With long range views from just about every aspect of this home, you literally have the mountains at your fingertips all seasons of the year! Extra bonus! With a full-sized futon upstairs and queen- size pull out sofa downstairs, this home can accommodate 18 for sleeping that is if everyone is on a first name basis!
Chateau de Maggie offers spread out spaciousness not found in many mountain homes. Experience what could be considered one level living as 3 bedrooms plus kitchen, living and dining rooms are all on the main floor. The main level of this home is accessed by the front door off the streetside section of the deck with only a few steps from street to door.
Making your way to the main living area, you’ll pass both the full and queen bedrooms to your left along with a large guest bathroom on your way. Enjoy preparing meals in the open kitchen with tiled breakfast bar area to your right. The adjacent dining room allows your guests to visit with the chef of the day as they prepare your meal, until finally sitting down to join your group at the custom-built dining room table. Interested in dining alfresco? Fire up one of two gas grills outside and enjoy your meal on the outdoor dining table in the cool mountain air. You won’t have far to go to kick back afterwards as you rock the night away on the front deck swing or relax in the overstuffed deck chairs. This is mountain living at its best!
Oversized windows in both the dining and living room space offer a fabulous view of the mountains beyond. Imagine yourself curled up with your favorite book on the large, overstuffed couches in front of the double-sided stone gas fireplace. Just a little warmth and ambiance on those cold winter nights! A small sunroom with a full futon sits just in front of the second half of the fireplace, making for a cozy semi-private workspace. The primary king bedroom and bath beyond the living room boasts both a jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Stairs from the main level lead down to a large game room complete with full size pool table that converts to play ping pong, backgammon, or chess. A small mini pool table sized just for the littles converts to air hockey and ping pong as well. There’s even a card room with a genuine poker table and chips. Board games galore, corn hole and an old-fashioned popcorn maker round out the fun.
The second king bedroom ensuite and bunkbed room are also located on the lower level. The king suite leads out to a spectacular waterfall feature complete with firepit and glider swing. Just steps away is the brand new 6-person hot tub where you can imagine yourself gazing out to the view beyond. For those of you ready to sit by the fire to take in that view, consider moving the bonus firepit and Adirondak chairs stored in the garage out to the large level concrete drive to take in the Smoky Mountain night view by the fire. That never gets old!
Large Smart TVs are in the living space, both king bedrooms, game room, and bunk bedroom, Spectrum high speed internet, Wi-Fi, Keurig coffeemaker, full size washer/dryer, central heat and air round out this beautiful home.
