Our property is designed for relaxed family vacations looking a slow-paced environment blended in nature, or for Digital Nomads looking for a quiet oasis to be inspired and productive. Each element and furniture that our owners have put into this property has been carefully curated to make the perfect setting for both family looking to enjoy their vacation and for Nomad teams searching for that edge of comfort, inspiration and exclusive privacy by the beach in Costa Rica.



Here at Casa Blanca, our aim is to give you a luxurious hotel feel in a private home setting. We provide housekeeping services Monday through Saturday with your rental (9am - 12pm). You can pre arrange breakfast preparation for $25 a day. (no groceries included)

With three-miles of coastline, Hacienda Pinilla’s 4,500 acres offer an incredible experience to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of this ranch property, with pristine beaches, and untouched natural landscapes, combined with surf for intermediate to advanced and word class amenities such as , 20 miles of MTB trails, horse stables, 18 hole golf course, tennis and racquetball courts and the renown Hacienda Pinilla beach-club on the white sands of Playa Avellanas, Hacienda Pinilla finds the balance in nature, luxury, adventure and Pura Vida!

For 2025, We have a corporate membership for our guests to enjoy the exclusive Hacienda Pinilla beach club at $5 per person a day.

PLEASE NOTE that the Hacienda Pinilla Beach is different from JW Marriott facility. If you wish to visit the JW, you must purchase a day pass.

Playa Langosta -
With large trees right up to the shoreline, Langosta provides a the perfect setting for a long day at the beach. Bring your cooler, a packed lunch and enjoy a beach day at the 'palapas'.


BEACH CLUB

The Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club sits right on the white sand of Playa Avellanas.

With an infinity-edge pool that looks over the crashing waves of Little Hawaii, The beach club is a must for any of our guests. With an open air restaurant, poolside sunbeds, tiki bar, gymnasium, soccer and volleyball courts The Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club has something for everyone.
As a guest of this property, the entry into the beach club is $5 (only paid once per day and for ages 10+)

*Beach Club has an annual closing in October for maintenance and upgrades.

Hacienda Pinilla is home to the J W Marriott hotel, as a guest of CasaBlanca you have access to the numerous restaurants on offer. See our digital guidebook for menus and information.

Created by Mike Young, This par 72 course, which can play up to 7,200 yards, was designed to enhance the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla, weaving through the tropical forest along the shores of the Pacific to provide an unparalleled blue water backdrop.

• HORSE STABLES
Sixteen kilometers of scenic trails that wind through the dry forest and out to the white sands of Playa Langosta this is a uniquely Costa Rican experience right here in Hacienda Pinilla. Guided horseback tours are available at any time, the tours can be customized to fit your group from 30 mins to 2 hrs the ride takes you through the forest and the along the secluded beaches and river mouths all here within the ranch.

• MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
The pro trails are 30 kms running all throughout the ranch
The amateur trails are 15 kms
These trails are also great for hiking and exploring the 4500 acres.

• SURFING
Hacienda Pinilla has to be one of the best locations in Costa Rica to base your surf trip. With 6 waves just on Playa Avellanas and private access to the beach breaks of playa Langosta you don't even need to leave the ranch, but if you looking to explore the area, the famous Playa Negra reef breaks are just 10 minutes south and the the river mouth and beach breaks of Tamarindo just 10 minutes to the north.

We recommend that you choose Liberia as your international arrival destination. Casa Blanca is just 1 hr and 15minutes from the international airport of Liberia (LIR)

Casa Blanca is located 5 hours from the international airport of San Jose(SJO)

We can help arrange a private shuttle or rental car pick up for you. Additionally, we can arrange a rental car to be delivered to the property for your arrival.

• We highly recommend you to rent a vehicle during your stay as our community is secluded from the closest town and all destinations are within driving distance.

There is a VERY STRICT no-noise policy outside between 10p-6a. This is not the house to host a party or event. This home is great for groups of adults and families who respect the neighbors and rules of the community. If you plan to bring a big group to have a party, or large event, or make excessive noise, please reserve another property as the noise will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave without a refund.***
