Buckberry Lodge- 5 BR / 4. 5 Bad Blockhaus in einer üppigen Landschaft von Stauden und native Rhododendren gesetzt. Dieses Haus hat drei Ebenen und ist perfekt für ein Paar, oder den Austausch mit Freunden oder Familie. Die Hauptebene verfügt über: voll ausgestattete Küche, die offen zum Essbereich der "Old Hickory" ist. Das zweistöckige Wohnbereich verfügt über einen Kaminofen Kamin, Kabel-TV, VHS / DVD mit viel komfortable Treffen Räume. Abgeschirmte Esszimmer Veranda und offenen Deck mit Edelstahl-Gasgrill. Mst. BR (Queen) hat einen privaten abgeschirmten Veranda und ein großes Bad mit Dusche und Whirlpool. Es gibt ein WC gleich neben der Eingangsfoyer. Die obere Ebene hat eine Badewanne in der Loft-Bereich zwischen den Gästezimmern. (2 Einzelbetten, Queen) Die untere Ebene verfügt über ein Familienzimmer mit offenem Kamin, Billardtisch und Zubehör, kleines TV / VHS. Das Unterdeck verfügt über Veranda Schaukeln und andere Sitzgelegenheiten und ist vom Wohnzimmer zugänglich und beide unteren Gästeschlafzimmer (Queens in jedem BR verfügt über ein eigenes Bad, und die übrigen Anteile ein Flur Bad). Die Waschküche ist auf der unteren Ebene. Großer Garten mit einem kleinen Weg, der zu einem schönen kühlen Bach endet. Buckberry-Fälle ist ein kleiner Bereich versteckt, aber bequem zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Krankenhaus, Wandern und vieles mehr. Main Street Highlands (ca. 4 Meilen) und Kassierer (ca. 10 Meilen). KEINE Haustiere und Rauchen verboten

Eine Woche Minimum Juli, August und Oktober, Thanksgiving und Weihnachten. NICHTS weniger als 7 Nächte können für dieses Haus zu jeder Zeit gemietet werden, es sei denn es ist innerhalb von 18 Tagen der gewünschten Mietdauer.

Beautiful cabin in a fabulous area.

Location is perfect between Highlands and Cashiers. Lots of room for a large group. The pool table was a hit! The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely visit again. Many thanks to the host!

Reviewer Comments: Our blended family (with grandchildren) we’re together for the first time and we could not have asked for a more perfect time or accommodating place to stay for adults and grandchildren. Plenty of space , warm fireplace and a full kitchen to bring in the aroma of Thanksgiving meal and leftovers. Shopping in Highlands, ice skating ,tubing at Scaly Mtn., rollercoaster ride and golfing at beautiful Old Edwards Club and breathtaking Glen Cove. Great home for family gathering in the Highlands

Perfect house in a great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house to attend a family reunion. It was perfect for our group as each family had their own floor for bedrooms and baths. The checkin process was easy. The rental office was not far from the house , which was convenient. The house was clean upon arrival . Communication with the rental office was great - very responsive to questions or concerns. Very quiet location. Check out instructions were minimal with easy key drop off. Only complaint is that there is no trash service at the house. Although the transfer station (convenience center) is close by, we had to make a run every day to get rid of trash and recycle. Otherwise, a great stay and perfect for a large group. Would recommend staying here if you are in the beautiful Highlands area.

Wonderful Family July 4th Celebration!

Plenty of room as described, location was great as we played golf and took in activities at the beautiful Old Edwards Club and The Saddle at Glen Cove. Great customer service as we did not know how to program the AC (it was a new unit and required Blue Tooth) but Mr. Chambers came over and took care of the only issue that we had. We will be back at Thanksgiving!!!Thank you!

Great House in Highlands, NC

My family had a wonderful time staying at 170 Buckberry Road. The house was clean and plenty big for our group of seven. Further, the location was perfect as it was between Highlands and Cashiers, and near several great hiking trails and waterfalls. We did not encounter any problems during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Thanksgiving Get-A-Way

In my case there was my wife and myself, and two daughters and there family...we all had our own floor! The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a large meal. The property was close to town and secluded. Abundant things to do; shopping, zip lining, sight seeing...there are numerous waterfalls nearby and in our case a slope for sledding. On the down side the house is drafty and groceries are expensive. We missed the colors of fall but I would not hesitate to book the property again.

Absolutely wonderful cabin in Highlands

The cabin was perfect! The only thing that was not perfect is that the maids put soiled dirty towels back in the closet and up on the rack as if they were clean. That was the colored towels downstairs. Each one smelled like someone’s body odor. They did it clean under the bed my 3 year old found a condom wrapper. Other than that the cabin itself was perfect! Just need a different cleaning team.

Great Cabin Rental

The cabin was exactly the 'cabin feel' we wanted. It was spacious and cozy. They could use a few more throw blankets, but beyond that, they had everything we needed and wanted. We loved the location - in nature, but close to town. Town was this adorable set of local shops and restaurants, with the mountains visible in the back. Would definitely rent again. My only complaint is the home was not cleaned upon arrival. We were approved for early check in at 2:00. The place hadn't been touched when we got there. We called and they came immediately. The cleaning crew did a nice job, but were not finished until nearly 5:00 - an hour after the original check in time.

I only would suggest that lighting is poor and LR need larger lamps with higher wattage bulbs.. Also bedrooms lamps should be large Enough and bright enough to see if one wants to read. Kitchen well supplied. Some maintence needed. But all in all, I'd go there again. We had a wonderful tune, Thanks

What a wonderful place

The house was great. We had a great time. Kitchen was wonderful! Family area was exciting al! Nice bathrooms, porches, decks. Loved the area! Just a few little things: We found 2 dead mice upon arrival. Shower curtains liners should be changed....mildew. A couple of lightbulbs need changing. Mattress in master bedroom and upstairs Queen were very uncomfortable.

Our second trip to Buckberry Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year at this property. Last year generally, all was well. However, there were problems with appliances. (Dishwasher and Freezer) This year, same problems, in fact the ice maker leaked enough that the ceiling in washer room collapsed. The dishwasher stopped working on the second day. Water service to home had to be turned off until repairs were made. These things did not ruin our trip to Highlands, but they sure did't make it any better. Tucker mentioned that some "adjustment" would be made. I feel that would be a nice gesture, I leave the amount up to you. We like the home very and would probably return. Maybe it is time for some new kitchen appliances. John McElvey
