Welcome to the Gypsea Mermaid!

Your best Destin vacation awaits at Sandpiper Cove. Our condo is a newly renovated one bedroom ground floor condo. The bedroom offers a luxurious king size bed. We also have a sleeper sofa with a queen size memory foam mattress in the living room. Free wifi and cable tv provided for your convenience. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs. Enjoy a fruity drink on the patio and watch another beautiful Destin sunset! The Gypsea Mermaid of Sandpiper Cove is the perfect beach getaway. You will be walking distance to white sugary sands and emerald waters!

SPC is one of Destin's most popular resorts because it has so much to offer! Skip the crowds and enjoy a private beach access. There is also free gated parking and private bathrooms. Enjoy a cold beverage and delicious snacks at SPC's own Rick's SandTrap. Partake in SPC's rental service of beach chairs and umbrellas.

Sandpiper Cove has awesome free amenities! On-site is a 9 hole chip and putt course. Refresh in any of the 5 pools. Two of the pools are heated year round. And relax in one of the 3 hot tubs. SPC also has tennis and pickleball courts. Safety and privacy are important at Sandpiper Cove. It is a gated complex with an on-site ultra friendly 24 hour guard! Lousiana Lagniappe resturant is also on site. Enjoy a fancy dinner at sunset! Take the water taxi to Destin Harbor Harborwalk. SPC has a boat dock and canal to park a boat. No wonder vacationers from all over choose Sandpiper.

Our listing is new to VRBO, but we are not new to being hosts and taking the absolute best care of our guests. We are Superhosts and the Gypsea Mermaid condo was awarded a guest favorite award from another platform for being one of the most loved homes. Beautiful Getaway in Destin

Our stay here in Destin was fantastic. Beautiful community and property. Private beach access, minutes from all attractions and the condo was clean and a described. Will definitely be looking to stay here again on our next adventure to Destin.

Two adults two kids, quick getaway

I want to start by saying the host of this condo were quick to respond, and so nice with their communication. My husband and i, with 2 kids under 10. This first floor unit was in the back of the property. The 9th hole, for the golf course was right outside our back door. My husband loved watching everyone play through. Also the 1st hole is to the left of that. So u can step right off the deck and play 9 holes. There is a pool in view, and in walking distance. It was not heated (which we knew ahead of time) but there are two heated pools on the property! One was located just a minute by car. Or quick walk or bike ride. The other heated pool had 3 hot tubs. Which was the more crowded of the two heated pools. The condo was clean! Property was well maintained, great spot for families! You certainly can walk to the beach, (10 min) there is one road u have to cross, to get to the beach access. But its free to park. It was more convenient for us, with all we were lugging, to drive. The rental had 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 3 boogie boards, 2 pool noodles and some beach toys. Also a collapsing wagon to carry it all. One thing to add, the king mattress in the bedroom was very soft. My husband has had a few back surgeries, so it was a little difficult for him to get comfortable. He actually found the pull out to be better for him (thats just personal preference) . Its a busy area with a lot to do and tons of food options. Beautiful beach! Great stay! I'd recommend!
