Could have been perfect, but not what we booked

The property we booked was not the property we ended up staying at. At 12:45 PM on the day we are set to check in, I received a phone call asking to have a late check in because the cleaners hadn’t entered the property on time. I agreed. Then at 3:01 PM I was texted that the previous guest was still in our unit and they cannot access it. So we would either be refunded or switch to a unit that is not what we booked. Mind you, I booked this in October of 2024 for a stay in April of 2025! I booked a larger place because while we only had 4 people they were from different families. After much back and forth we agreed to the lesser unit because we literally had no where to go and proximity was a necessity. The company made accommodations so it ended up being fine. However, the inconvenience and stress very frustrating to start off our stay. The unit itself was good, location was perfect for where we needed to be, and the communication with (even with the issues) was very accessible. If it hadn’t been for the checkin issues, would have been a perfect stay. Again, they made it right with accommodations so I was pleased with that.

Very nice location & property. Felt very safe

Overall it was a great stay. But a few things stood out - place could use a deep cleaning, fans in bedrooms were wonky, not enough towels, top dead bolt doesn’t fit in the hole in the wall. Just a few things we noticed, but like I said, it was a great property and we genuinely enjoyed our stay. Instructions were clear & free parking in the garage was amazing!

Could be a great place to stay

This property has a great location to downtown. Has a secured gated garage area. Has comfortable beds and furniture. It looks just like the pictures. However.We had 5 people in our group. Owner provided 6 towels. Which means if a towel got used or dirty, we would be washing a load to get a clean towel. We asked the owner and were told if we wanted more than one each, we would need to bring our own. Also. We had no hot pot holders and kitchen towels . Not enough silverware for one meal 5 people. Master bath vanity downstairs has loose faucet and a sink that doesnt drain. Loose door knobs and a ceiling water leak upsstairs master. All exit doors hard to secure. Bedroom fans have a mind of their own. Almost like they were possessed!!. Turning on and off by themselves. Both shower pans had mold in them. The refrigerator was not hooked up to a water line for ice. The apparently new fridge is sitting at bottom of stairs because it doesnt fit in the hole where the water line is. Called owner and was told ice was not promised. Can you imagine flying to Dallas and having to bring a suitcase with towels and silverware and ice! This property is a BYO

Great location

Everything was as described and pictured. Great location with shopping, restaurants and entertainment within 10-15 min drive. The view of the city at night from the balcony was great! There are a few items that need repair (water leak damage, paint peeling, fixtures that are loose, etc.)

This place is everything you need it to be . The views are great and the location is very convenient for where you need to be and it was very clean. I would definitely book again when I make another trip.

Potentially awesome

Great location near convention center. Spacious and nice. Elevator broken the 2 weekend days, but it happens. Kids disappointed no ball for foosball table. Needs more towels, paper towels, and the dishwasher didn’t clean well. But those things are simple to fix and overcome —they do not detract from a potentially awesome rental. Quiet neighbors, close to a little coffee shop.

Long Weekend

Nice place, the floors could use a good cleaning. We had a small child with us that isn't walking yet. Their feet were black from running around in their walker, and we didn't let her crawl on the ground for that reason. Other than that the place was great. Located very close to the convention center, walking distance.

Very Clean, walking distance to convention center

Looks just like the pictures. Very nice condo. Very responsive communication with rental agency. Gated parking was nice and felt safe. Clear directions provided the day before on how to access the property. We stayed for a week and did a fair amount of cooking there. Might be ok if only staying a shorter time or not planning to cook, as the basic essentials were lacking. Pots and pans very old and Teflon flaking off. Had a paper towel holder but no paper towels (had to buy on our own). Provided one sponge in the kitchen, small bottle of dish soap and one clothes washing machine soap packet. No wash cloths or towels in the kitchen. There were no hot pads and no broom. There was dishwasher soap and salt and pepper which was much appreciated. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. A spare roll or two would be nice. We did ask for more kitchen garbage bags and bath towels and those were brought to us the following day. One of the stove burner knobs was broken. There was a remote control in the living room, we assumed for the ceiling fan, but it had no batteries in it. One of the lamps in the main floor bedroom would not turn on (light bulb burned out??) Overall minor things....but with the improvements this place would be 5 stars overall. It also did smell like marijuana in parts of the hallways or staircases as another review mentioned....but we quickly realized this was common anywhere we went in Dallas and not to the fault of this condo.

Spring Break in Dallas

Property was very clean and easy check in process. Located downtown and could walk to some areas. Facilities was nice and balcony view was great sight of skyline. Only thing about the stay is the back patio door was hard to open/slide. Home did not have any back up toilet paper or paper towels. Ended up having to purchase small items during our stay such as toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper and no broom for sweeping. Overall nice property would consider visiting and staying again.

Spacious and clean property within an easy walk to the convention center. Amenities provided were minimal (one towel per person and one roll of TP per bathroom etc) but not a deal breaker for us. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Birthday Weekend Stay

The place was great. Just as listed. The rooms were big, clean, and the view was amazing. The internet worked well and we were able to work when needed. The host had zero communication until about 20 minutes after the check in time and finally sent the check in instructions via text after I texted them first. On check out day my friend got sick and we were waiting for her doctor to call us back. Check out is at 10 (why not 11) and we asked if we could have a couple of hours until the doctor called back and gave us extra instructions, also because she was moving really slowly because of the pain. They ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to give us more time. Actually they only texted and it was like a bot or something because when I asked a question they kept saying hold on and then would come back with the same canned answer. I spent more time begging the bot to not make me drag my sick friend out onto the street (we don’t live in Dallas) than I did actually helping to take care of her. So the place totally 5 stars. Very cool. The customer service and hosts 1 star just because they answered.
