Wonderful and Refreshing!

Cold’s Castle is very well appointed and beautifully decorated! The house is very clean and in a quiet area, which we enjoyed after busy days in Charleston. It was great to be able to walk to Shem’s Creek for dinner and boat tours. Very refreshing!

Great Home

Great home in a great location. Beautifully decorated with great amenities including a washer and dryer as well as all the items needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. Quiet neighborhood which is great for traveling and sleeping with small kids. Also great location, only a couple minutes walk to Shem Creek. Parking can be hard to find so it’s great you can easily walk there. Unfortunately I didn’t have a property manager to contact about a painting hanging by one corner, I was just afraid it would fall and get damaged.

Great stay

We really enjoyed Colby's house. It's clean, well stocked and in a great location, walkable to lots of restaurants and a quick drive into Charleston. Colby was great to deal with and responded quickly to all my inquiries. One thing to note is the listing claims there's a gym but there def isn't one.

Great home in Mt. Pleasant

Our family loves traveling to Charleston and visits several times per year. In the spring and summer months we like to stay in Mt. Pleasant. This home was perfect for our family of four. The property was modern, clean, and had everything we needed (coffee maker, washer & dryer, hair dryers, etc.) It is also in a great location and within walking distance to many bars, restaurants (including Shem Creek) and coffee shops (in Mt. Pleasant we love Vintage and Brown Fox). We recommend this property and will stay again in the future!

What a delight and a blessing to stay at Colby's lovely home. She was so kind, gracious and responsive in all her communications. The home is perfectly situated for easy walks in a lovely charming neighborhood to dinner on Pitt Street ( Post House Inn) or many great coffee/lunch/breakfast spots along the Coleman Road area. (Vintage Coffee, Okra, Pickled Palate, Brown Fox, etc.) Short drive to get to Sullivan's for beach time! The bedrooms are cozy in terms of space, but the beds are super comfy and the home is so well decorated and equipped! She thought of everything to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable! It is evident how much care went in to preparing for guests! There are a fair number of steps from one level to the other, so be prepared if mobility is an issue. The view across the lane is to a vacant lot and to other homes in this small cluster of similar cottages. Car port under the house right at the front door worked out great but might be a challenge if you have an extra large SUV vehicle. House was super clean, awesome kitchen and great AC system too! Colby was such a wonderful and accommodating host and very helpful with tips and advice on ways to enjoy the area! We truly cannot wait for another opportunity to visit and stay in this delightful place!

A week in Charleston/note to bikers.

This property is in a block of townhomes. It’s located on the outside of the block so you get a lot of light through the large windows, which is nice. The house is light and airy and comfortable. It’s a very residential neighborhood, but just a couple of blocks from a main thoroughfare with a lot of restaurants and a couple of good coffee shops. About 10 minute drive to the beach at Sullivans Island or to downtown Charleston so if you want to do both it’s a great location. If you are primarily interested in Charleston I would recommend finding a place there for convenience. Note to bikers: Charleston is rated bike friendly which we did not find to be true. We live in a large city so we’re okay with navigating over the bridge and through busy right Charleston streets, but if you’re a casual biker not so much.

Simply wonderful

My family was in Charleston for a tour of The Citadel for one of my Daughters and then to see the surrounding sites. Staying in Mount Pleasant was a great choice. Just far enough away from the main busy downtown area but within minutes of everything. This townhome was within walking distance of Shem creek and there were several good restaurants in the area as well. Do not miss the Pickled Pallate. It was our favorite.. This townhouse was extremely clean, nicely decorated and very cozy for our family of 4. We can’t say enough about the homeowner.. our every need was attended to and every question answered quickly. We hope to come back here soon!

Perfect Location!

This is probably the best location we have stayed at in our years of visiting Charleston. Pretty much equal distance to Sullivan's Island or Charleston along with being in walking distance to great food and Shem Creek. The house was very clean and the host is great at communicating the details. We really enjoyed our stay!
