Great Location

This is a great location in downtown Cleveland. The unit was clean, and provided a view of the Cleveland Skyline including Public Square and Lake Erie. It was ideal for two couples who needed a place to stay for the night.The check-n process was very easy, after a 5-10 minute hike from the parking garage. We were greeted by a warm friendly fireplace. Unfortunately, the unit was extremely warm (76 degrees). and the fireplace was kicking out additional heat. We were not able to successfully adjust the thermostat, and we could not figure out how to turn off the fireplace, so it was on all night. We had to open the windows (it was in the 20's outside) to try to cool the place down. The beds were comfortable, and despite an early review, the sheets were clean. It was quiet, tastetfully decorated and updated. The living room rug posed a safety hazard as one of the corners was bent upwardsThough we did not cook, the kitchen had the basic staples, but could have used larger drinking glasses. We appreciated the thought of the in room coffee maker which was depicted in the photographs, but the only K-Cups available were pumpkin spice and Apple Crunch something or other. Other than the heat, no complaints.

Filthy and in a bad area

The apartment was filthy-sheets were not changed, floors were unbelievably dirty, with urine around base of toilet. I couldn’t believe the condition of this place. I have been using Vrbo for a decade, multiple times a year. I have never experienced anything like this property. After many texts back and forth, and providing photos, they sent a cleaning team the next day. In the meantime, since nothing else was available, including local hotels, we went to Walmart to get cleaning supplies to wash the sheets and clean the bathrooms. Absolutely terrible experience! And just to reference the title of this review, this is not a good area, particularly at night.
