This quaint cottage is one of two newly built cottages at the Cottages at Doe Creek property overlooking a pond and blooming gardens with a convenient location only minutes to downtown Blowing Rock and downtown Boone. Other nearby High Country attractions included Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Hawksnest, Moses Cone Estate Park. Every season brings something new at this tranquil location with over 13 acres to explore and minutes from the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway, various hiking trails, fishing and rafting opportunities.
Sarah Jane's Cottage boasts new furnishings and chic modern country decor, all with relaxation and enjoyment in mind. Enjoy relaxing on the covered porch or soaking in the hot tub overlooking the gardens and pond, or sit by a fire and enjoy the night stars. Most days at dusk you can see the deer and their babies pass through while ducks teach their ducklings how to take off and land on the pond.
The main floor living room is a cozy space with tv and gas log fireplace, which flows into the dining area and full kitchen. There is a queen bedroom and full bathroom also on the main level, and a bright comfortable king bedroom and full bathroom on the upper level.
There is wifi and streaming via smart TVs. Heating and air conditioning are provided by mini-splits for year round comfort. Up to two dogs are welcome to be included with a reservation, additional pet fees apply.
Sarah Jane's Cottage can be booked alone for a quiet getaway, or check availability at the two other Doe Creek Cottages if looking to stay near family and friends on the same property accommodating up to 16 guests - Clementine's Cottage and The Farmhouse - both of which share the common areas including the pond and acreage.

We recommend snow chains and AWD/4WD during the winter in the High Country in case of inclement weather.
