Ruhe und Frieden am Tor zum North Cascades National Park - weniger als zwei Stunden von Seattle entfernt! Geräumige Holzkonstruktion mit Kathedralendecke in einem ländlichen Paradies.

Weltklasse-Angeln (oder einfach nur den Lachsen beim Laufen zuschauen!) am Zusammenfluss der Flüsse Skagit und Cascade und erstklassiges Wandern in den North Cascades, in der Nähe vieler Ausgangspunkte, darunter der spektakulär schöne Cascade Pass und Hidden Lake / Lookout.

Das Chalet beherbergt bequem zwei bis sechs Erwachsene in zwei großen Schlafzimmern (Master Suite und Loft) sowie ein Schlafsofa im großen Raum. Eine zusätzliche Kojebettecke für zwei Personen unter 150 Pfund (Kinder, vermutlich) bringt die Summe auf acht.

Komplette Küche und optionale Wäsche, nur wenige Gehminuten von Marblemount zum Essen und Einkaufen.

Lovely Property

This is a beautiful property and a great location for exploring North Cascades NP and the surrounding area. The pride of ownership shines through from initial reservation to final departure. The owner provided very detailed and clear information prior to check in. The property was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and no detail was overlooked. The beds were comfy and the area is very peaceful and quiet. There are a few good restaurants very close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Week in North Cascades

This cabin was the perfect spot to enjoy the North Cascades area from. Cabin was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, beds were comfortable and the downstairs shower was amazing. We were even lucky enough to get an amazing view of the Northern lights several nights.

Stay at this terrific home!

Located close to everything, but far enough to feel like you are in your own private mountain get-away. Wonderfully kept home with everything needed and an incredibly responsive owner. Views of the mountains, and proximity to the river, North Cascades National Park and town were perfect.

Beautiful house with great access to North Cascades National Park. Steve was great and access to the property was easy. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The lofty ceiling in the livingroom was awesome. The dining table was a great spot fir famiky games. Really enjoyed the decks!

Tranquility

Quiet, clean, well-maintained property with a caring host. We were a large group visiting the Cascades, so we booked the Rainbow House and the Private Annex (see separate review) together. The Rainbow house is beautiful. Room to spread out but easy to spend time together. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the equipment needed to make family meals. It is close to good hiking trails It’s also an easy walk to town where we found good restaurants, a coffee house, and a small grocery store. Perfect!

Absolutely amazing!

We loved our stay at rainbow house and fell in love with the area. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The scenery surrounding the house made relaxing on the porch even more enjoyable. Not far from the park, river, or local stores and restaurants. The house was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Steve was responsive and helpful. You won’t regret renting this place. We hope to be back!

Beautiful Cabin

Lovely, well-appointed home for our family of four. Close to North Cascades and perfect for resting after a long day of hiking. We stayed in four VRBOs on our trip to Washington national parks and this was easily the best. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Wonderful Experience

Rainbow House is in the perfect location for exploring North Cascades National Park. It is also the perfect location and place for a quiet and comfortable vacation. The description and instructions are thorough, the house had everything we needed, and is beautifully furnished and decorated. The grounds/yard are extremely well taken care of. Luxury Mountain Retreat

My wife and I enjoy finding off-the-beaten-path places to stay when we are hiking the National Parks and on vacation. The Rainbow House certainly fits the bill and more! Although there is a main road out front, you don't hear cars and have a house on five acres all to yourself! Not to mention being surrounded by a 360 mountain view! Access to NP trailheads and the Visitor Center are close by. We spend our day hiking and meeting with people, so to have a place to call your own is right for us! The Rainbow House is perfect for families and it was a luxury space for the two of us! The owners have thought of everything and if it is not in this house, you don't need it! Communication with Steve is excellent and the cleanliness of the house is impeccable! There are not a lot of rentals in this area, so if you are considering visiting this area, book it!

Closest to Cascades NP!

Our family of 6 loved our stay here! It was inspiringly beautiful and conveniently close to Cascades NP. Thankfully it wasn't too hot as without AC the four beds in the loft might have been a bit warm at night without AC. The only other feedback is that the water pressure was low (couldn't shower when dishwasher was running, etc.) but Steve was very responsive to us and he had great suggestions on what to do in the area. We definitely recommend staying here when you're in the area.

Wonderful house and location

We loved our stay! The location was perfect for us- close to the entrance to North Cascades National Park where we wanted to explore, and very close to the little town of Marblemount to grab dinner and conveniences. The cabin is in a beautiful setting, in the field surrounded by mountains. It had everything we needed, from a well stocked kitchen to plenty of space and thoughtful extras like provided dish soap, shampoo and body wash. Communication was smooth and prompt. Highly recommend!

Marblemount and the North Cascades are close enough to our home in Seattle to provide overnight escapes in addition to longer wilderness experiences. Those escapes kept us sane during our business careers. And when we weren't in Marblemount, all we had to to do was close our eyes and imagine ourselves being there. We called that 'A Marblemount Moment.'

We're at the entrance to North Cascades National Park and the property is in a cleared field across from the Skagit River with 360º views of the surrounding mountains.
