there no A/C , mild seaside temperatures provide year-round comfort. Please note the pool is; during the summer the pool sits in the mid 70's, during the Fall and Spring it sits at low 70's, and during the winter it can be in the 60's. The pool can be heated for an additional cost of $100 per day. The 12 person Jacuzzi, for a fee and upon request can be heated to 103 degrees for an additional cost of $45 per day which also includes outdoor fire rings area.

There is a Groundskeeper named Dan who does light maintenance on the property. He stays in a separate small dwelling on the property. He enters the property through his own entrance. He does not interact with Guests or use any of the facilities. Everything is Separate. If you need him for directions or consultation he will assist.

Disappointing
This house has so much potential. It looks like a remodel that stopped halfway through. We picked the house because of the pool and outdoor space. The pool was clean with new stone work. The yard was not kept up. There were tarped old cars and broken worn out furniture. The entrance was unkept. Inside the house was initially impressive until you look closer. The kitchen cabinets were chipped and dirty but, nice high end appliances. The ceiling lights in the family room and one of the bedrooms were out. About half of the windows don’t open. The inside furniture looked fairly new. The 3rd bedroom isn’t really a bedroom. It’s a bunkbed in a nook that leads to the pool. A short distance away there were a lot of homeless and cars that had been broken into. The area was probably very nice in it’s time. Contrary to another review, the host was very responsive in his communication.

Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Cleanliness and Lack of Amenities
I recently stayed at Large Coastal Property Near Best Beaches from Mon, Jul 08 - Thurs, Jul 11 and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was greeted by ants and cockroaches, which was very concerning. Additionally, the cleanliness of the property was subpar; the kitchen and bedrooms were covered in crumbs and sticky surfaces. Communication with the owner was also lacking. Responses were infrequent and often delayed, making it difficult to address any concerns promptly. Almost twenty-four hours after reporting the issue, the owner sent someone over with cleaner but not bug spray. The problem persisted, and the following day, someone came at 8:30 at night to drop off bug spray. They only sprayed one spot and then left us with the bottle. Furthermore, the property listing did not mention the absence of air conditioning or the lack of fans, which made the stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, nearly half of the windows did not open, severely limiting ventilation. Overall, this property did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend it to others based on my previous experience without any further pest treatments, deep cleaning of everything in the house.

Great House. Poor Communication.
The house was amazing. The pool was beautiful. The location was less than 10 minutes from Oceanside beach and pier. The space was perfect for hosting a large family or a group of friends. Two big bedrooms with their own bathroom. Then two other auxiliary/kids areas. Sleeps 4 adults perfectly and I would say maybe 3/4 more if they are under six foot on the bunkbeds and day bed. The kitchen had amazing appliances, with plenty of dishes for a big group. However the cookware and the items needed for preparation was lacking and didn’t meet the quality and quantity that was needed for a big group. We have stayed in many VRBO’s so we are used to over communication typically with the host. There is usually a binder or information on what to expect, things to do, and host expectations for check in, check out and things to know about the property to help with any nuances during the stay. There was none of this. So when we couldn’t get the TV’s to work, we contacted the host and asked for help. My husband is pretty tech savvy and we had 19-21 year olds so it wasn’t old people having a hard time with Smat TVs. I contacted the host and asked for help, he never responded. Never. We first time we contacted him with a concern the response came 6 hours later with a bit of a scolding. It could have been easy fix, but we went our entire stay with no response and no TVs. It’s truly unfortunate, the host still has some things to learn about making the guests comfortable and welcome.
