back to the old neighborhood

my sister and I have stayed here 3 times now and really enjoyed it we grew up in this area when it was nothing but sand dunes so its always nice to visit. the unit is nice and clean and comfortable and the porch is so inviting watching the crazy squirrels scurry here and there,excellent location to the beach and the farmers markets and of course st augustine we'll be back thanks again

Very nice condo, very near the beach. Nice places to walk our dog in this neighborhood. Eateries within walking distance and shopping nearby. We had a great stay, and can't say enough great things about our host.

St Augustine get-away

This was a home away from home. The condo/apartment was very comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the heat of the afternoon, and watching TV on the hugh television in the evening. The beach was a short walk away and local restaurants were plentiful. We visited the old town in St Augustine and climbed all the stairs in the lighthouse. It was a great place and we're likely to return.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This is a wonderful apartment in a duplex building. The location is quiet, shaded and residential. It is theee short blocks to the beach. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and equipped with all amenities required for an apartment stay. Linens are very clean and good quality. Loved my stay, especially had a great terrace for morning coffee and en breakfast. Very impressed with host thoughtfulness in making the guest feel at home to enjoy the place.

Loved my stay!

I was totally happy with my stay at this property! It was clean, spacious, airy and bright. I also loved the decor and the modern kitchen. The location can't be beat! It's a very short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The neighborhood is very nice with friendly neighbors and lots and lots of dogs which made my pup happy!I can't say that I had any problems, but the owners were very responsive any time I reached out.

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay at Coquina Gables. The apartment was as described in the listing. It had a great, beachy feel. The location was perfect for us, in a neighborhood, off the Main Street. A quick walk and you were able to have your toes in the sand! Plenty of great places to have a meal within walking distance as well. We loved exploring St. Augustine!

got in after dark on a very cold night and the combination wouldn't work for us got a hold of Kristi's place of business and schaffer was there within minutes Had a wonderful stay with family and being back in the neighborhood I grew up in The upstairs apartment was fun watching all the birds,squirrels and humans. the place was perfect and minutes from the beach. island donuts rocks. beds and towels were nice but the throw rugs defintely need to be replaced Thanks again for having us

Quick walk to the beach

Great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the deck and relaxing in the family room. There are a couple of options to eat and have some drinks a short walk away or a quick to drive seafood restaurants within a few miles. The beach in the area is very nice as well. A short drive to the historic sites of St Augustine. Having a place to park was a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this rental.

Really great rental

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It was spotless and well stocked with everything we could need: linens, kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, beach needs, etc. The bed was comfortable, the living room and dining room furniture were great. A nice container of cold filtered water in the refrigerator along with a bottle of Prosecco were nice touches, as well as ice in the freezer. There was a great balcony for getting some sun. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apt in St. Augustine

We were very comfortable in our stay, and the owner was accommodating. The only thing I would recommend the owner to improve on would be to have a few more items for cooking meals. All the basics are covered, but for someone like me who cooks a lot, I might suggest getting a set of measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisks, scraping spatula, bigger tongs and scissors. Otherwise, the place was great!

Phenomenal

The location was off a quiet road, nice little yard. The house was beautiful, well set up. Wonderful top of the line pots and pans, silverware. Bed was the perfect softness with cozy sheets and wonderfully soft towels. I can’t find a single issue with the location! We were so pleased! We were maybe 10 minutes from the heart of St. Augustine, but far enough from the heavy tourist and a short walk to the beach! It was so perfect 😍

Perfect apartment/Vacay Spot.

Over all the apartment was well maintained and equipped with everything you need to cook (Sharpened knives and all) and to spend some good time at the beach (beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys for the little ones and a cart to carry all your stuff to the beach). The apartment it self was clean and nicely decorated; geographically speaking it was close to the beach (walking distance) and not to far (by car) from the grocery store. The beach, just down the street is perfect for all ages to have fun in the sand and in the waves. Communications with the manager was prompt, fast and clear; he/she answered every questions promptly! We will return for sure (apartment and St-Augustine) since St-Augustine was a memorable place for us during our 2024 summer vacation.

Len Weeks is a general contractor and built this duplex in 1982 and rehabbed it completely in 2020. We are both business people. Len runs his general contracting business & maintains 20 long term residential and commercial rental properties in the historic district and at the beach. Kristy owns Panache: an Aveda store, salon & spa right down the road if you are in need. This is our 7th vacation rental all in the same area of St Augustine Beach. Walk two blocks to beautiful St Augustine beach but don't forget the boogie boards, chairs, cooler etc provided in the outside closet. Sit by the fire pit in the front yard and listen to the ocean waves at night. Peaceful, serene and relaxing environment in well cared for clean home you will sure to be comfy and cozy in.
