This well-appointed home provides a relaxing getaway for up to seven people to unwind and explore nature. The Coolfont community's private hiking trails are just steps from the house while a state park with scenic vistas is a quick drive. The unique two-story built into the mountainside features floor-to-ceiling windows, a back deck with a grill, and a screened-in porch all surrounded by towering trees where you can soak up the infinite green during warmer months and brilliant foliage in autumn. Keep your eyes out for deer families and birds, plus the occasional bear!

The entrance to the home, which is built into the mountainside, is on its upper level. The top floor features a full bathroom (tub/shower) and one bedroom with king bed, desk, and a private balcony. The second upstairs bedroom also has a private balcony, new Queen -XL Twin bunkbed as well as a highchair and travel crib with infant/toddler mattress stored for our youngest guests. The lower level has a newly renovated full bathroom (tub/shower) next to the third bedroom, which has a queen bed, desk, and doors to the adjacent side deck. The open concept great room - stocked with games, puzzles, kids corner, TV (need to provide personal login for apps) and movie collection - looks out on a spacious deck surrounded by towering trees. Enjoy Berkeley Springs many local take-out options or home-cooked meals in the dining area or on the screened-in porch. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, fresh spices, and locally made pottery.
Your stay in the Coolfont community includes use of its private pool and hot tub (Memorial - Labor Day) and year-round playground and tennis courts. Just up the road are a local brewery and winery.
