Frisch renoviert!

Charmante 2 Schlafzimmer, ein Bad Cottage-Einheit liebevoll als "The Albatross" mit allen Bettwäsche für Strand, Bad und Schlafzimmer bekannt.

-Wir Sind bei 28 Seacliff Avenue, direkt an der West Grand .. auf eine Familie / pet orientierte Straße, nur wenige Schritte vom OOB Sand entfernt. (Wir kennen alle unsere Nachbarn und sie sind wundervoll.) Die Lage ist nur auf der Meerseite der Bahngleise (falls Sie die Gegend kennen und nicht auf der anderen Seite der Gleise sein möchten).

-Cottage-Einheit wird 5 bequem schlafen (6 mit der bequemen Leder-Futon-Couch). -Das Haus wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1901 erbaut, aber im Laufe der Jahre renoviert, darunter im Jahr 2019. Niedlich, zuvorkommend, sicher, komfortabel und vor allem sauber.

-Hier ist, was wir mit dieser Vermietung anbieten:

-Privater Hof komplett mit Liegestühlen, Grill, Feuerstelle und Hängematte

-Master Schlafzimmer hat Königin Matratze & A / C.

- Schlafzimmer # 2 hat Queen mit einem Etagenbett Etagenbett

-Leder Futon (liegt flach bei Bedarf) und Leather Love Seat

-Full Küche mit Feuerlöscher, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Mixer, und alle Geschirr, Kochgeschirr, Besteck und andere Kochutensilien.

- WLAN- und LCD-Fernseher in allen Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer mit Streaming-Apps wie Roku TV Channel, Netflix, Amazon Prime und Pluto TV. Es gibt viele Apps, die Ihre lokalen Nachrichten auf dem Laufenden halten (bestimmte Städte).

-Wir Sind etwa in der Mitte von OOB Pier und Ocean Park in schönen Old Orchard Beach.

-Amtrak Zugdepot ist begehbar, wenn mit dem Zug anreisen. Der Zug fährt direkt durch die Stadt OOB und Warnungen jeder Kreuzung, dass es kommt, wenn Sie also sehr empfindlich sind Lärm zu trainieren, können Sie in Saco oder in Ocean Park mieten wollen.

One large Bedroom very nice and comfortable for 2, smaller bedroom no windows but door to the yard, Queen bottom single bunk on top ok for 3 people. 2 Faux leather futons in the living room very uncomfortable to relax although we didn’t spend much time indoors. Nice kitchen with plenty of utensils and supplies. Bathroom nice size although shower is a little cramped. Overall a very nice place to stay close to beach with a nice wagon to utilize.

Nice and close to the beach, nice little backyard. Dog friendly. Train might bother you if you are a light sleeper but overall a great place.

Perfect Location. Great Space.

This is so close to everything in OOB. You can’t beat it. We loved our stay and would definitely book again. Folks with senior pups, there are stairs at both front and back doors, but we were able to make do with her Help Em Up harness. Nice and one level once you are inside.

Conveniently located for a beach holiday

The property is a short walk from the beach, and the laundromat and convenience store are close by. There is good wifi and a TV in each room, as well as air conditioning. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of towels and beach paraphernalia. The cons are that it is beside the train track and the bathroom and plumbing need updating.

Very perfect for a longer-term stay as we bought our house, owner very communicative and helpful. Great beach supplies on hand, comfortable beds, you can’t hear the duplex neighbors.

So close to the beach!

Enjoyed the location and the amenities. Would recommend to small groups - families, friends. Easy walk to breakfast places and the pier. GREAT beach!

Beach Close By

The location of the house in relation to the beach is fantastic. That being said, the house is also directly next to a train track that carries trains all night long. If you are a heavy sleeper, that might not be a problem. If you are not, you will be up every hour all night long as the trains blow their whistles. The house is also more like a camp (bugs, etc.) than a house. If that is what you are looking for, this would be a great place for you to stay.

Great little cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. We knew the train tracks were right behind but the train tracks are next to everything. Hard to avoid. You get use to them. The convenience, cleanliness and beach access far out way the trains. Hope to come back, it was great.

Nice short walk to beautiful beach

We had a lovely time. Away from the hustle of Old Orchard Center but close enough to walk if one chose and close proximity to the beach all make this a nice get away. A little tight for family of 5 with 3 teens but perfect for family of 5 with smaller children.

Perfect Dog-Friendly Beach House

My boyfriend and I booked this property as a last minute getaway and it did not disappoint!! Shawn provides everything we needed and more, the cottage was spotless upon arrival, and the proximity to the beach was awesome. Quieter part of OOB but still close enough to walk to all the attractions! great for walking our dog and enjoying nightly fires. Thanks you Shawn for providing such a great rental!

Perfect

Shawn was incredibly easy to deal with and always got right back to me with any questions we had. The cottage was perfect for my sister and I and her two dogs. It was very clean and had all the essentials needed. It has a very easy access to the beach and is in a lovely neighborhood. It is very quiet there and no disturbances for the dogs. We had no problems, not even with the trains 🚂. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Cute apt attached to a main house, great back yard but your in a parking lot and 100 ft from the Amtrak and Conrail which runs all night with horns and the house shaking. Im not a picky person but this was almost comical. Fool me once

Perfect Maine Getaway

We had the most pleasant stay at this lovely beach getaway. Just far enough from the OOB downtown to have quiet beach access but also close enough to walk to the hub of the city to enjoy the amusement park, food, and of course the historical beach pier. Shawn thought of everything to make this trip a five star long weekend with our family. The cottage was clean and came with all the extras, beach wagon, toys, chairs, skim boards, the house was fully stalked with clean towels, kitchen amenities, and grills tools. He thought of absolutely everything!!

Absolutely perfect location and accommodations!

We found this cottage to be just perfect for our family and dog! My oldest son (10) would run out every time a train went by to take a video of it on his I Pad. He was most excited when he finally got the Dome car that would travel by in the morning. The cottage is located just 3 blocks from the beach and it is accommodated with all the necessities of home. We look forward to coming again next year, now that we have found this gem in OOB!

great place to stay

We stayed at this cozy little place which was a few minutes from the ocean ,but when you are in the back yard having a fire you feel like you are in the woods. Shawn supplied everything needed for cooking as well as a grill for barbecuing which was great we didn't need to eat out every day . It is also only a short walk to the pier and close to many of Maine's popular site seeing spots . There is a train track close to the home and the train went by often but I have to say we were not bothered by it . We would definitely rent this property again and recommend it to other travelers

Close to the beach, a lot of extra beach stuff, but the train was tough!

The cottage was clean and close to the beach. The large bedroom could use a new bed. Shawn was very nice and responsive to issues with the wifi and other questions. There was a lot of extra stuff like beach chairs, umbrellas, a transport wagon, etc. that made the trips to teh beach that much better. Also, the beach is only a few blocks away. However, the cottage is close to the train tracks and a train went by as many as 5-6 times a night blowing it's whistle. This was very tough with a 4 month old.

The train is loud!

We were 2 couples who rented the Albatross. Close to the beach and the pictures of the property were up to date. Shawn was very nice although we had some mishaps along the way. Some were just bad luck - the toaster shorted out, a truck backed up and tore the cable and internet off the house, and we plugged a monitor/TV in the master bedroom and blew a fuse that affected have the cottage. Yup- black cloud! We got a new toaster from Shawn, he got the cable fixed as soon as possible but he really should update the electrical. Also - there are no screens on some of the windows (kitchen and the second bedroom). This was not pleasing to the couple who slept in the other bedroom as they could not enjoy any fresh air and there was no air conditioning....They were not happy. One other bad thing if you value your sleep is the train. It's loud and will wake you in the middle of the night. So other than that we had a good time and tried to make the best of the situation. There were a few other things we were not real happy with like the furniture was uncomfortable. Good things are close to the beach, friendly neighbors and the bed in the master bedroom was comfy. The cottage is fully stocked with household items as promised. Shawn was very nice.

Cute but very close to tracks

Great house and so close to the beach! Shawn was great to rent from. My only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was it was directly behind the train tracks. We have a 15 month old and it was tough at night. It only comes by a handful of times, but when it does, it really blows it's whistles. If all adults or older children, wouldn't be an issue at all. Again, close walk to the beach, the pier, a fire ring, hammock provided (which we used every day!) and cute place. The train could possibly be charming to an older crowd, but young parents beware

I bought this property because of Maine's natural beauty. I am a Mainer (although I have lived in Napa Valley, California and miss it greatly). The location was perfect, and I enjoy taking a couple weeks each summer to enjoy the property for myself. After all, the summer goes by in the blink of an eye...

Being halfway between the Pier and Ocean Park is a great thing. Ocean Park is a "hidden gem" of a small coastal town with excellent restaurants, small shops, and beautiful views. If fishing is your forte, the Saco River is an excellent choice to spend a day casting lines.
