Welcome to our family friendly lakeside haven, where every moment promises fun, relaxation, and cherished memories for all ages. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the landscape, our newly renovated modern cabin invites you to embrace a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility.

The heart of excitement lies just steps away as your family enjoys private access to Little Bass Lake. Enjoy the quiet lake, perfect for a leisurely paddle in canoe, kayak, or SUP; we also have a 4 person electric pontoon available for rent. The home is located in a secluded bay with a beautiful natural lily pad studded shoreline. While the water is shallow out from our dock, it is a short paddle or boat ride out to the main lake. Bass lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for panfish, bass, and pike. The lake does not have a boat access, but If you trailer a boat there are many fantastic lakes in the area, including Big Thunder which is just down the road. The Boy and Woman chain of lakes and Leech Lake are also nearby.

Within riding distance of the property trails await, offering exhilarating adventures through picturesque surroundings during any season, whether biking, xc skiing, snowmobiling, or on ATV.

After a day of outdoor exploration, unwind in the inviting hot tub, where relaxation takes on a whole new meaning. The kids will have a blast exploring the expansive property, complete with a swing set and ample room to run and play freely.

Take a seat in the swinging chairs on the back patio, fire up the grill, soaking up the gentle breeze and lake views. Inside, the fun continues with a variety of games downstairs, including a ping pong table, offering entertainment for all. Whether it's a friendly game of cards, board games, or simply lounging in the cozy atmosphere, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Wonderful place for a girls getaway

Had a girls trip that this place accommodated perfectly. Unfortunately the weather was not as accommodating but we enjoyed our stay. We are already talking about another trip there this fall.

Beautiful property and beautiful location

My friends and I booked a girls Reading retreat weekend and it was such a great find! The hot tub was huge and beautiful, scenery and views were great and the house was clean and well kept. We will be going back again!

Great amenities & view!

The owner was great with answering all our questions. There was lots to do even in the winter (large hot tub, ping pong table, projector, games). We got a small snow storm and the view was beautiful!

Warm and cozy

This house is beautiful and cozy! We went at the end of November and there are fireplaces that make the house warm amd cozy. The big windows look out on the big lake! It is a great place to stay!

Great getaway

Property is well appointed, clean, modern relaxing. We came for a Fall getaway and enjoyed hiking and the peaceful surroundings! We had really good dining experiences at Common Grounds and Deerhaven! Really appreciate the extra towels, hooks, fans, bedside lamps and minimalist decor. The house felt cozy and edited at the same time. There is plenty of seating and room inside and out to hang together or spread out. Definitely recommend and will be back with friends/family in tow.

Wow--just wow

Two friends and I rented this lovely cabin for a girls' weekend--we were enthralled! It has been recently updated, and someone knew what they were doing. The decor is minimalist and charming, and yet it retains a rustic feel. Having new appliances and updated bathrooms was also great. The hot tub in the gazebo was also a great element. We found the host to be responsive and helpful in all communications--going above and beyond, even. The area is remote--which we loved--it made for a perfect, quiet long weekend.

Wonderful Little Get Away with Modern Ammenities

Our family of 10 just enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods. We have 2 married children so the bedroom layouts worked well. The 'kids' enjoyed the hot tub. We found a pickleball court in Remer which was a highlight as our whole family loves to play. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

New, clean, quiet getaway

We enjoyed our comfortable and quiet stay on Little Bass lake. The house has been recently renovated so it's clean and full of amenities! The property manager was quick with our questions. Sadly the pontoon wasn't working but was able to go fishing on the canoe and caught a few pikes and bass. We had two kids under 2 who loved the house and grounds to play in and the house is pretty childproof! Need a few more instructions on how to use everything the house has to offer and can only see the place getting better with more usage!

Family fishing trip

We had an amazing time at this property. This was a great location for our family trip of six. Our favorite part was the pontoon and kayak. We took the pontoon out several times for fishing during the week and had some good luck.The pin pong table was used daily and added some fun memories. Evening fire pit with s’mores was a fun nightly event. There is a lot to do in the surrounding areas as well. We found a good hiking path near Longville that was about 4.5 miles but could have been longer if we wanted. We had some great pizza and pull tab fun at Anchorage Inn. We also rented a larger pontoon from Larry’s boat rental for one day on a bigger Lake, and would highly recommend. John was a great host and was very responsive the whole week. He made us feel welcome and made sure our stay was very comfortable. We would for sure stay again!!! Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us!!

Weekend SxS Ride

This property was beautiful and the house was perfect for our group of adults. We spent the long weekend riding the ATV trails and were able to easily jump on the trails from this peoperty. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of riding. The house had everything we needed to make meals, the beds were very comfortable, communication for check in and questions was prompt and the common area was large enough for everyone to hang out.10/10 highly recommend.

Long Weekend Up North

What a great place to stay. Very comfortable home with everything we needed to relax and be comfortable. Plenty of room - really enjoyed the ping pong table and the hot tub. The deck was a really nice place to be during the day and the gas firepit was awesome in the early evening. Very impressed with the cabin/home.

I stayed with a friend with mobility issues. It was rainy & we wanted to watch TV.Could not get it to load internet. Had to contact owner who got a repair person in early the next morning & solved the problem. The cabin is nicely remodeled, IKEA style. Nice dishes, induction stovetop and oven. Microwave in lower cabinet. Comfortable beds. Nice furniture on deck.Spacious grounds with swing set and fire pit leading to dock area. Was surprised when 2 friendly cleaning women showed up well before checkout.

Great amenities!

I took my son and two of his friends here as a high school graduation present. We had an amazing time! All of the amenities were perfect. The hot tub and pontoon got a lot of use. Everyone had their own bedroom so that was great for downtime too. There's a lot of lily pads right off the dock. It's pretty but swimming and fishing off the dock were not possible. Definitely take advantage of the pontoon rental if you want to fish. We would definitely come back.
