We had a nice short stay at this house while visiting the area for a tournament. Nice place for the price and number of beds.

A great experience

Our family needed to be in Port Clinton for a remembrance service and our experience during a challenging time was made all that much easier staying here. We were very happy with everything.

outside was unkept. cooking needs was lacking? no toaster no frying pans or hot pads no cooking sheets but when I called Jon he was Jonny on the spot 😂and brought most right over!

Host Dishonest

The Host promised that he had a big back yard for our children. We requested pictures of the property. He said he would send pictures after the booking process. We were promised a big back yard, fire pit and grill for the whole family to enjoy. He never sent the pictures after multiple requests. When we arrrived we seen a savaged vehicle, fire pit was surronded with broken bricks and filled with weeds also the yard was fillled with multiple garbage bags and left over construction materials.You cant see the back yard from the house so the kids were not safe do to the debri and the yard was also on an alley where cars travel. The kitchen barley had cooking essentials for a family of six. There is also someone living upstairs on the second floor which made it real uncomfortable because they had access to our place. No central air or blinds in the living room windows, everyone can see in and out! NEVER AGAIN!!!!! P.S. After sending pictures to Vrbo,they didnt resolve this matter so we will no longer book with them EITHER!

not pleased

Location was nice, homeowner needs to do better. The front door lock did not make me feel secure at all. Desperately needs fixed. The space is great but this home has most likely housed too many parties rather than vacations. Bare necessities in the kitchen. Found Parmesan packets in the cabinets that had been chewed on by mice and mice feces all around the cabinet and countertop. Washer did not work properly, which we were informed of after staying two nights there already. The unit has an upstairs that is occupied by tenants although we never heard them. There is a stairwell in the house that is blocked off at the top of the stairs. I'd rather have a lock on the door downstairs to ensure that no one can get in. There were no outside trash bins to store full trash bags in, so we had to keep them inside to keep the animals out of it. I would recommend looking for another house until this owner starts to care about this property. I wish I would have read the reviews on this place, but I have never had a bad experience booking through the VRBO site before. For some reason, the owner and I were unable to communicate through the site. All in all, I am just very disappointed.
