The Space:
This lovely Victorian style red brick house is one of a kind in Crested Butte. You'll absolutely love the location-two blocks by foot, to Elk Avenue and the heart of Crested Butte. Park your car, rent a couple of townie bikes, and enjoy all that Crested Butte has to offer with ease. You can also ride or walk from the property and be on world class trails, year around, in minutes.
The ground floor encompasses a large chef's kitchen, complete with luxury appliances such as a Sub Zero refrigerator and 6 burner, double oven Wolf range. A large island in the middle of the kitchen provides ample room to entertain your group and create gourmet meals. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, as well as a powder bath. Natural light, a gas fireplace, large smart TV and comfortable seating create an inviting ambiance in the ground floor living room. Upon climbing the stairs to the second story, you'll find the primary suite on your right. This bedroom has a queen bed, smart TV, and large ensuite bath. The bathroom has an oversized tile shower, large vanity, and separate toilet room. Down the hall you'll find another queen guest room with a TV and a separate full bath/tile shower combination bathroom. A cozy den is also located on this floor. This space gives a more casual option for additional TV viewing, playing games, working at the dedicated work space or reading a book by the gas fireplace. The pull out couch provides a little more space to spread out at night. Another flight of stairs leads up to the third queen bed guest room on the third floor. This quaint renovated attic space provides privacy as it has a sitting area and spacious private bathroom. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination.
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.
The decor and finishes throughout the entire house are upscale and tasteful. We are sure The Victorian Gem will delight all in your group and enhance your Crested Butte experience. Please note the owner of this home has requested no children under the age of 13.
The backyard has a gas grill and seating for enjoying the outdoors.
There is room for 2 vehicles to park off street in the front of the house. Additional cars would need to park along the street out front. No garage and no indoor storage for bikes.
It is 2 blocks from the 100 block of Elk Ave, just far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity that Crested Butte has to offer and yet close enough to walk to anything.
You are 3 blocks to the closest bus stop in front of the Gas Cafe on Gothic Rd and Teocalli. The free Town Shuttle carries you between Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 30 years, except ages 13 and older with their parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, this property does not allow pets of any kind.
