The Space:

Tucked away in central east Austin, Holly sits in a perfect pocket between teeming East 7th Street to the north, residential Govalle to the east, and serene Lady Bird Lake to the south. To the west, the bright lights of downtown (particularly ‘Dirty Sixth’ and Rainey streets) are an easy walk or bike ride away.
When you're not out exploring the streets of Holly, you'll find your own little haven right here. The kitchen, with its generous windows, offers a perfect view of the backyard, which is fully fenced in. And with all that countertop space, new stainless steel appliances and open concept design, you'll be cooking up fantastic meals in no time! Speaking of cooking, you can add BBQ to the menu thanks to your outdoor grill! Enjoy it at any of the dining areas you choose - the large capacity dining table, the backyard picnic zone, or under the covered patio area!
And when it's time to unwind, challenge your crew to a fierce foosball match, catch up on your favourite shows around the 45" Smart TV (with high-speed internet, of course), or grab a blanket and cuddle up to watch a film from the movie projector (inquire for details)! The ground level King sized bedroom has a smart TV and daybed. There's a beautiful bathroom with slate tiles in the large standing shower, which has a rainforest shower head. The upstairs loft has a queen bedroom with wall mounted shelving and a swing chair. You'll also find a little tucked away nook here, with a single bed and a daybed and skylight windows.

Free street parking is available. Please don't park on the grass, block sidewalks, parking signs, fire hydrants, and neighbors’ driveways to avoid your vehicle being towed. If you own bikes or scooters, please refrain from parking them on the sidewalks or outside the house. Instead, there's a designated gravel area on the property where they can be neatly parked.

Friday nights revolve around the bars on Sixth Street. With the University of Texas and Austin Community College nearby, students go on pub crawls or just enjoy the various nightlife options that the neighborhood offers. One of the most famous bars in Texas resides on Sixth Street, aptly named the Ice Bar. Almost everything inside is made of ice and the bar is, understandably, very cold, so customers are advised to bring a jacket even in the dead of an Austin summer.
Getting Around:

The CapMetro bus system serves Holly well, with the 4, 17, and 322 routes all connecting the neighborhood to Downtown Austin. Also, with the help of route transfers, to the University of Texas, South Austin, and North Austin.
Austin is a driving city: if you don’t have a rental car, Uber and Lyft will be your best friends. Alternatively, you can rent a JUMP bike or scooter and zip around for $0.15 a minute.

1. The movie projector is currently not available for use until the program is fully set up. There's a $3000 fine for damage.
2. There is no handrail on the ladder connecting the kids' room to the loft area. Please be careful to avoid any accidents while using it.
3. Indoor Fireplace is permanently locked and won't be available for guest use.
4. The bed on the loft is only a day bed, not an actual sleeping space.
5. Please exercise caution to prevent the cabinet door from hitting the fan. The fan is valued at $1,500, and any damage caused will incur charges for replacement.
