About this space
This newly renovated, ground-level apartment offers the quiet charm of the Berkeley Hills but sits just steps from the historic Claremont Hotel, dining, shopping and public transit.
Start your day with a 5-minute stroll to Peet's Coffee, brave the line outside Fournée Bakery, and enjoy breakfast on your master bedroom's private deck. Hike it off at nearby Claremont Canyon and make your way to the sunny Station Burger beer garden. Or stock up at the historic Star Grocery for dinner at home!
The space
This airy 2-bedroom apartment was fully renovated in 2021 and is split between two levels to comfortably sleep a family of four.
The lower level of this unit boasts high ceilings with an open floor plan and ample natural + recessed lighting. The living room has 55"-inch 1080p TV with a sound bar and Apple TV for subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube TV (for live TV). The kitchen features quartz countertops, Bosch dishwasher and an array of quality cookware. A cozy second bedroom features a bunk bed and a large closet, with a large window overlooking the Uplands neighborhood of Berkeley .
The upper level has 4 large closets which include a new washer/dryer and fresh linens. The master bedroom has a luxury Saatva mattress and a spacious desk area with high-speed internet. The full bathroom has a new bathtub and shower.
You'll have your own private entrance and address, well separated from our family home which sits above this apartment. Two additional French doorways invite natural light and direct access to decks plus a shared garden which we seldom use.
