Maximum seclusion with a couple issues

LOVE the location and the peace! The coyotes sang us a song ever night! The upstairs of the home is beautiful and clean and well appointed. We loved the kitchen and the porch. Issues start downstairs. An ABSOLUTELY HORRID smell filled the patio area and back yard every time someone flushed the downstairs toilet. We had to not us it during our stay. Also we couldn’t get the jets to work on the hot tub and the dart board is broken.

Absolutely wonderful

Pictures didn’t do this place justice, last house in gravel road so it was quiet and private, hot tub was wonderful, kitchen appliances were wonderful, everything exceeded our expectations, Walmart 15 minutes for things we forgot to bring

Wonderful!

Beautiful isolated cabin. Other than the neighbors rooster you couldn't hear anything. Super clean. The TV in the master wouldn't operate but we weren't there to watch TV. Enjoyed everything especially the pac man game in the game room and the fire pit!

So clean, such a beautiful place!

Needs to focus more on customer satisfaction

This house has such potential!! A cleaning service to clean under things and not just a surface clean, is definitely needed. Stained washcloths, bath towels, and old bedding (including no top sheet, miss matched bedding, with very dated and worn out bedding on each bed). Did check with customer service “Mary” before checking in, she was very nice. However, was told that the game room issues, from the previous review were fixed, not true. Dart board had corroded batteries and did not work at all, all the darts were broken anyway. One of the paddles to the ping pong game was missing, never found. Had to add our own batteries to remotes, in order to use the karaoke machine. All of these are simple, inexpensive fixes, for better satisfaction with customers. Also, the ice maker in the fridge did not work, had to purchase our own ice. Such a great location. COULD be such a great place to stay, if they would be willing to listen to the customer and spend a few dollars, fixing a few things. Try bleach with the towels and washcloths for example. Touching up the paint on the walls downstairs. Definitely need to clean,clean!!! Pubic hairs in the bathroom and old food under and around the couch and furniture is not clean. I’ve never had a negative experience with VRBO or AirB&B. This would be my first, we travel often, hopefully the company reads these reviews and makes some changes to improve future guests experiences.

It was a wonderful experience for my husband and myself

The cabin was secluded and just the right size for the two of us. The hot tube was great and the indoor fireplace. Beds were comfortable.

Very dirty

Unfortunately the place is beautiful, but is very dirty. We arrived with food in the kitchen sink, a dishwasher full of dirty dishes that I had to scrub and do, dirty floors that I had to sweep and only four rough cheap bath towels for five people. When we arrived it took us about 20 minutes to just get in because the lockbox and code wasn’t working properly. Tv didn’t work at all the wifi speed is so bad couldn’t watch anything. The pans to cook in are all warped and old food stuck on them so they didn’t cook well. I would think whoever owns this could surely spend a little money and make sure things are better for guests when you’re spending this kind of money nightly. We were all disappointed. Couldn’t play darts on the dart board because they were all broke, not enough paddles for the ping pong table for everyone to play together. You advertise these amenities and then they can’t even be used. I contacted the property the day we arrived back home and spoke to a woman and told her all of this and sent her pics of the dirty dishes that were left for us and she assured me the “manager” would contact me the next day and that was two weeks ago and have heard nothing. For over $1000 for two nights plus additional fees just to check in two hours early I can assure you there are many other options to stay at in Hocking Hills that are better. This was the worst we’ve stayed in.

Fantastic getaway at Wild Rose!!

Came to the wild Rose for a romantic getaway and hiking. Everything was spotless, well appointed, and quality. Plenty of activities for the entire group and hot tub was amazing. High-quality bedding, towels, and paper products.. Location was a little further away from there, hiking at Hocking hills in the caves, but was worth the extra driving! Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay at Wildrose

My family loved the beautiful property and the cabin was clean and decorated beautifully. I was able to use the kitchen as if I were in my own kitchen at home. The bathrooms were clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The game room was awesome.

Beautiful, secluded, clean, and lots of room for our whole family

The kids loved the game room, they played ping-pong, sang karaoke, and tried to get high scores on the video games. Everyone enjoyed bonfires and soaking in the hot tub.

The cabin was large, clean, and had good activities.

Arcade games are a ++ Ping pong was a + High speed internet was a ++ Beautiful looking home ++ Full kitchen with pots and pans ++ Hot tub + Quiet and peaceful +++ Front door lock was sensitive which required a couple minutes of effort to get in. User error so no points off. Don't push the keys in as they appear. Lightly tap like a cell phone.
