You are truly disconnected at the farm, and your mind and body will thank you for it. Technology, restaurants, and other modern conveniences are just a short drive into Lake Lure, 2 miles away.
Though there are lots to see and do around the property, one of the best parts about staying with us is the close proximity you’ll have to super fun activities and attractions such as zip lining, fishing, tubing, hiking, horseback riding, golf, wakeboarding, and boat tours, just to name a few.
The 160 sq ft “The Burrow” features:
- A kitchen that’s outfitted with a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, single-burner electric stove, coffee maker (some coffee is provided), tea kettle, toaster oven, utensils, and cookware
- 2 beds and 1 full bathroom to accommodate 4 guests as such:
Bed 1: Full-size bed
Bed 2: Full-size futon
- A private BBQ with utensils
- Parking for 2 vehicles next to The Burrow
The Farmstead is a special type of stay because it offers guests an opportunity to reconnect with themselves in a way that others do not. In addition to providing a beautiful and relaxing retreat, the Farmstead is run by humanitarians who are committed to providing water, schooling, mentorship, and trade skills to children in Tanzania. Every night spent at the Farmstead brings one day of school, and we hope that you will join us in our cause! Every stay has brought a day of possibilities to the children in Tanzania.
