Historic Treme Gem: 3BR/2BA Jazz Oasis
Welcome to our charming 3-br, 2-ba New Orleans getaway nestled in one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, the historic Tremé. This vibrant and eclectic home is the perfect base for exploring the unique culture and music that define this incredible city. Only blocks from the action of the French Quarter, you are centrally located to New Orleans' most well-known hotspots including Frenchmen and Bourbon St, Jackson Square and many of the eateries and live music venues this city is known for.
This recently renovated, early 1900's Tremé hideaway boasts all-new appliances and modern comforts to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Inside you'll find a spacious and modern interior dressed with New Orleans-inspired decors, comfortable furniture, and all the creature comforts you deserve. The living room features a mounted flatscreen TV with Roku to watch your favorite movies and shows. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to warm your food and chill your drinks — including a breakfast bar with two barstools, stainless steel appliances, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee station, tableware, cookware, and a full-sized fridge to hold groceries and leftovers from those massive French Quarter meals.
Immerse yourself in the local culture with New Orleans-themed wall art and a curated selection of books, providing insights into the city's rich history and traditions. Dive into the soul of New Orleans with our record player and collection of local vinyl records. The speaker for the record player also has Bluetooth connectivity, so you can play your own favorite music. And did we mention the patio? Grab your coffee or cocktail and unwind on the shaded patio out back.
Everything you need is right here for you, though we imagine you won’t spend too much time inside. After all, you’re mere steps away from the city’s best entertainment, restaurants, and bars.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Our spacious 3 bedrooms include 1 queen, 1 full, & 2 twin beds, and accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably, making it ideal for families or a group of friends. You'll find 2 well-appointed bathrooms with all the essentials you need for a refreshing stay.
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Step outside and take a short 5 min walk to Esplanade Avenue, the "downriver" boundary between the French Quarter and the Faubourg Marigny. One of the quietest, most scenic and historic streets in New Orleans, Esplanade Avenue is a hidden treasure running through the heart of the city.
From Esplanade Ave, take a right down North Rampart to explore Armstrong Park or continue on to Bourbon St to visit Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar. From Lafitte's, you'll be a quick 7 min walk to Jackson Square!
Or if Bourbon isn't really your style, take Esplanade Ave down to Royal St and hang a left to find the myriad of music spots on Frenchmen Street. On the way, you can stop at the famous R Bar. With seasonal crawfish boils, a pool table, and reasonably priced drinks — oh, and a Monday night $10 shot and haircut combo — there’s always something going on around there
Also within a few minutes' drive or less than 20 min stroll is the famous and sprawling French Market, the legendary beignets and coffee of the Cafe du Monde, the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral, and the paddle-wheeled riverboats along the Mississippi waterfront — not to mention more bars, restaurants, museums, curio shops, and art galleries than you could possibly ever visit in one trip.
The dream-like settings of Audubon Park and City Park, with their massive moss-covered oaks and glorious mansions lining the nearby avenues, are a short drive away. Further afield, you have the deep Louisiana bayous full of gators and cajuns alike, plus historic battlefields and plantations to tour.
You couldn’t possibly see and do everything New Orleans has to offer . . . but you can sure have fun trying!
So grab a drink and start planning your trip now. Or come with no plan at all. Either way, having a great time in the Big Easy is, well, easy.
