Summary:
Welcome to Casa Verde! This truly authentic southwest style Old Town home is located less than a mile from Fashion Square, The Entertainment District and Camelback Mountain. So you're minutes away from everything- that's if you ever want to leave the Casa Verde! The outdoor space is truly spectacular- we know you'll love it. You'll also enjoy luxury linens and the highest standard of cleaning by Well & Good Cleaning Services. There are a lot of cookie cutter homes- there is only one Casa Verde!

The Space:
This 4 Bed/2 Bath home is fully furnished and equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your stay:

PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional cost to heat the pool.

Heat set to 85 degrees = $50/day

To include this with your stay, we need to collect payment at least 48 hours prior to checkin. Heating must be for your entire stay, we cannot do certain days, or part of your stay. We can not turn the heat on after your stay has started.

In order to keep the pool serviced and maintained properly year round our staff and our pool guy come by on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Pool servicing generally only takes a few minutes depending on the condition of the pool. Please do not be alarmed. It usually only takes a few minutes, and they will not be entering any part of the home.

*Additional maid service cleans are available for an additional cost during your stay. Please ask for details!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard.

The Neighborhood:
The home is only a mile or two from plenty of amazing restaurants and shopping in Old Town Scottsdale. Check them out!

Getting Around:
I also work closely with GolfTroop, a golf vacation company. They have awesome discounted rates at most of the area golf courses, as well as rental vehicles through Alamo, and even rental clubs. Just ask me for details, and I would be happy to have someone reach out!

Other Things to Note:
Welcome to the delightful Casa Verde! This home is about a 5 minute drive from Old Town Scottsdale where you can find shopping, night life, and eateries. A few of the popular restaurants include Olive and Ivy with Mediterranean options and the upscale Mastro’s City Hall. There is plenty of nightlife if needed with bars like Wasted Grain and Living Room. You can find a variety of entertainment in the surrounding area including Medieval Times, Top Golf, and the Odysea Aquarium. If you find yourself in need of outdoor activities look no further than the beautiful Camelback Mountain trails or the family-fun Phoenix Zoo. There is plenty to check out during your stay!

There will be a house manual upon arrival that you will be expected to read. All important rules and expectations will be outlined in the manual.

Renter understands that an insurance policy covers the Property but that this policy insures only the Property and the tangible personal property in it owned by the owner and does not insure any personal property of the Rental Party or Renter’s licensees, invitees, or guests. Renter is advised to seek traveler’s or renter’s insurance if Renter desires to insure the Rental Party’s or other persons’ personal property during the occupancy.

Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., and checkout at 11:00 a.m. Early check-ins and late check-outs are generally not possible due to the time it takes to clean an entire home. The only way to ensure an early arrival or late departure is to purchase an extra night. Please contact me 24 hours in advance if you would like to extend your stay, and I would be happy to see if that is an option.

Failure to depart the premises before 11:00 a.m. on check-out without prior written consent will result in an additional charge of $100/hour withheld from your security deposit, plus any expenses incurred by needing to move your personal things out of the home, or from moving the incoming group of guests to a new property.

Any stay 28 nights or longer will be required to provide a credit card to keep on file. Our personal terms and conditions will also be sent separately and will need to be submitted. Feel free to ask for a copy if interested.

For any booking 28 nights or longer, any adjustment to the booking resulting in a reduction in the length of stay will incur a $500 fee, plus 10% of the difference in price.

Electricity will be charged separately ONLY FOR STAYS 28 days or longer. There is a large monthly discount applied, so in an effort to keep your price as low as possible, we ask guests to pay for the electricity separately. Everything else will be included (wifi, cable TV, tax, cleaning every 2 weeks, pool/gym access, etc.) We estimate the average electricity bill to be $300/month. It's possible it may be a bit more in the summer with heavy A/C usage, and it will most likely be quite a bit lower in the winter. Once the reservation is confirmed, we will send a request to pay a $300 electricity deposit for the reservation. This will be applied to your final electric bill. Any difference will be refunded to you, and any additional amount will be withheld from your security deposit. Checkin details will not be sent without the $300 electricity deposit paid in advance. Payment can be made through Airbnb as a separate payment, or directly through me with a valid credit card.

No vacation rental or short-term rental may be used for any non-residential use or purpose including but not limited to any of the following:

1.Any commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or other non-residential purpose; or
2.Operating a retail business, restaurant, event center, banquet center or similar use; or
3.Housing sex offenders; or
4.Operating or maintaining a structured sober living home; or
5.Selling liquor, controlled substances or pornography; or
6.Operating any adult-oriented business including nude and topless dancing.

I will be available via email during business hours. Your check in information will also include an After Hours/Urgent phone number for issues regarding lockouts, water leaks and heater or A/C failure. No one will be on the premises.

Perfect place !!!

My sisters and I took our mom to AZ for a bday weekend celebration. It was the PERFECT place . It was ideal for our group . We loved the patio !!! The managers were easy to communicate with and very helpful. The only thing that was somewhat a little problematic was the water takes along time to heat up

Perfect family getaway

Charming

Our family stayed at this property over Christmas. Overall, we found the property to be comfortable and charming. The outside space has a lot of character and is relaxing. The location is great. We walked to Old Town Scottsdale and the neighborhood is wonderful and safe. In my opinion, there are some opportunities for the owner to take care of some deferred maintenance issues that would give this property a 5 star Rating.

Perfect Location to Old Town

The house is in a perfect location to Old Town Scottsdale. It was very hot when we were there (over 100) so we weren't able to walk as much as we would have liked, but we were able to walk home from dinner once the sun was down. If you are there at other times of year it's definitely easy to walk into town. The house was clean, but needed attention in the outdoor area. The pool was great, but the table, counters, and chairs were very dusty like they hadn't been wiped down in quite awhile. That is really our only complaint. It didn't totally effect our stay, but would be nice if the same cleanliness on the inside was outside as well.

Wished it was a better experience

The house was a little quirky. The outdoor area was nice, but there were rusted bar stools that left stains on the back of clothes. When we got there, my friend sat in on dining room chair where the leg was broken, and fell almost hitting her head on the floor. (Why was a broken chair pushed back into the dining area like it wasn't broken??). The bed in the master bed room was uneven, and the right side higher than the left side. The shower in the master bathroom wasn't functioning well and water didn't get very hot. The sink in the master bathroom had these weird small knobs with black grip tape on it (it left small little black residue on your fingers every time you turned it on and off). The bathtub in the guest room was VERY slippery. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen need to be repaired, as they appeared broken.Overall, it wasn't a bad house but I do think it needs a lot work on repairs.
