Spring break trip

Beautiful inside and out, plenty of supplied amenities for the beach, great location, easy beach access, plenty of space for everyone to be together and apart when needed. Overall a great stay in a beautiful place!

Retreat from The Winter

The four of us had a wonderful "Retreat from The Winter" at Miramar! The home, especially the kitchen, was comfortable and well equipped, including many beach chairs. The access to the beach was terrific, with a short walk across the street, through the Aloha Kai gate, and down the private driveway to the white sandy beach. The weather cooperated too, after the one day of rain. The traffic was horrendous, due to a weekday maintenance of the bridge, which was totally out of the hands of the rental. So, while we were unable to explore OFF island, we enjoyed all of the amenities offered ON island. It was a wonderful visit and retreat from the winter!

Perfect for what we needed.

We needed enough rooms and baths for 3 couples. We had more room than we needed. We also enjoyed the short walking distance to the beach.

Vacation

A great rental property with a short walk to the beach. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable beds and sheets. The living room was nice but the furniture really needs to be updated. Overall a great property . I would definitely recommend it.

Nice stay with family

Pros: nice house with ample space, well supplied with beach chairs, towels, and beach wagon. Pool area and deck furniture comfortable. Grill worked well. Two house repair issues were resolved very quickly which was appreciated. Other: there could have been more dining chairs, parking limited to 2 cars in driveway and 2 small cars in garage, trash pickup is mid week so expect trash cans to be full on arrival and same with once a week pool cleaning (disappointed pool was dirty). Walk to beach very manageable… nice beach

Very disappointed

As far as building Air didn’t work upstairs. Whole place was dirty. We saw small cockroaches in first bedroom and it smelled bad. We had to buy candles because whole place smelled. Living room furniture was filthy and run down. And carpeting was awful

Great place to relax

Our family stayed here and found it to be a very clean and well kept property. The private beach access was great. The pool gets very little sun, but still nice.

House was nice. Took 6 days to get the the code to go to beach.

House was great. Private code to the beach was very difficult to get till the 6th day of our 7 day vacation. So that was disappointing and we got told by the neighboring resort that we weren’t allowed to go through thier beach access. But we made it work and the future guests should be happy that I helped get the new access code so they will be able to get to the beach. Again house great access was not.

Spacious House with Pool

House was very spacious with multiple levels perfect for two families to have privacy. Kitchen was huge and had all the tools for cooking. The pool was actually bigger than I had anticipated. Beach across the street through a convenient gate. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Property Great Location

Our family stayed a week at the property. Great location and just a short walk to a private beach. We were here over Memorial Day and when the public beach looked mobbed, we had a nice spacious beach to enjoy. The house itself is gorgeous and very spacious for our group of 6.

We loved the location, size of home and amenities offered.

Overall great property and would rent again. A few things that did come up were addressed quickly. We did leave a recommendation for one of the pull out beds and hope that gets addressed. Otherwise very pleased with everything the house offered.

Miramar Review

Overall the property was nice and comfortable. The issue we had was that the property said it slept 11 except it didn't. It didn't because the 4th floor sleep sofa was broken and we couldn't get the bed out of the sofa. We contacted the property manager and they said this is true but there is a blow up mattress to replace it. So we tried that the next night but the blow up mattress had a leak and my daughter and son-in-law ended up on the floor at midnight. There was also a heavy build up of mold in the washing machine. I guess the sanitize cycle is never run. Very gross to wash our clothes in it even after scrubbing to try and get the mold off. The property seems very expensive with these kinds of issues.

Good Location, beach walk ok!

This is a spacious home for multiple people. We rented it based on the elevator and trying to accommodate older family members. The elevator had no light and operation sounded rough in our trial attempts. Several of the beds were too high for older folks but overall the home was well equipped, with everything and more . This is a perfect rental for a large group of younger people. The pool is small but adequate.

This is the second time staying here. Plenty of room for our party of 11. Loved having the beach cart, umbrellas, boogie boards, and other various beach items. Beach access is super close and easy. I can’t wait to come back.

Maintenance needed

So the house was in an amazing location. The pool is mostly shaded, but in need of some tree trimming because leaves and items from trees fell in pool. More trash cans needed. Our biggest complaint was the bedroom/game room was supposed to have a pull out couch, However when we arrived the couch was broken and I called the maintenance company and they told me they left a deluxe air mattress. It was a very small air mattress so they said they would bring another one over. The air mattress they brought over was even smaller so we decided to use the original one and it went flat the first night by 1 AM. So we had to go out and buy an air mattress that would stay inflated. SpaceOne light in the upstairs bathroom kept flickering and gave some people a headache. There were no lights in the elevator they said maintenance was going to fix them in the middle of the week nobody ever showed up. The private beach was amazing.

Nice Location

We thought the house was beautiful, roomy, and nice, but you had to wear socks because the floors were dirty. The grill did not cook very well, but worked. Lots of pots and pans in the kitchen. It would be nice if the ice maker worked better. We bought ice daily. Needs wash cloths or sponges to hand wash with in the kitchen. We had towels in the bathrooms, but more wash cloths would be nice. Lots of pillows, but need pillow cases and more linens. Our bedspread in the master bedroom and the two single bedspreads had either uncleaned bedspreads or blood stains on them. It was very hot downstairs. Extra fans might help, or have the air conditioner checked out. Way cooler upstairs except the second floor bedroom. The elevator was amazing! The access to the beach is an issue because the place we were allowed to go through would not let us use the beach. We did, then the other places told us we had to use the one we had access too or move to where the water meets the beach. We plan to just get a place on the beach next time we come, because the beach was amazing! We did enjoy Siesta Keys.

Great Vacation spot for 2 families.

This house is really nice. Our initial impression of the property was extremely high. The house was very well equipped. There were plenty of pillows and blankets. The beds were comfortable. As the week went on we noticed some issues that could easily be resolved. The second floor bathroom water smelled of sulfur and the sink didn’t drain. There are now TV’s in the bedrooms. The pullout sofa on the top floor would not pull out. The refrigerator outside didn’t work. Plan to buy ice as the refrigerator could not keep up with demand at the beach. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot though. We had a wonderful week.
