Bekannt als Channel House hat dieses sonnige Westside-Haus 315 Fuß Ufergegend und 5 Morgen mit bewaldeten Hochländern. Mit 4 Schlafzimmern, 3 Badezimmern, 2 Wohnzimmern, 3 Gasherden, 1 Holzofen und einem Barbereich mit Dartscheibe ist es ideal für Großfamilien oder Mehrfamilien. Paare werden auch die Privatsphäre und die besonderen Annehmlichkeiten dieser idyllischen Umgebung zu schätzen wissen.

Sobald Sie das Channel House betreten, werden Sie sofort in der Bar begrüßt, in der sich die Gäste zu ungezwungenen Abenden versammeln, um Darts zu spielen und die Aktivitäten des Tages zu schildern. Dies öffnet sich zum Essbereich und zur Küche mit einer nahe gelegenen Leseecke, alle mit spektakulärem Blick auf den Kanal. Von der Küche aus gelangt man den Flur entlang zum ersten Schlafzimmer, das im Bunkhouse bekannt ist. Es bietet Platz für vier Personen in zwei Etagenbetten und ist der perfekte Zufluchtsort für Kinder und Jugendliche. Das Bunkhouse verfügt über einen eigenen Fernseher und eine riesige Videothek. WLAN und Sat-TV sind im gesamten Haus verfügbar.

Unten im Flur befindet sich das erste Wohnzimmer mit einer umfangreichen Auswahl an Büchern für alle Interessen, einem gemütlichen Gasherd und Blick durch die Kiefern auf die ferne Insel San Juan. Dies ist der perfekte Platz für die luxuriöse Queen-Size-Luftmatratze, die auf Anfrage erhältlich ist. Neben diesem Zimmer befinden sich zwei gut ausgestattete Badezimmer, in denen sich viele flauschige Baumwollhandtücher befinden.

Jenseits dieses Wohnzimmers befinden sich auf einem privaten Flur zwei weitere Schlafzimmer. Eines hat ein Kingsize-Bett und das andere ein Queensize-Bett. Beide haben reichlich Stauraum und Schubladen. In der Nähe befindet sich der Schlammraum mit einer großen Waschmaschine und einem Trockner sowie Zugang zum Seitengarten und zum Parkplatz.

Das zweite Wohnzimmer mit einem Holzofen befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Hauses und verfügt über ein Schachbrett, Brettspiele und ein Teleskop zur Boots- und Vogelbeobachtung. Hier werden regelmäßig Adler gesichtet.

Folgen Sie der Treppe nach oben zur abgeschiedenen Mastersuite mit Kingsize-Bett, einem eigenen Wohnzimmer, einem Büro, einem romantischen Gasherd und 2 überdachten Balkonen, um die spektakuläre Aussicht zu genießen. Das Bad verfügt über zwei Waschbecken und eine Badewanne / Dusche.

Die Annehmlichkeiten dieses Hauses erstrecken sich über das Innere hinaus bis zu seiner Rundum-Terrasse und dem Spa für 6 Personen. Unmittelbar hinter dem Deck wartet Ihr Privatstrand unten, wo Seeglas, Muscheln und andere Schätze gesammelt werden.

Wonderful Stay in Lopez Island

My family visited for a mini-reunion. The house was spacious and perfect location for a relaxing and peaceful trip. Francisco, the property manager, was super helpful and greeted us upon arrival from the Ferry. The San Juan Islands are magical and we cant wait to come back.

Amazing deck

Wonderful family time on Lopez

The home was spacious and comfortable for our family group. The view from the house and the large deck is spectacular. The long stairway down to the secluded beach is well worth the effort. Amazing house with one of the best views

We had a wonderful week staying on Lopez. The house is beautiful with lots of room and different spaces. The beds are nice and comfortable. Beautiful deck, great hot tub, amazing views especially sunset! The beach is so nice and private. There are stairs down to the beach, so it’s a bit of a trip back up, but worth it! Lovely property. We had a great stay!

Perfect friend house

This was the perfect house for a group of friends or a family to stay while enjoying Lopez Island. The location, views, access to beach, amenities, outdoor space, etc were all top notch. The outdoor shower was a particular hit. We will definitely stay again when visiting the island.

Stunning

The property and home are even better than the pictures, if that’s possible. The communication with the management team and the check in process were the best I’ve ever experienced with a VRBO property. We truly felt at home here - it takes an effort to get there - pay attention to the ferry schedule! - but it that just made Channel House seem like more of a hidden gem.

Amazing views, and everything else

Great house on a sleepy island where everyone waves to you. House layout was fun and quirky, with a bar parlor off the huge kitchen, surrounded by a giant wraparound deck. Hot tub and outdoor shower ! We found a lot of hikes and maybe the best food spots in the San Juans. Definitely a place to come back to.

Fantastic Family Vacation Experience

Our family of six adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful yet cozy home. There was ample space for all of us to gather, as well as lots of nooks to be alone if wanted. The view is spectacular. We spent a lot of time down on the private beach, which was long enough for extended walks. We only saw a couple other people during our week stay. The steps are steep, but the only one that had an issue was our older Shepherd with hip dysplasia. We brought a full body harness/carrier that made the trips up and down quite doable with our help. I would suggest checking the ferry schedule updates. Our ferry was cancelled, and we had to do a mad dash out to catch the earlier ferry. We were the last cars on that ferry!! I would highly recommend The Channel House, and I'm sure we'll be staying again.

Gorgeous view and accommodations on Lopez Island, WA

Spacious, beautiful home overlooking the Salish Sea on Lopez Island, WA. We thoroughly enjoying eating and playing games on the huge deck with gorgeous sunset views as well as the hot tub! The kitchen is huge with every item you need to cook, bake and serve the family! Lopez Island is fun and easy to explore with fabulous farm stands and easy access via ferry to the other San Juan islands.

Booked again and loved it.

This was our second time at Channel House and everyone enjoyed the property. There were 8 adults and two kids so everyone had enough space either inside or outside. The house was well stocked with the necessities to cook and prepare meals, which we did most evenings. Hike or relax on the deck and pay attention to the boat traffic as this was the second time we watched the local Orca pod from the deck. There is a set of binoculars at Channel House, but if you have a good set bring them. We give this house a solid 5 stars for the second visit. We made lifelong memories because the owners offer this house on VRBO. You will be happy if you do the same.

Lovely property, stunning view

This house is so very nice and we really enjoyed our stay with extended family. It is big enough for everyone to spread out. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen is stocked to the gills. Lots of games, puzzles, books to occupy time not spent gazing at the amazing view from the back porch. We had a hiccup with the check in process that was mostly our fault and the owner was extremely helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Paradise found on Lopez Island

This property was amazing. We had 6 adults staying at this property and there was more than enough room. While the pictures are accurate, this home was truly amazing both inside and out. From the moment you walk inside you’re immediately met with a water view. Bob was very helpful checking us into the property and was very responsive if we had any questions. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Hope you return in the future.

We love this property as you can tell this being our fourth stay. The property is beautiful and well kept but some issues. Outdoor grill did not work, internet connection was weak (got better when new router came) and hot tub was finicky.

Magical Snowy Bliss

We celebrated Holidays and Birthday in the gorgeous tranquility of The Channel House and low and behold snow fell creating even greater beauty. The house so warm and cozy with phenomenal views, fully stacked kitchen and privacy of the water made it difficult to leave. Neighbors helped to shovel us out to make our ferry home, truly an amazing community with owner and manager checking to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Will look forward to our next visit.

Family Time

The owners and Bob the property manager were great to communicate with, any questions we had were answered quickly. The home was built in I believe 3 phases, the newest being where the kitchen is. The views from inside the home, on the deck, and in the hot tub are about as picturesque as it gets, and while nothing is too far away on Lopez, it provides a peaceful and calm sanctuary for family time. Lots of very beautiful beaches and hikes minutes away via short drive.

The Best at Lopez

This house is amazing! It is as good as the pictures show and as described! We have stayed at a few Vrbo's and some places aren't quite as described and the pictures are skewed to look bigger and better. I have had to resort to reading all the reviews to gather more information about the place, just to find out more about the home. But this home was wonderful. From the views, to the giant kitchen. Different seating areas for everyone to gather or have a moment to themselves. We will definitely stay here again! A very nice place.

Relaxing Vacation

Our extended family of ten enjoyed staying at the Channel house. Francisco, the house manager, met us at the house initially, giving us the house tour and answered all of our questions. When we had a caffeine emergency, coffee pot malfunction the first morning, he replaced the coffee pot quickly. The views of the Channel and the San Juan Island were spectacular. The homes open dining area and kitchen were great for communal cooking and eating meals together. We used the deck lots for outdoor dining. Our kids ages 6,5,4 and 3 loved the Bunkhouse, both parent couples bedrooms were close by down a private hallway. The upstairs master suite was a great getaway when the grandparents needed alone time. As you can imagine with 4 young children we used the king sized washer and dryer. The piano playing member of our family enjoyed the piano on the property. Most nights ,after the kids were tucked in bed for the night, we spent soaking in the spa, sipping cocktails and watching the sunset. The kids played outside on the deck and side yard. We were down at the private beach most days, rented kayaks and bikes nearby at Fishermans Bay. Went to the Farmers Market which was lots of fun. We created lots of lasting memories for everyone at Channel house.

Beautiful home and location

This house was perfect for our extended family vacation. The kitchen was fantastic and all the rooms were great size with comfy beds. The deck and the view from it was amazing and honestly where we spent most of our time. The steps down to the beach were steep and not well supported so it was difficult for my MIL to navigate but we loved that there was never anyone down on the beach so we had it to ourselves. The property manager reached out before our trip to help us with the ferries and discuss check-in. But when I reached out to him during our stay I never heard back. One piece of feedback is that there was no guest/welcome book with instructions so we didn't know check out procedures - this would be a nice addition. We also could never get the DVD player to work in the living room. Otherwise we absolutely loved our stay and would come back.

I grew up in Seattle and have a deep appreciation for all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
