Louisville stay

We were at a volleyball tournament and keeled somewhere budget friendly to stay. Our concern was there was plenty of parking when we arrived but for some reason trucks filled up the parking and we had to find street parking blocks away. Not what we expected. The cleaning crew could do better with baseboards and edges

Better than I thought!!

This place was a lot more than I anticipated. Any issues we had, we let them know immediately and they were on top of it! Plenty of space, great kitchen, and location is so close to a ton of amazing places to eat and drink. I will be definitely be staying here next year!

Last minute trip

The area is really cool with good food just steps away. It’s not an owner you deal with it’s a company with people that don’t speak great English which I don’t love. They also require you to send a selfie with your license which I also don’t like. The house itself is a nice old house though!

Not as pictured! Smelled like smoke!

I wish I could attach actual pictures I took as proof. Place reeked of smoke. Multiple blinds broken, closet in one bedroom falling apart, sofa was so filthy and broken, bottom of shower curtain disgusting. List goes on and on. this is not a fully renovated place at all! Called Vrbo to ask for refund before check due to condition of place ans smoke smell to no avail. No other choice but to stay without refund it was derby and nothing else avail. After complaint to owner ant check in host sent cleaner back out after we explained it wasn’t cleaning issue. They didn’t care about any issues with we had and refused refund. We went out and purchased a ton of candles to help with smell. Smoking was definitely done in there over time it was in the walls

Corporate run VRBO!

This is a corporation and they have a very strict refund policy. 100% refund before 60 days and no exceptions after. They requested a photo of me holding my ID to be emailed. VRBO doesn’t require this. The place is not newly renovated. Paint is chipping from baseboards and cabinets. There is a broken cabinet in one bedroom and a broken picture frame on top. 15 minutes after we arrived a few gentlemen showed up to remove the nasty dirty couch and assemble the new couch. The new couch was missing parts but worked fine for our stay. The chain for toilet in bathroom next to kitchen was broken and had to be fixed. Once fixed we had to lift the handle after each flush so the water wouldn’t run. The floors were so dirty my sister’s feet were almost black from walking around barefoot. The coffee table had marks from previous spills. I was able to wipe them up with water and paper towel. The place needs a thorough cleaning! The garbage outside was overflowing when we arrived and smelled awful! This place could be great if better taken care of and a more flexible refund policy. Not to mention the spray foam in the ceiling, the floors are warped, 1 bedroom is in the foyer, entrance is in back. You can easily hear the upstairs neighbors walking around. It does have off street parking and a great location.
